"After. If I touch an object after an altercation, then that object will tell me all of its memories of what happened to it." Rin said softly, though she was obviously uncomfortable with this subject altogether.
Leo looked up at Daniel. "Maybe I should go with him....you never know, I might have a vision if I go there myself. I could disguise myself so that nobody can recognize me if I need to." Whatever he could do to help the situation, he would at least try.

"Leo, it would be terrible if you had a seizure," Daniel objected. "I can't relieve you if such a thing happens. Besides, the place has just burned down. The gang may still be nearby and, even if you are disguised, I do not want to put you in danger." If Leo came along, then Rin will have to be there to help him if his visions hurt him. Elsa and Asher might want to join as well, to protect their siblings. Such a group would draw attention, especially that of the gang of terrorists. "It is a mere fifteen minutes by car. I shall be back with a sample." With that, he walked out so he could get to his car.

Leo was about to object but he could already hear the sounds of footsteps dissipating in the distance as Daniel walked away. He wasn't going to stand by and be treated like a child, he was confident that he could help but the voice his mind said otherwise. I know what you're thinking. Don't do it. Trust him, he knows what he's doing. Stay put. Rin's voice was comforting but he could hear the underlying warning. He sighed and calmed himself, though he felt a little defeated.Rin was afraid that Leo would try to go after Daniel and knew what the possible consequences were but was glad when he gave up. "I need to meditate." she said quietly, turning on her heel so she could meditate in her bedroom. Elsa knew something was up with Raki, he usually jumped all over this kind of thing as soon as he heard about it. By now the boy should have been halfway out the door. She wasn't liking this new attitude.

Raki wondered just what his grandfather might pick up. He highly doubted any object would have a memory of his face, but he felt that he had to make sure the old man didn't pick up anything that would reveal too much. Wordlessly, he slipped out of the room to get to the arcade before his grandpa does. He brought his slingshot just in case he needed to do some quick replacing.

Elsa watched Raki slip out and knew she needed to keep her eye on him. "I'll be back, don't follow me!" she called to Leo and Ash as she darted downstairs to grab her real gun, something Daniel trusted her with a long time ago. Quickly loading it and making sure the safety switch was on, she darted back out to follow Raki, but made sure to stay out of sight and cover her feline ears so as not to draw attention to herself. Just where was this boy going anyways??Leo gave a soft sigh, feeling useless again but maybe it was better this way. Asher just got out of the hospital, he didn't feel like replacing that bed. "Well...what do we do now? There's not much we can help with at the present moment." he said to Asher who was hopefully still in the room.

Raki had to be very careful. He suspected he was being followed, which would pose a problem. By the time he shakes off whoever was watching him, Grandpa might have already found evidence and he could only hope it had no memories of him. Then again, why should he have worried? He had a mask and a change of clothes. For now, he needed to do something seemingly innocent.
Perhaps he should just go back to the cemetery and sit at his parents' grave. Whipping out his phone and sending a quick text to watch a certain old man, he got on the nearest bus to the cemetery.Asher had actually been outside the kitchen, listening on the conversation. From the sound of things, something was wrong with Raki. He seemed very tense. "I suppose the only thing we can do is take a reprieve," he answered as he entered the room. "I don't like where this is going."

Elsa cursed as she saw Raki hop on a bus that conveniently stopped just as he got to the bus stop. Luckily she wasn't far from the house and she had a feeling she knew where he was going. Elsa ran back to the house and unlocked her bike that was locked against one of the porch railings. She hopped on and rode at least a block behind the bus, it was a good thing she was a fast peddler.
Leo had been a little oblivious to what his brother was talking about. "What do you mean, what don't you like?" he asked softly, unsure of what his brother was sensing in the situation at hand.

No one he recognized got on the bus, so Raki assumed he was in the clear. Or not. He still had that weird feeling. How long should he stay in the cemetery? Perhaps he had goofed up. He should have been a better actor, eagerly going to get the evidence himself. At least then he wouldn't have to worry about his grandfather. Well, for now, he needed to get rid of that feeling of being followed. Some early dinner seems like a good idea."It seems like the world is after you," Asher said, clearly uncomfortable. "There's also something off about Raki. He seemed so proud of his missions, like he enjoys them, but he's off about this one. I don't understand."

