All those damned creatures are out there. Killing, eating, seducing, destroying lives without care. And for what? Pleasure, fun, or so that they can feel big and strong. This was what Simon thought about as he looked out into the city from his balcony. It just made him so angry that those "things" were out there doing whatever they please without a care, and that the fact they made him angry just made him angry. Simon just couldn't wait until he got out there.

The cold New York City breeze blew his hair that was seperated into two ponytails, whilst he drank from his bottle of scotch. Simon nervously looked around for any hostiles. Like the minute men of the revolutionary war; he was ready at a moments notice to take out his Colt Kingcobra that was tucked to the back of his baggy blue jeans. "Hmm," Simon walked over to the railing and peered out into the city. "Maybe, I should get out more?"

With another gulp of his scotch, and a bit of musing. He mused, "Yea."

Krii'Ouse followed Liora to the Krii'Vette, putting her bag in the back, and sliding into the driver's seat. 'Hmm... how bout Denny's? They have smoking.' he said, starting up the car as she slid in. 'They have killer cheese fries.

((OK, be warned, this post alludes to intercourse, even though it's at a PG-13 level at worst, so if you're offended by even the possible mention of intercourse don't read this post. Thank you.))

The first thing Will noticed was the jackhammer going on in his brain, pounding along the sides of his skull, making the grey matter feel as if it would be turned into mush. He'd had some unbelievable headaches in his day. The occasional bender and these new powers of his had seen to that. But this was still a doozy of a migraine. The second thing he noticed was the thin shaft of sunlight piercing through the blinds and coming straight into his eyes. This further aggravated the headache, as now he had the added sensation of red hot ice picks being shoved into his brain. But the presence of sunlight confused him as well.

'Sunlight? Window? No window in room. No sun either. Room in Haven. Haven underground. But... there sun here. So... this not room? If not my room, where am I?'

Daring to crack an eye open, he immediately shut it once more as the evil beam of light once again shot into his sensitive retinas. But that second long glance had confirmed this wasn't his room in Haven. The walls and ceiling were painted the wrong color for one thing. It also seemed a bit more spacious than his somewhat cramped little room located behind his office. And none of his weapons were mounted on the walls. So, he definately wasn't in his room or Haven. That still left the question of where he actually was however.

Slowly, ever so slowly, Will's mind began to unfog, a disjointed memeories began to filter into his mind. It was painful to think, but he knew instinctively that something was not right, and he knew he had to figure out what.

'Went to Las Noches. Talked to Rogue. Let her drain me to open negotiations. Lydia was there too. Rogue invited Lydia up to the room where we'd been talking. She left Lydia and me alone in the room, and locked us in. I remember sensing Tyler and told him to get lost, then I took a drink to calm my nerves. Blood loss made me more suspectible to the booze though, and I was well on my way to being plastered after only one shot. Talked to Lydia, decided to go to her place, and left Las Noches. Picked up my hidden weapons along the way and walked over to her place.'

Straining, Will forced his mind to clear up, to try and dredge up the fragments of images, sounds, and sensations. He remembered coming bnack to Lydia's apartment and sitting in the living room while drinking vodka. He remembered staring at her, his inhibitions let loose due to the alcohol, and thinking how hot and sexy Lydia was when he allowed himself to notice her. He remembered Lydia's blush as her fingers brushed against his when she served him another drink. He remembered smiling at her, talking with her, joking with her even if he couldn't remember the topics or the words. He remembered that talking soon gave way to flirting and playful if slightly drunken advances on his part as the witching hour came and went. He remembered every one of Lydia's blushes and tiny smiles when he complimented her beauty and intelligence, and how open she seemed to him, almost desperate for his advances. And he now remembered her standing up and motioning him to follow her, which he did as she made her way back to her bedroom.

After that, nothing. A total and complete blank. But what he did remember told him that Murphy had more than likely struck again.

More scared than he'd ever been before in his life, Will tentatively reached out blindly with one searching hand. Definately not his bed, the sheets were too soft and smooth, and they were severely rumpled. The sheets also seemed to be soaked with sweat, and they smelled to high heaven with the odor caused by bodies partaking of intense activity. Further investigations found an opened, sqaure wrapper, similar to those he'd always kept in his wallet ever since first discovering the pleasures of the flesh back when he was seventeen. The presence of that wrapper was a beacon of hope that it might not be as bad as it could have been even while it further confirmed his fears. Finally his searching hand encountered what he knew it would eventually find. The warmth of another body, the contact of smooth skin unbrudened by cloth save those of the sheets, and the gentle swell of feminine curves.

