Ren hastily ran over to pick up his ball from across the academy yard and rushed back to his starting spot promptly. His smile widened on his face this time. He felt as if he could reach this goal and then would switch his stance again to test out new variations. Being a dancer, he figured he would have to be able to respond on the fly if he needed to.
He gripped the ball in his right hand and took his previous stance. He smirked and his mind reflected back to a time where his father was still around. "Ren...don't forget to learn new dances, just because I taught you the ones you know...add more to your roster. Absorb dances and create your own, that is the trick to our fighting style," the sound of his father's words echoed through his mind.

He lept off of the ground easily and spun gracefully, sending the ball whizzing through the air. The ball hit its target and bounced off quite effectively. If it were a kunai, undoubtedly it'd stick into the wall as Batosai was demonstrating.

Jericho pushed open the doors of the academy and walked down the hallway peering into the class rooms until he reached the one his class is normally in but it was empty. He decided he would go to the gym and if they were there good, if not, he would just work out. Jericho made his way into the gym to see everyone practicing throwing balls at targets.
“Hello everyone.” Jericho said quietly as he stood in the door way while he waited to be noticed.

Jericho shrugged after he didn’t get noticed after a while. He would have enjoyed catching up with everyone but he wasn’t fond of repeating himself.
Well might as well work out then. He though to himself as he tried to decided what to do for a exercise. Doing push ups was the simplest workout he could think of, and since he had to be ready when someone realized he was there he figured push ups would be an easy thing to get up from. Jericho let out a sigh as he got down on his knees then assumed the pushup position. He pushed himself down and back up again with little to no effort.
“One.” He quietly said when he finished his first pushup.

Jericho let out a deep breath and looked up at his classmates. No one had noticed he was there yet. He looked back down at the ground then lifted his head again and went down for another pushup. On his way back up he felt something in his right arm snap. A sudden burst of pain rushed into his arm quickly after and he rolled over onto his side and clutched his arm. The pain went away just about as fast as it had came leaving Jericho puzzled. He shook his head and stretched out his arms in preparation for the next pushup.

Jericho looked around once again to see that nothing had changed. He was actually relieved no one had noticed him during that last push up, he would have been very embarrassed. He let out another deep breath and pushed himself down to the floor and back up again. A slight smile came over his face after the success of his last push up. He was very pleased that whatever happened in has arm during the previous attempt did not happen again.

Jericho felt as though he was going to have no more issues from here on out, that the injery was only going to kick in that one time. He let out a deep breath and pushed himself down and then began pushing himself back up but his arm popped once again and he was brought down to his side. “Ouch.” He said to himself semi-quietly.
What is going on with my body? He thought to himself. This has never happened before why is this happening? Its my first day back and already my body is giving out on me? Forget that, I will just work through the pain, it went away before, how serious can it be?

Jericho got back into his pushup position and took a deep breath and began. He made it down but on the way back up his arm made another snapping sound and he toppled over. He then sat up and massaged his arm until the pain went away. He smiled even though he was very frustrated.
This is nothing, I can deal with this type of pain all day. He thought. He looked around to see everyone throwing balls at targets. That looks like more fun then this is. Maybe once everyone figures out I am here I can give that a shot.

Jericho got back into his pushup position and tried again. One again his arm made a popping sound and Jericho hit the floor. He let out a sigh before pushing himself to his feet. Maybe if I stretch this will stop. He thought as he began doing various arm and leg stretches. After a few different sets of stretches Jericho felt more confident. He looked at his fellow classmates while they were training. I cant give up, I have to be the best. There is no way around it.
