Canas Renvall zeldagirl684 i guess that's rather unfair for 360 users though because it's like saying "anything made on the 360 can be ported to the ps3, but not the other way around." Even though I'm not buying it... FFXIII would like to speak to you. razz ah, i should've said games that use the ps3's potential can't be ported without a loss of graphic quality. even squenix themselves didn't disclose how they were going to deal with that. @elliot: stop. just stop with the instigating ~backhands~

@Zeldagirl: Elliot is a mod. I don't think there should be any backhanding done to him. The only people you can do that to is Bio (But prepare for pain) and Notte (But prepare for a different kind of pain; the dominatrix type xd )
Hope I don't get backhanded for that.
Just got back from Cali, and after playing both systems with my cuzzins, I've decided the PS3 is the way to go for me.
[EDIT]: Forgot, Bio isn't a mod anymore. Backhand him all you want. Ha ha, I kid.

Elliot Salem If I'm not mistaken, I've posted in this thread, just not recently. I do believe in the past in this thread, I've shown that I do have a 360. Seeing as how you said EVERY 360 OWNER HERE, I can safely call bullshit on it, because the fact that mine hasn't crashed, or needed to be repaired disproves your statement. By the way, I'm not just 'some random dude' so please don't address me as such. I do believe I have a name perfectly visible. -_- are you ******** kidding me right now? How utterly petty and stupid of you. Yes, and the fact that EVERYBODY ELSE who was RECENTLY posting, who I was REFERRING TO have all been talking about how their 360's have shat out on them means that you're TOTALLY right on the money that my statement is utter bullshit, because YOU'RE so ******** special. You're right, dude. I apologize. There's no problems with the 360 hardware at all. The 360's don't crash a lot, and that wasn't the whole point of the statement in the first place either. God, what a ******** idiot I am. The majority of 360 owners HAVEN'T had to send theirs in for repairs, or have them replaced. Everyone here is just making this s**t up, because we're Sony fanboys. By the way, since I've joined this guild, aside from your two posts just now, I've seen you post, like, twice. You're not a very active member, so please excuse the s**t out of me that I consider you a random person that pops in every now and then, and excuse me for not thinking of *you* when I made a generalized statement that 360's hardware is shoddy as ******** me a ********' river, kid. And while you're at it, get your head out of your a**. I'm sorry to find that the only time you feel compelled to visit the guild, and actually do some consecutive posting is just to pop in and stir the s**t. Just to smell it. Well, there it is. Enjoy.

@Thee Stranger: Wow, a little harsh? Last time I used such language with a mod (If I'm not mistaken, I think I called him an egotistical p***k), I got banned from the ******** Legend of Zelda guild...And the worst part is, that's not why he banned me. He banned me because he thought (Or somehow knew with proof) that I was a mule of a troublemaker in the past...I was banned under false pretenses...I could of have so totally taken their asses down! But I let it lie, cause I knew I would have still been banned for the egotistical p***k remark...

I'm sorry to find that the only time you feel compelled to visit the guild, and actually do some consecutive posting is just to pop in and stir the s**t. Just to smell it. Well, there it is. Enjoy. I'll start from bottom to top. You call me 'Kid' when you're the one who went on an up their own a** rant, because of one ******** thing that I posted, pointing out that what you said wasn't 100% correct. If I was just stirring the s**t, as you put it, I would get into an argument with somebody who doesn't resort to using a large amount of sarcasm, someone like Bio. I was a very active member at one point, but due to a few things recently, I've been forced to lurk more, as I'm unable to stay on long enough to keep a conversation going. The thing about the name, sorry if it sounded like I was up my own a** about it, but two things, 1, I'm a moderator in this guild, my name is on the front page, along with being about 2 inches from every post that I make, and even when it's being quoted. 'Some random dude' is just a form of disrespect. And 2, even with new people here, we will use their username when we address them. In your post, you never stated people who have recently posted about their 360's, until now. So, if someone, even months back, say they had a 360 in this topic, can take that as their being ignored. I merely pointed out that one thing you said wasn't 100% accurate and you blow up, on a little roid rage fueled rant like a little child who knows that they're wrong, they just refuse to admit it. @SoP; I'm not gonna ban him for something as stupid as him shitting his pants over one little thing I said. If it persists and drags on longer, actions will be taken. Not just by me, but more than likely Beta, resulting in my loss of status, but that doesn't matter. For all intents and purposes, right now, I'm just a regular member, as if I banned him, that'd be abusing power and the same thing would happen to me.

