Mephistophiles cleared his throat. "Much as I adore the sewer, I want to get above ground." He handed Faust his jacket. "Put this on, you'll freeze..."
Faust took the jacket gratefully. "There's an exit near here..."

Faust avoided Netsubo's eyes. He was either very deep in thought or very upset. Yuki suspected that he was both.
They reached a ladder. "I'll go first," Yuki volunteered.

Yuki climbed aboveground, and gave the all clear. Mephistophiles followed, and then Faust nodded to Netsubo.

Faust blinked, his face emotionless and his eyes betraying no bias. "Yuki... I'd prefer that you didn't. But you're a man now... so. It's your decision. I trust you to make the correct one."

She could tell that Faust was upset with her, but she had only been telling the truth. She sighed,"Yuki...please this hard about this...Do you really want to give up your life for it?"

"You and Dad both did... so why not me?" Yuki asked. "Besides, after watching the Black Dragons cut off Dad's fingers one by one, and then his arms and legs... I definitely feel like I want to give a rival gang an extra boost."

Big Man was just across the street. He crossed to get to them. "Where were you?" he asked Netsubo angrily, but he paled when he saw Faust's sutured body. "What the hell happened to you, Gaijin?"
"Had a run-in with the Black Dragons," Faust said stiffly.

So much for going unnoticed She though. She kept silent, trying to think of how she'd explain how she found Faust and who Mephisto and Yuki were.
