The stantler's retort would be a simple one. Lifting his head, the Normal-type would stamp his hoof once fiercely across the ground, glaring down at the insect with eyes that seemed to glow. It was a simple gesture of intimidation.

Face suddenly blacking, the Gligar would move his arms up and out, holding them wide as a gust of wind picked him up by the webbed skin between his limbs. With any luck it would take him up and over the Shieldon's attack.
The Larpas would glare at the pair with death in her eyes as the Skarmory's beak broke her perfect skin. This was unacceptable. How DARE they touch her. Fury boiled in her belly as for an instant, the Pokemon turned a darker shade of blue, than purple, and then abruptly green. She had to resist the urge to obliterate the metallic quail here and now, but resisted. Swallowing her unsightly fury deep.

((Sorry to say, but that damage is incorrect.))
(19-8 )+(13-8 ) = 16 * 2 = 32 / 5 = 6.4 rounded to 6! Rock Blast connected! Snorunt takes 6 DMG! Snorunt is at 10 HP! (1/5 turns)
Oh dear. What was it about never bothering a sleeping bug? Perhaps he hadn't gotten that metaphor right... but he had better things to do that think about literary nonsense! Like assault the jerk throwing rocks at him! By throwing more rocks back at him! Indeed, the Snorunt yanked the rock that had smacked into him, stuck some pieces of snow and slit to it, and sent it flying back at Fluke. Perhaps not a traditional Rollout, but in the mountains, one did as one must.

Apparently, Alice's judgement wasn't getting any better. She stared at the Ralts, disgusted. She may have wanted t a touch of home, but she didn't intend to go about it like this. Carefully, she weighed her options. "Maddie, you got this?' she asked, hand on Vorpal's hilt.
The Blitzle bounced on her hooves, watching the scene with an odd glint in her eyes. >So... was he hoping to get... a-head in life?< she remarked, winking and doing an odd little dance. She laugh, and remark, >Seriously though, you're weird. Like, ten weird. But I'm up for a game or two!< Apparently, her bright and cheery demeanor was able to handle even the darker aspects of life. Or perhaps she didn't fully understand the situation. >Give me the orders, boss! I'll listen this time, really!<
Deciding to take advange of the situation, the nervous robot spoke up. "Start off with Quick Attack!"
All a-twitter with energy, she'd launch herself right at the Ralts in a full-body assault.

Alex Trevell
As the slugma plopped down, knocked out, a smile formed on his face. "Nice work, Pansear." Pansear enjoyed his victory, and the two continued forward carefully.
The cave was finally coming to an end, but what await them was yet to be seen. He braced himself, getting ready for what challenges would present themselves.
The boy was relieved when Koga landed a hit! It was a decent blow and the first they had landed! It gave him hope they could land more! "Koga try again!" the boy said.
He did it! A small victory but a hit nonetheless! The Lapras was not invincible! The pokemon began to fly upward once more. Up....higher and higher he went. Tucking his wings against his body he would dive trying to land another Peck on the water pokemon!

The Shieldon landed a hit! He had tackled his opponent a little too hard. But he was still standing! This was quite a fan. Feeling happy, he would gallop away once more trying to avoid whatever could possibly be coming. No, he really just wanted to make sure his new determined fan wouldn't faint just yet from his radiance!
As Alex continued, he would come across a large stone radiating electricity. If he looked closely he would see an engraving of a Magneton evolving into a Magnezone. This was it! The stone that caused evolution in pokemon that his Professor had sent him for! All he needed to do was take a picture and he could begin the journey backwards off the island and back home! However if he wanted to continue, he had reached the third ring!

Cosmic Crater
You've passed through many trials to make it this far, but at last you've reached it: the island's center. Before you stretches a massive crater, the bottom filled part way with rain water; but not all is as it should be in this place. The sky doesn't look quite right, and you can't tell if you feel lighter or heavier when you step. It seems like gravity is a bit off in this place, as clouds of rubble pass you by, orbiting one of three chucks of meteorite, each massive enough to create it's own platform. One chunk sits in the dead center of the crater, floating several meters above the ground, rock and debris swirling around it and forming a haphazard sort of path. Down ]below, nestled in the crater bottom, sticking halfway out of the water is the second chunk, looking stalwart, and probably wedged into the ground. Floating high above the others is the third and final piece of the meteorite, dancing near the stars, free of whatever keeps the other two in place. To reach that one, somebody would have to take the risk of leaping between hunks of rock.
Many paths lay before you, but only one will mark the next leg of your adventure...choose wisely.
[Choose one of the three paths-- middle, up, or down. 10/10 posts to complete. 11-20 and 1 are encounters]
The room was completely different from anything he'd seen previously. It almost seemed to not belong to the island, but threw him a bit off balance as well. Spotting the odd stone, he'd realized he'd reached his destination. Pulling out his snapshot camera, he took a picture of it and put it away once he'd confirmed it had taken.
Once he'd taken in his surroundings and gotten his bearings, Alex decided on going down the middle path.
(16- 1 + 7 - 15 = 7 x 2 =14/5 = 2.8 rounds to 3 = 3dmg) (No problem, I got a bit confused when I looked at it on the information center. Thanks for clearing it up and hopefully I got it right this time.) HP remaining: 13 Defensive roll for Fluke: -1
The attack would collide hard enough to actually damage the pokemon as Fluke would forget all about his own attack. The move missing it's mark as he would scamper back a bit. He hadn't taken too much damage, but, this was suppose to be a cake walk. Not only that, but ....as he slide a bit and one leg would touch cold snow so he had to move back to the top of the rock again.
He had been knocked a bit off of his perch.
He needed to get serious.
"Use, Fury Cutter."
Hire would call as Fluke would actually grin at the call. He had been waiting to hear that as he would streak forward with his claws glowing a green color. This time, he didn't try to avoid the snow as he dashes towards his opponent through it.

A kindred spirit in term of hating the cold and snow, he couldn't pass the Pokemon by. Thus, Hiro picked him up and took him out of the snow with the promise of letting the Pokemon decide where he wanted to go. Eventually, though, Fluke would choose to join him. A lucky break in a snowy mountain.

((Nah, I see where you got confused. Thanks for pointing it out; I'll clear up the wording. And you did!))
This was no war of attrition-- both sides where striking out with all their force, it seemed. Though one was, admittedly, quite a bit more defensive than the other. The Snorunt's bright attitude hadn't dimmed, mind you-- he'd asked for this, after all, and if he was going to suffer, he was going to have fun doing it. He'd shuffle back a bit, trying to get a better aim and put the Dwebble in his sights. With a bit of effort, he'd send another Rollout rock tumbling towards his opponent, but he had a feeling... it wouldn't be so effective.
As Alex continued through the crater, he would feel something hit him on the back of the head. If he turned around, he would see a metal fork on the ground. Where had it come from? As he took a few more steps, he would see the path split in two with a giant boulder shaped like a fork. He would have to choose either to go left or right. The left path looked shorter and the right path was weaving in an S shape and was longer.
As he walked he felt something hit him, rubbing the back of his head as he turned around. He didn't see anything, but looking down he saw a fork. All he could do was arch a brow in confusion. There didn't seem to be any source, but looking forward again, he saw a different fork. This only drove the confusion further. "This place is getting weirder and weirder..."
He took the right path, as the swerves would make it harder for forks and whatnot to hit him.