Elliot Salem You call me 'Kid' when you're the one who went on an up their own a** rant, because of one ******** thing that I posted, pointing out that what you said wasn't 100% correct. You call that a rant? You haven't seen me rant. And no, that wasn't how you put it. Now you're sugar coating it. Elliot Salem If I was just stirring the s**t, as you put it, I would get into an argument with somebody who doesn't resort to using a large amount of sarcasm, someone like Bio. Oh yes, Bio isn't sarcastic at all. Elliot Salem I was a very active member at one point, but due to a few things recently, I've been forced to lurk more, as I'm unable to stay on long enough to keep a conversation going. You seem to be doing perfectly fine right now. Elliot Salem The thing about the name, sorry if it sounded like I was up my own a** about it, but two things, 1, I'm a moderator in this guild, my name is on the front page, along with being about 2 inches from every post that I make, and even when it's being quoted. 'Some random dude' is just a form of disrespect. And 2, even with new people here, we will use their username when we address them. 1.) I know you're a mod. That doesn't automatically command my respect for you as a user, or a moderator for that matter. Sorry. Perhaps if you were actually involved with the guild outside of randomly popping in the middle of a tangent discussion and picking apart one of my sentences, it'd be different. Maybe if you were good at your job, like, say, Bio, and tried to steer this discussion back on topic, and actually contribute to it in some way, instead of being petty and nitpicking one small little general statement I made. 2.) I do. Elliot Salem In your post, you never stated people who have recently posted about their 360's, until now. So, if someone, even months back, say they had a 360 in this topic, can take that as their being ignored. I merely pointed out that one thing you said wasn't 100% accurate and you blow up, on a little roid rage fueled rant like a little child who knows that they're wrong, they just refuse to admit it. You didn't pop in and go, "That isn't 100% accurate", you popped in and went, "I call bullshit", meaning there was absolutely no validity to the statement whatsoever. Again, you're missing the whole entire point, even though the majority of 360 owners here have had problems. If you want to take it on literal terms, yes, you're right, not every single person who ever posted in this thread's 360 has broke on them. That's not even what I meant or was trying to imply, but more importantly, that wasn't even the point of the statement in the first place. I explained myself, saying that I was referring to all the people who had been recently posting, who were involved in this particular discussion (hence, every 360 owner here), who ALL had their 360's s**t the bed. The entire point being: The 360s crash a lot. Anyone who's capable of any sort of cognitive thinking would be able to read between the lines here and see that. Yet you still insist on picking me apart, based on a stupid technicality, which wasn't even the point here. So if you want to be petty and stupid, I'll throw the s**t right back at you, regardless if you're a mod or not. You can go back and sugar coat it all you want, but basically what you were telling me is that I'm full of s**t, or "bullshit". If you wanted to merely state that I wasn't "100% correct", you would have said just that. And that's all you would have said. And putting it like that would have demonstrated to me that you knew what I was getting at, and so I wouldn't have been prompted to explain it all to you. But if I chose to explain it anyway, you would have let it go after that. Instead you're like a little child who just has to have is own way. Okay? So you're right, and I'm full of s**t. Not every 360 owner who's ever posted in this thread has had to have theirs replaced, as proven by your existence. Even though I was never arguing that fact anyway. Happy now? Here's your ba-ba. Elliot Salem @SoP; I'm not gonna ban him for something as stupid as him shitting his pants over one little thing I said. rofl @ irony. Elliot Salem If it persists and drags on longer, actions will be taken. Not just by me, but more than likely Beta, resulting in my loss of status, but that doesn't matter. For all intents and purposes, right now, I'm just a regular member, as if I banned him, that'd be abusing power and the same thing would happen to me. Right. Because you'd be a big ********' hypocrite.

