"Bigger than this place..." Michael said with a laugh "We just have the three bedrooms, living room, and kitchen down here... and upstairs is all Lena's room. She was the first one here in the underground... really, this is her house... I just get to live in it.." he trailed off as he watched Amara move around the room.
"I do.... very much..." She smiled up at him as she spoke. "But umm... it might be better if you uhh.. didn't take the stairs.." she said with a nervous laugh "I think I hear voices inside, and umm... yeah..."

"I had quite a few siblings here by the time I decided to come here. Five brothers, four sisters, and our mother was here too. The old house was a lot bigger." She let her words trail off as her eyes moved through the first cupboard and on to the next. "It's not really anybody's house...But at the same time it's kind of everybody's house."
Shinji's eyes brightened and he couldn't help but let out a soft laugh as he pressed a kiss to her forhead. "I'll wait out here until you make it to your room then, okay?" He bit his lip and tried hard not to let his trembles show obviously as he cupped his hand to her cheek again.

"It must be tough living with so many people..." Michael said, still watching Amara as she searched through the cabinets. "I know it even feels a little crowded around here with just the three, err well soon to be four of us..."
"Okay..." Lena smiled brightly "I'll try not to be long..." she said, giving him one last kiss on the cheek before pulling the door open and slipping inside.
She smiled to herself as she headed quietly towards the stairs, hoping she'd go un-noticed; but Michael had heard the door open and shut and shifted in his seat to look out into the foyer. "Lena..? that you...." spotting her as she started up the stairs. "Yeah... it's me...." she said with a bit of a sigh, stopping in her tracks. "You just getting in...? Where've you been all night..." he questioned, in his usual protective big brother style.

Shinji smiled broadly his fingertips coming to his cheek as he leaned against the wall near the door, thanking whatever forces that be for bringing him and Lena back together.
Amara winced slightly as she turned to look after Michael, her lip catching between her teeth as she peered out after Lena's voice, opting to keep quiet and let the siblings exchange whatever words they may.

"I've been at The Star...." Lena said with a sigh as she stepped back down from the staircase. "I stayed after to clean up so I didn't have to go back down there tomorrow..." she continued as she moved around the staircase to stand in the doorway of the kitchen. "Oh.. well.. okay then... Goodnight, I suppose..." Michael said with a bit of a shrug; he found it odd that she'd stay so late just to clean, but he didn't doubt anything that she'd said. "G'night..." she said with a nod, smiling to Amara before she headed back around the stairs and made her way up to her room.

Amara grinned after Lena but still kept quiet as she watched the older girl move back towards the stairs. She waited until Lena was in her room to shift closer towards Michael. "You were right - The house is pretty well stocked for nobody really cooking." She gave him a smirk as she shifted herself easily into his lap.
Shinji remained outside still, wanting to make sure Lena had made it to her room without company before he tried to orb himself into her room.

"Told ya..." Michael said with a laugh. "I guess it's good to be prepared..." he continued, wrapping his arms around Amara's waist as he shifted slightly under her.
Lena shut and locked the door behind her once she'd made it up the stairs. She moved over towards the large window behind her bed and tapped lightly on the glass to let Shinji know that she'd made it to her room.

"I'd say it is~" Amara offered on an almost teasing tone as she dipped her head to catch Michael's lips, one hand cupping his cheek as she easily shifted her other arm around his shoulders.
Shinji glanced up at the sound of Lena tapping on the glass, a soft exhale before he let his eyes fall closed and orbed himself to her room, appearing with a shiver and a soft blush. "That was faster than I feared it might be...Was Michael asleep or something?"

Michael smiled slightly against her lips, letting a hand wander up to brush her cheek gently as he tilted his head into the kiss.
"It was long enough, you're freezing..." Lena said with a frown as she rubbed his arm gently. "He and Amara were both in the kitchen, but I made up an excuse and got out of there as fast as I could.."

Amara deepened the kiss slowly as Michael tipped his head into it as well, her fingers keeping against his cheek gently and her arm remaining around his shoulders, a-okay with abandoning her hunger for sake of physical attention from the highly attractive boy.
"I'm okay," Shinji assured Lena, smiling shyly as a gentle warmth embraced them both. "Amara's here?" He blinked in slight confusion before snorting a soft laugh, shaking his head as he drew Lena into another hug. "Well, whatever keeps him distracted so I can stay with you is fine with me."

Michael ran his fingers up into Amara's hair as he kept his lips against her's for a bit longer. "Weren't you hungry..." he mumbled as he pulled away.
"Mmm yes..." Lena muttered, smiling brightly. She wrapped her arms around Shinji's waist and let her head rest against his shoulder, content to just be in his arms again.

"I was...But I got distracted." She smirked after him as her fingers moved down his neck so she could rest her hand to his shoulder now. "But now that you mention it again, yes...I am hungry." She laughed, and kept comfortably on his lap despite her words.
Shinji smiled, exhaling softly as he let his eyes fall closed and brought his arms snug around her back. He let his head rest gently to hers, and gave her a squeeze. A soft silence fell over the room as he stood there with her in his arms, his smile still curving his features.

"Okay then... now that we've cleared that up...." Michael said with a laugh before leaning in to place soft kisses down her neck.
"I'm really glad you stayed..." Lena said with a smile, letting her eyes fall shut "I wasn't quite ready to let go of you just yet...."

Amara laughed softly and tilted her head back to offer more access to her skin, her fingers smoothed down Michael's chest as her eyes fell closed.
He wanted to beg her to never let go of him, the thought drawing a deep blush to his cheeks. He didn't want to push his luck with her, though. "Thank you for letting me stay," he started instead. "I wasn't ready to let go of you quite yet either."

Michael kissed his way back up her neck and along her jawline until he found her lips once more. He knew they should probably do something more than just sit around and kiss all day but he was more than content to do so anyway.
Lena let out a contented sigh as she nuzzled in closer to Shinji, if that was even possible. "Maybe we should go to bed..." she muttered, letting out a bit of a yawn.
