All I can think of is more air. And if you play on the edge of your mouthpiece, you should probably play with more of it in your mouth. That's really helped me.That and you might want to drop your jaw some, and open your throat up more. It allows for a deeper fuller sound when playing loud.
Yeah, that helps too, especially for low notes. (But not when you're all sick, like me...D: My throat hurts a lot, and if I did that today in band, stuff probably would've come up. >_< )really? my section leader (in wind 1) said that ur mouth doesn't move because it makes ur sqeak (i think i spelled that right) it's mostly about the amount of air u breath through ur horn? because u ahve to have a um....wat did he say? um....well me 4got but he said that wen u play high notes not to tense ur jaw and wen u play low notes not to loosen the jaw it's mostly the amount of air u breath through or something like that lol
Well, lowering your jaw doesn't necessarily loosen it, it gives more room for the reed to vibrate, and so does having more of the mouthpiece in your mouth. More air for low notes does help, though, because the air has to pass farther through the instrument, but if the air can't get past the reed well, then the sound won't come out.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I'm still sick. xd oh i get it sort of lol =)

Never tried it, I don't think I've had to. I think my breath capacity has gotten better since I've been playing for a long time.

If it is, I didn't know. xd No matter how hard I try to do that, I can't.well i didn't know it was possible until i saw one of kenny g's concert he showed that it was possible that he played a note and wen he needed to breathe he breathed by the microphon. me and my friends were like O.O

Okay, I Googled circular breathing (noooo, I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek >_> <_< ), and I found this. Technically it's for clarinets, but it's basically the same thing.
I'll try it out...eventually.