Giving his eyes a few more seconds to adjust, Will finally opened his eyelids and turned to look at the warm body his hand had located. The, lying tangled in the sheets beside him and naked as the day she was born, was Lydia. She was deeply asleep, a pleased grin gracing her lips. Looking away from her, Will confirmed that he too was naked. And over in the wastebasket were several used condoms and opened wrappers, while the digital clock on the bedside showed it to be late morning, meaning nearly nine hours had passed since his last memory of the previous night.

A blind man could see what had happened here in Lydia's room. Inhaling deeply, Will looked up at the ceiling and counted to ten before he let fate and chance know what he thought of them.

"GODDAMN IT ALL TO ******** HELL, I AM SO ********, he was screwed alright... quite literally in fact.

For the first time in a long while, Lydia felt...happy. She felt complete and whole, more so than she had ever felt before she had been broken. Her sleep was peaceful, the dreams soft and happy, and though she had been taught not to, letting her own wants and needs come first had felt nice.

The pyschic turned to face William after his hand had found her body, but sleep ran for cover when he shouted. Eyes popping open, she sat up and looked around before realizing that William had been the source of the shout. "What is wrong?" she asked, reaching out a hand to smooth back his hair.

Liora smiled, placing her own bag in the back as well before hopping into the passenger seat of the Krii'Vette.

"Mmmm...cheese fries and smoking. Sounds like a winner, to me."

Usually, Liora would eschew such fried, greasy foods out of habit, but tonight she figured she might just make an exception. This, of course, was also an occasion that needed due celebration. First, she'd successfully gotten herself into the Haven, and Liora hadn't had the chance to celebrate that. Finally, she was taking the big jump away from life as she knew it by moving into the Haven. Ducking slightly so that she could see the entire apartment complex through the passenger window, Liora gazed a final time at her apartment window and the memories that had occured inside.

"Goodbye." she murmured softly to it, uncaring that Krii'Ouse had most definitely heard her. She turned away from the building, simultaneously shoving her golden necklace and its tokens back into her top. "To Denny's!"

'Excellent.' Krii'Ouse replied, revving the engine, and speeding into the streets. He had heard her say goodbye, but that was to be expected. He turned the radio back on, and put it on a classic rock station. Queen's Who Wants to Live Forever was playing.

'It's going to suck, isn't it...' he started. 'Being Immortal...'

Will gulped as Lydia smoothed his hair back. Her palm felt so good against his forehead, running along the fringe of his hair. Brief flashes came back to him. Impassioned, desperate kisses. Clothes hitting the floor and being flung aside. Twisting and turning together underneath the sheets. Gasps, moans, shouts, and cries of pleasure. The age old dance between man and woman, as old as the human race.

Had Lydia ever been with a man before? He didn't think so. He was pretty sure she'd been a virgin even though he couldn't say for certain. He'd taken something that couldn't be given back. All because he'd gotten drunk. because he'd allowed his base desires and instincts to rule over common sense.

Will felt ashamed. He felt so ashamed. He didn't know if he could even bear to look at Lydia right now. Sitting up, Will took Lydia in a hug, not letting her see his faint tears as he rested his face in her hair. 'I'm so sorry Lydia. So sorry....'
PostPosted: Mon Mar 13, 2006 7:12 pm

She was surprised by his shame and his tears. Had she done seomthing wrong? Regardless, she wrapped her arms around him in a comforting embrace, smoothing down his hair to comfort him. For the first time since she had first recieved that dream, she let her mind search for William's thoughts and found them without difficulty.

"Why are you sorry? There is nothing to be sorry for..." she told him, his thoughts clear in her mind, almost clearer than her own were. "If there is anyone who should be sorry, it should be me. If I had not been so foolish, Rogue would never have given me that dream, and this would not have happened..."

Now Lydia felt ashamed. All her life she had been told that what she wanted and needed was secondary to everyone else; she was tool, a weapon. Weapons did not have needs. "I never should have let my wants come before yours..." she whispered, holding him tighter.

"Oh God, Lydia, it's not that. I... I enjoyed myself. That much I'm sure of. But... I... I can't believe we did that. I mean... That is... I..."

Even in his mind, Will was babbling. His panic meter had gone straight from 0 to 356 in under 3 seconds, a new record. 'God, this is like a soap opera or something! When will I learn?! Alcohol is bad! BAD!!!'
PostPosted: Mon Mar 13, 2006 7:40 pm

"What do you mean? I...do not understand." she replied, sounding as perplexed as she felt. "How can you not believe what we did? What is wrong?" She pulled away so that she could meet his gaze, her own eyes no longer so flat and dull but full of emotion, curiosity and puzzelment foremost in her gray eyes.

