Atem woke up, glancing blearily at Bakura's form next to him, oblivious at Khalid jumping in alarm at the sudden motion by him sitting up. Looking over at Kira, Atem scratched his head, slightly confused. "What happened to Bakura? And why's he here?" He demanded, jabbing his finger in Khalid's direction.
Ryou couldn't help but smile. The shadows were pressing around him, sapping away at what little energy he had left, but this was all good. Before he had been stashed away in a corner of Bakura's mind, only in control of the body a moment or two. So in the Shadow Realm, he could walk around freely. Okay, so he didn't have the strength to do so, but there was also the feeling of being freed from his body. This brought back a horrifying memory of when he died, being ripped away from his body as the claws of death claimed him.

"Along with the two Ryous." Khalid added, glancing quickly at Bakura's body. He knew that Atem didn't-- and didn't want to-- believe that Ryou was alive, or at least present in this world.
"What do you--" Atem started to ask, but was cut off when the door burst open, revealing a furious Shadi. Atem noticed that Khalid stiffened, eyes widening in shock and fear for a moment, but the Egyptian quickly covered his emotions over before Shadi could notice anything.

Kira looked up glaring "SHUT THE ******** DOOR!" she yelled at shadi.She was sick of busting into her home "Or even better go out the door and shut it behind you!Along with you.." she pointed to khalid "and you!" she said then pointing to atemu.
((I've never seen him come around here.))

Shadi seemed oblivious to Kira at all. She was in over her head, obviously. Had no idea of what harm would happen if he walked out of there. At least, that was in Shadi's mind. Prehaps fate could've smoothed things over, as Khalid had suggested. But right then, Shadi's mind was set. He did close the door behind him as he crossed the room, approaching Bakura's body, but froze about halfway to it. Eyes narrowing sharply, he turned towards Khalid, anger burning clearly across his features. "This body has no souls of any kind, Khalid." He said, his voice eerily calm. "I can sense your powers all over it." There was a growl at this last part, since it was easy for Shadi to tell the difference between Khalid's energy and Millennium Item's.
Khalid first tried to keep his blank expression, but it was too hard as he locked eyes with Shadi, quickly looking at the ground submissivly. Fear was etched clearly throughout his face, horror in his eyes. He didn't doubt the abilities of Shadi, and knew he'd be begging to die after a while. He stumbled backwards, to get further away from Shadi, but knew that nothing would happen right then. Shadi would first finish what he came for.

Kira sighed and got up.She was soon standing infront of shadi with her arms crossed "Out!Now!" she told him.

Shadi glared down darkly at the girl, knowing that she had too much nerve to someone of her status. Her status being a mere mortal, of course. Shadows engulfed the room as the Millennium Key around Shadi's neck glew, sending the room into the Shadow Realm, where he could work better.
Khalid couldn't hold back a cry of surprise when they arrived in the Shadow Realm; what he saw off to the side, darkened in shadows, made him forget his own fear of what would happen to him. Ryou was standing blankly a little distance away from wherever Shadi had decided to take them in the Shadow Realm. Out of all possible places, it was here, with Ryou within sight. Khalid cringed when Shadi's attention shifted from Kira to the form, eyes lighting up as he saw who he was.

kira was really surprised when they went into the shadow relm.Looking to see who shadi was looking at.Seeing ryou she couldent help but wonder which one it was.Itdident really matter she wasent going to let him touch eather one.

Ryou blinked slightly in surprise; he shivered at this strange sight that materilized before his eyes. Tilting his head slightly to the side, he ventured closer to the others, glad to see people. He hung back a few yards away from the area, sensing a heavy tension running through most of them. Something didn't seem right with their expressions.
is Ryou!> Yugi said in awe to Atem through their mind link. Neither had fully believed it until now, even Yugi, who had been told by Bakura. They could tell it was the real Ryou because he just didn't have the same aura as the other one had; the feeling of being out on everything, the lifeless look in his eyes, all of that. Though neither had really seen their friend's eyes for the longest time, it was obvious to them who it really was.

Shadi's mind was set on his 'mission.' It seemed that his expression wavered for a moment when Ryou cautiously approached, the boy having a slightly ashamed and curious look on his face. But it soon hardened to its normal state, his eyes cold. "You have defied the natural laws of your world, child." He called over to Ryou, knowing the girl would try to stop him if he attempted to approach the boy. "You must return to the land of dead."
Ryou's eyes quickly brimmed with tears as he saw what Shadi was there for. Already to the point, the boy took a step backwards, shaking his head. "No..." He whispered, suddenly overcome with a longing to be held by someone, comforted. Raising his voice slightly so Shadi could hear him, he shook his head faster. "Please, no! This isn't fair! I suffered most of my life before, and then I found that not even in death can I truly be at peace! I can't go back there..." A sob escaped from the boy, making his entire form shake. "I c-can't..."
Shadi was unmoved. "Yet you know that if I gave up trying to send you back there-- if you were free to live again, you wouldn't be able to fit in. You have seen and felt the pains of death, and what's after. Never again will you be able to live as you once did, and even after trying to get by, you will only die again. You know, as a mortal, there is no true way to fully escape death now. Just accept your fate." He said, his words clear and firm. It was clear that Ryou was agreeing with this, looking as though he was going to cave in to Shadi's words.

"But h-he's right..." Ryou choked out, looking submissivly at the ground. "I won't be able to really live again. Everything will be tainted... I know what's at the end, and that that's all I have to look forward to."
Atem gritted his teeth in anger. "Don't you dare think that, Ryou!" He shouted, hands clentched into fists. "Think about being alive for what time you have left! You have a chance to live! What some people wouldn't give for that thought!"
Bakura sat up, just regaining feeling in this body again. When his spirit was in one part of the Shadow Realm and his body in the other, the two halves of him automatically reached out for one another and connected. Getting to his feet, the first thing he noticed was Ryou standing a little bit away from him. Bakura was the closest to the boy, Kira and Shadi a bit to his right. No trace of surprise was on his face, since he had actually expected something like this. Bakura was sure he'd rather have Ryou alive than dead again; he couldn't do without a hikari, and it was better to have a real one rather than a false.
Eyes narrowed, Bakura semi-glared at his hikari, oblivious to Shadi. He stepped towards Ryou, holding out his hand slightly, which Ryou automatically took, knowing that was what his yami wanted. Bakura was glad to see that even after all what had happened Ryou still feared him, which meant Ryou still obeyed him. Even more than before, knowing that Bakura could kill him. Voice smooth and calm, Bakura drew the boy closer to himself, noting how Ryou seemed barely more than a wisp in substance, almost as though he wasn't there. "You won't listen to what he says, Ryou..." He murmured, the boy clinging to his chest. "You never were meant to die before. Your place is with the living. When I get the Millennium Ring back, I can make you forget what happened when you had been dead... Would that be better?" Bakura smiled coldly over Ryou's shoulder at Atem, glad that he was able to fool Ryou into comfort so easily.

Kira dident trust bakura but as long as ryou was calm for the moment she dident care "Atemu is right ryou.Not everybody is given a second chance at living."
