Leon Court" What, to make you go? Fine." He walked into the bedroom, grabbing one of Nikolai's special pillows. " You see everything in here? Things you've bought, things Nikolai's bought, it's all in here. Bring him out, go to the meeting, or I'll burn it all."

Leon CourtA lighter suddenly appeared in Leon's hand, a hiss heard as he flicked it on and a flame danced before him. " Try me," he dared, holding the fire dangerously close to the bag.

The fire reflected off the Sin's wide eyes in a horrifying manner. " O-Okay, okay!" he said, hands up. Damn, it wasn't like he could get his snakes out on time either. He really was pulled into a checkmate. Scratching his head, he pulled out his phone and texted Kiyaka to bring the meeting back. " You people and your constant need to move. Honestly, can't you learn to lie down and accept what happens?" he grumbled as he began to storm off, pulling Nikolai out of his sleep all the while and filling him in on what was to happen now.

Leon CourtPutting down the bag, Leon strode over and grabbed the phone. " The board meeting's over, there's no point in doing it all over again. Tell Nikolai he's going to an even worse place: the PTA." Evil flashed in his violet eyes as he let go and stepped back, smirking triumphantly.

The Russian froze at that cursed word, spinning around to show wide, frightened, lime green eyes. " Leon, don't do this!" Nikolai begged. " I-I know I've done bad things, but please! Even you know this is going too far!" All those angry parents arguing over why their child got a B on a test, and the long lines of people always wanting to argue why he should be a teacher or why their kids needed to learn sex-ed...!

Leon CourtOnce again, evil overtook Leon's aura. " You're going to go to that meeting, Nikolai. Or else I'll get rid of the mattress and buy a waterbed that is constantly moving to keep you awake. I'll toss out your pillows and buy cheap firm ones from Walmart. You don't even want to know what I'll do to your white noise machine and humidifiers."

Nikolai had seen the horrors of gulags firsthand, he endured horrible wars, he fought creatures that existed in the darkest shadows, yet this was the most horrifying. He could practically see devil horns sprouting from Leon's head! " A-Alright! Alright, dearie, you win! I'll go, I'll go! L-Let's just put those dastardly thoughts away, hmm?" he laughed nervously while slowly backing up.

Leon CourtLeon took a step closer, then reached for his briefcase and pulled out a notepad and a pen. " You better take notes for me. You can't skip out on this. If you do, I'll buy every Luna mattress cover there is and light them all on fire. Now get!" He pressed the notepad and pen into Nikolai's chest and shooed him.

The Sin squeaked with fright when the notepad and pen where shoved into his arms, and he disappeared in a poof of purple smoke. ~~~Two. And a half. Hours. That meeting was supposed to be one hour, but once they saw him, all hell broke loose. Parent after parent fought over who would get a chance to scream in the Sin's face, yelling that he corrupted their oh-so precious child, some more angry that he never called them back years ago. Of course, Kiyaka found it entertaining so she let it happen. Nikolai had never been so disgusted with life in general. He wanted to fall back asleep, but the fear of having his precious humidifier sold in a pawn shop kept him awake. And so he walked - plodded, really - into his home, too tired to teleport and tightly gripping a notepad filled with all the profane language used at him. It wasn't all bad, he supposed. Towards the end he managed to persuade the parents to direct their anger to the school board for daring to not fund the science department. It worked, and it looked like the next board meeting would have to redo what happened today. That ought to cheer that big oaf up. Seeing that Leon wasn't in the house's first floor, Nikolai assumed he was still holding all the bed supplies hostage and plodded upstairs. Ah, he could make out some light beneath the crack of the bedroom door. He grumpily grabbed the door handle and opened the door as he grunted, " I've got your oh-so precious notes, darling. And your dear board meeting has been rescheduled thanks to yours truly so-"

Leon CourtThe room was dimly lit by candles all around. It could've been a cliche out of a movie, but little things were special just for Nikolai. Instead of rose petals covering the floor and going towards the bed, poppy petals lay. Leon had taken them to a witch to keep the scent but make the sleeping properties toned down so Leon and Aysun wouldn't be affected. Instead of strawberries and cream, there was a bowl of cherries and dark chocolate-covered almonds, all used to induce sleep. There was so alcohol, no champagne, but two cups of soothing herbal teas brewed specifically to put people to bed. Even the candles smelled of a calming lavender and chamomile. But the best part was the bed. On the bed lay Leon, naked as the day he was born, with a set of pajamas carefully folded beside him. They were expensive luxury pajamas, a polka-dotted set by Marc Jacobs that he'd spent a couples months saving up to buy. Of course, the brand new sheets covering the bed cost a pretty penny, but none of it measured up to the box proudly displayed beside the bed. It had the word "Luna" pretty written on the side, but was empty. A glance back to the pajamas would reveal a remote laying beside them used to control the mattress until it adjusted to you, and then you could get rid of the remote. Leon smiled at his husband, propping his head up on his elbow and gazing at him with love and a little playfulness in his eyes. " Happy birthday, baby," he purred, the flickering candles well-illuminating his muscled, tanned body and doing nothing to hide a certain body part that hadn't been used in quite some time now.

Nikolai slowly lowered his arms as he looked around. What was this? Chocolate? Lavender candles? Tea? Leon naked? Raising a suspicious eyebrow, he took a step forward to look at the box, eyes widening slightly when he saw the label. " Luna? But they've all been sold out," he said, opening the box to find it disappointingly empty. At least, until he saw the remote underneath the pajamas. He stared at it all then looked at his naked husband. " I don't understand," he murmured with a puzzled expression to match. Wasn't Leon threatening to burn everything just hours ago?

Leon CourtLeon remained where he was for a minute, his smile faltering a little and a bead of sweat rolling down the side of his head when Nikolai seemed unable to understand. He moved off the bed, walking around to his husband setting his hands on the Russian's arms. " I know you don't like your birthday," he started, hands slowly slipping to take his husband's hands. " I decided that this year, I was going to give you a really good one. Surprise you, too. So I went online and bought you that thing last month because I saw it on your watchlist and knew you wanted it bad. Then I arranged for all the supplies to be dropped off and waited. I knew you'd be kinda antsy after I banned sex, which by the way, I didn't intend, but I guess it worked out, so I waited until you started something, got mad at you, and got you to leave the house so I could fix up the room." He paused, sheepishly looking at the floor. " You're not mad, are you?" he asked.
