Jadyn blinked at her hand, then laughed softly. Oh, sorry, he said before taking her hand. My name is Jadyn Meijas, you can call me Jadyn, though, he said with a small, shy smile.

Yes, very new in fact, the boy said, not being able to help following the girl. I was on my way home from a baking tournament, but met a girl on my way through, and came here, to wait for her. She was a good person, there are not enough of those these days, he said with a smile.

"Yeah, you're defiantly right about that.... what was the girl's name...?" Lena asked "I might know who she is and where you could find her...." she continued as she moved to head a little farther down the path to find a spot to sit.

Jadyn paused and looked to her, bowing his head slightly. Can I sit with you? he asked. Her name is Ashuri, she's not going to be coming to the Underground for a while, I received a letter from her just before I arrived, she had some business to attend to, he said with a nod. But I am fine just waiting. I hope I can find a place to stay here, it's a nice little place. I might be able to set up shop here.

"Of course, go ahead..." Lena said with a nod, patting the spot beside her on the bench she'd found to sit on "I know of a nice little boarding house and an apartment building that both have rooms open for rent if you need a place to stay... I could show you to them if you'd like..." she continued with a smile.

Oh, that would be terrific, Jadyn said as he took a seat, his teeth chattering, making his profound Spanish accent stronger. He looked to the girl and tilted his head, smiling. I really like your outfit, he added.

Jadyn smiled and nodded. You're welcome. Me? I'm from Madrid, Spain. Where are you from? he asked. He reached into a pant pocket and pulled out a small wrapped candy, offering it to her. I made it before I arrived, he said. It should be solid still, it's freezing.

"Oh, thank you..." Lena said with a smile as she accepted the candy "And, originally I'm from a small town in New York, but my family moved around quite a lot when I was younger so I've lived in lots of different places..."

That sounds great. When my parents died, I moved to Barcelona, Jadyn said as he pulled a candy out of his pocket, unwrapping it and taking a bite out of the chocolate cherry truffle. I've only ever lived in those two places, but I've seen practically all of Europe, he said with a smile.

Lena said with a bit of a nervous laugh "It was pretty cool to get to see lots of different places, but it's not so fun to be taken away from all of your friends at random points throughout your childhood.... I wouldn't have rather had it any other way though, I never would have come across all the lovely people I have if I had stayed in one place all my live"

Ah, I understand. I was not allowed to go many places when I was younger, I went to school, church, and to Sunday school. Even at school, I had no friends, Jadyn said, his eyes dazed in reflection of his past. I suppose it is better that way, nobody to get attatched to. Until I moved in with my grandmother, I didn't know how good it could feel to have someone to talk to. And when she died, I never realized how lonliness felt, he said. Oh, I'm sorry, I'm rambling, he blushed.