Elsa kept peddling, making sure to not miss out on where Raki was getting off but the boy was sure persistent in his attempts to thwart her off his path. But she was stubborn, and that topped persistence any day. After a little while she noticed he got off at a stop in the middle of downtown and watched him head into an ethnic restaurant. "I know you didn't come out here in a hurry for dinner..." she mumbled to herself, keeping hidden in the bushes at a nearby park.Leo gave a little shrug, there wasn't anything entirely off about Raki that he could sense but his brother definitely saw something different.

Raki still didn't feel safe. Sending another text for someone to meet him at the restaurant, he requested a table for two and sat in the middle. Whoever was following him can't possibly hear or see much unless he or she came in. Quickly bored, he casually looked through the menu for something to eat, at least to pass the time. Something spicy sounded nice.
Long after his order, no one came. Strange... Had they known he was followed? They always did have their ways of knowing. He glanced at the bushes and wondered if they was someone there. He stared and stared, hoping to catch a hint of something off.

Elsa could see Raki through the window but he didn't look like he was doing much. She spent a few minutes just staring at him and then he started to stare right back at her like he could see her. Elsa could feel a little panicked feeling rush through her but she dared not move. Elsa, where have you gone? You heard what Daniel said, it's dangerous to be out right now. Rin's voice rang in her mind. Don't worry....I'll be careful. Raki ran out as soon as Daniel did. Something doesn't seem right about him.Rin couldn't argue with her sister on this, Raki did seem to be a little off and she wondered what he was up to. Raki, where did you go? Is everything okay? She asked, sending messages of the mind to his, hoping he would answer truthfully.

Raki was startled when he heard Rin's voice in his head. Everything's fine. I just needed some space, he replied, though he wondered how convincing it was. Rin, I feel like I'm being followed. I don't know if it's Elsa or some enemy of ours. I don't want to risk revealing the organization's location or leading the person to where Grandpa is! It wasn't a complete lie. Someone was following him. He continued to stare at the bushes. There was definitely someone there.
Something inside him then snapped. He was worried about his grandpa. What if he was ambushed? Or even killed?! The text he sent had been a warning text, but what if whoever got it took it even further? Fearful, he got up, left some money on the table despite not having eaten, and dashed out of the restaurant in the direction of the arcade. Rin, contact Grandpa! Make sure he's alright!

There wasn't a lot of time for Rin to respond about her sister following him as he told her to contact Daniel. I will contact him, be careful!! Rin had to relocate her thoughts once again to find their leader. Daniel can you hear me?Elsa watched Raki dart out of the restaurant and smirked. "Gotchya." she said softly, hopping onto her bike and pedaling about a block and a half behind him. Her suspicions were right, he led her right to the arcade. Once the entrance to the burned down arcade was in sight she sped up and blocked Raki's path. "What are you doing here!?" she demanded.

Raki had just been about to look for his grandfather when Elsa appeared out of nowhere to stop him. Well, at least he now knew who was following him. "I'm worried about Grandpa, of course!" he answered harshly as he attempted to move around her. "We have to check on him! If only I came sooner...!" A loud bang rang in his ears and his heart stopped. "Grandpa!" He pushed Elsa aside and ran through the wreckage, only to be swept off his feet, thrown over someone's shoulder, and carried off.Daniel had scarcely gotten Rin's message when a few bullets whizzed by him. He grabbed the nearest piece of wreckage he could find and made a run for the streets where he could hide amongst the civilians. The only thing stopping him was the panicked shout of his grandson nearby. Without thinking, he changed directions toward the source of the sound and swooped Raki up before continuing his escape. It was a wonder how the rain of bullets kept missing them.

Elsa wasn't convinced, Raki was here for another reason entirely but there was no room to debate with Raki as the bullets started flying through the air. She was too panicked to scream and started to run right into the arcade and saw Daniel grab Raki. She reached into her coat pocket and pulled out her metal nail, writing the word bulletproof into her arm, causing her skin to turn into the toughest material so that bullets couldn't pierce her. Elsa followed behind Daniel, protecting them from the bullets. "I put a spell on myself so the bullets won't hurt me, now hurry up and get to the car, this spell won't last long!!" She said, remembering her gun and taking it out, firing a few shots back at them.