"Did we do something wrong?" she asked, fearing that she had hurt or upset him again. Though the wants of the dream were now sated, a new set of wants had replaced them. Making love (she was not sure where she had learned that metaphor, but had come to like it) was still one of them, but it was lessened now.

Making William happy, caring for him, making sure that he was okay...wants like that had come along since this newest development, and she was afraid that she had broken those wants.

Somehow remembering her way to the apartment, Eden lazily strode up the stairs. She was... tired. Yep, definately tired... She had come here because in truth, she had forgotten where Haven was and didn't want Tyler to think that she was an idiot.

Carefully redoing her mangled ponytail, Eden waited outside the apartment door for alittle while before knocking. She took a few deep breaths and knocked casually. Her ponytail was very messy and her hair was all frizzy from falling over so much in the recent passed day.

She continued to fiddle with her ponytail, abviously unsatisfied with her previous results. Clenching the elastic with her teeth, Eden made an attempt to smooth down hair hair. Her attempt was highly in vain, but some of her hay-wired hair slicked down. Finally giving up and just putting her hair up in her usual half bun, half ponytail style, Eden started to wonder what was taking so long.

Eden turned to Tyler just to make sure that he wasn't all weirded out by her obsession with having her hair up. In truth, she had never had her hair down since... Since she had obtained her nasty little reminder... She wondered why she kept thinking about it now, it was awhile ago and she'd thought she'd gotten over it. Apparently that was not so.

Slightly disturbed by the quietness and dullness that the apartment gave off, Eden lightly knocked again. This time she also softly called, "Kerri, Lydia? Anyone here? It's Eden, I'm here because this was the closest safehouse to get to. So if anyone's home it'd be nice to get in." Her voice was shrouded with many different tones, so many in fact, that it was impossible to tell how she felt.

Still not receiveing a reply, Edith grew slightly impatient and wondered if Tyler, being a lycan, would be able to smell if anyone was currently dwelling in the seemingly abandoned apartment. Deciding that they had nothing better to do she casually yet curiously asked Tyler, "Are you able to um... Detect anyone's scent in the apartment? Like can you tell if someone's in there or are you just as clueless as me about whether anyone's actually there or not?" Having never met this lycan before, Edith was strangely not worried or cautious about him at all. It seemed that she was able to tell which hunters were friendly and which ones were more to themselves. Tyler seemed fine, he probably wasn't thrilled about having to chase her around but he seemed to respect her brother since he was constantly watching her, making sure nothing happened to her.

Tyler's intensity and seriousness was actually alittle unnerving to Eden, especially since he seemed so intent on making sure nothing happened to her. When had Will been able to tell Tyler to watch her? And why was Will telling everyone to watch out for her? Over-protective older brother- that quality about Will hadn't changed in all those seven years... He was actually quite the same- more stressed for abvious reasons- but much the same.

Eden started kicking at the ground and dragging her foot along the apartment's floor. It was official, she was restless... and yet she was tired and fatigued at the same time. She went back over to the door so that if anyone was home they wouldn't think that she was pranking them.

The song and Krii'Ouse's words left an imprint in Liora's mind and sufficed to put her in a silent, pensive mood for the time being. Her face vacant of its usual glow, Liora shifted her feet restelessly and turned her face to the window. Liora set about removing the most obvious weaponry from her person as the words of Queen drifted around the car. They were going to a public place. She would still be armed, but only subtly so.

"Yeah..." she murmured after a moment in response to Krii'Ouse's comment. Her tone was one of surrender.

The sleek black Krii'Vette sped away, as dark as the night itself. Its destination: Dennys.

tyler decided to lighten up a little... "i don't smell anyone inside, but i do smell a few friends near by, including your brother who reaks of vodca, i smell krii'ouse, and a friend of his... but if you want inside this room i can do that. replied tyler as he took a knee and got out a paperclip and a peace of wire, withen 7 seconds flat there was a click as the door unlocked. "there you go, or would you rather see krii'ouse or your brother?" he asked kindly... streaching slightly one of his guns fell out of it's holdster, thunking on the ground as he poped his jaw to the side. "gha i need the full moon again" he sighed anxously as his K9s began to enlongate and a tail started to sprout from the back of his pants... "ghaaaaa not here!!!" he growled as he grabed his tail and forced it back into his pants.