Going back to an earlier discussion, I don't ever remember reading or hearing about the PS1's and PS2's hardware breaking down a lot, or being faulty in anyway. At least, it must have not been as major as a problem as The Red Ring of Death to get that much coverage...I must have been one of the really lucky ones: I've owned 3 PS1s and 2 PS2s over my span of being a Sony fanboy, err, consumer, and none of them have ever crashed on me.
@Thee Stranger: One thing I will have to agree with Elliot is that it would be nice if you just addressed him as his visible screen name. People don't need to be commanded respect, but if you want any person to respect you, do unto others which you would want done unto you, or however it goes. In my case, I demand respect because I am super awesome. xd
P.S. EDIT: I've seen you rant: Link in space. rofl

Well, I have. And it was. The original PS1 model had to be taken off the market and completely retooled because it would break down and s**t out in a very short period of time. The games would start skipping, and you'd have to turn it on its side in order to prevent that from happening, but it would eventually start skipping again anyway until it completely shat out (My first Playstation did this, as my father bought it when it first came out). So they released a new model. Wikipedia Playstation Article Also, the first models (DTL-H1000, DTL-H1001, DTL-H1002) had some problems with printf() function and developers had to use another function instead. This series of machines had a reputation for CD drive problems—the optical pickup sled was made of thermoplastic, and eventually developed wear spots that moved the laser into a position where it was no longer parallel with the CD surface—a modification was made that replaced the sled with a die-cast one with hard nylon inserts, which corrected the problem. Wikipedia Playstation 2 Article An unknown number of early PS2 models suffered from problems reading DVD (silver bottom) discs; subsequently, a class action lawsuit was filed against Sony. Sony agreed to provide free repair or replacement for the faulty consoles and continued to do so until February 2005. You can find more about it if you look around. There were more problems than just that with the PS2, though. They would stop reading games, period. And often shat out. A friend of mine had to have his repaired/replaced numerous times, and I heard a lot of s**t about it on the net. Personally, I never had much problems with mine, aside from the disc tray door getting louder and sounding labored and haggard every time I opened or closed it. Oh, and sometimes my DVD's skipped, but for the most part, I had no problems. Then again, I didn't get PS2 until GTA3 and MGS2 came out, so I didn't have one of the older models. Anyway, I think Microsoft should put out a newer, more quality model of the 360 that doesn't crash all the time, like Sony did with the original PS1 & PS2 models. And StP, I would ask that you stay out of this please, unless you want to go ahead and lay out who exactly you agree with, and why. And he hasn't addressed me as anything at all, so I wouldn't complain. I know his username. Next time, maybe I'll use it. But the whole point of it was that he just popped into the middle of the discussion, out of the blue, and jumped down my throat -- after the fact. Even though he had no part in the discussion up until that point. I explained what I meant by it, yet he continues to say the same thing, insisting that I was completely out of line with my statement somehow, and completely overlooking the point that the statement was illustrating in the first place. And I don't see him often. That was the reason I addressed him as such. Other than that, he hasn't demonstrated any respect towards me, so why I should do the same for him is beyond me. Because he's a mod? Sorry, that's not how it goes with me. Browbeating me over a small generalizing statement isn't a way to gain my respect. Mod or not.

He may have not addressed you at all, but at least he didn't have the gull to address you as random dude. With a point or not, addressing a person as such is something that you should rise above. My whole point of displaying respect is to treat others as you would wish to be treated. If you want to be called random dude, then my belief is uncertain in this instance. But even if he did not show any respect doesn't mean you can't. Show him that you can be respectful even when he can't. And if he doesn't show any care for the matter after that, that's when you start blasting him. But the fact that you called him random dude right away leads me to believe that you are just as uncaring about respect as he is. But let me shut my trap now, cause I really don't want to start an argument on such a petty idealism as addressing a person by their (somewhat) proper name. And I got your point, so have fun without me.
