Classes dilute the system. The way you have this place set up, you can customize any of the existing races to do what you need to do. Prestige Classes just further diluted the system... Elites if fun, but it's way out of hand, at least the way you have things set up here makes for a clear power-cap that doesn't involve math the brings your stats up to the billions...

Also, how to Base hollow powers work? Like... what kinds of things can I make with them... and how many base powers do I start with? It's all very vague <<

The "classes" would be basic, Riev. Like, the allowance of certain things.
For instance, one would be like Kenpachi: the Butcher. A character with no techniques, and all brute power and strength. You are unable to release SHikai or Bankai, and you would have no Technique stat, but you would gain an additional 1 in your Reiatsu, Strength, and Stamina.
A prestige to that would allow you to release Shikai, and begin using specific kidou that enhance your physical body only, or Bakudou.
Those are examples.
And I won't if people say no, but the idea of Classes is to further allow people to be customized. There will be a "general" class, too, that has no advantages or disadvantages, but will allow you to later, if you so decide, to choose any of the Prestige classes to take.
That's what I mean by classes.

The powers are basic, weak, but you can have up to 3 custom ones. I believe I had written that somewhere...*goes to check*
But if you use all 3 slots to make 1 power, that 1 power can be pretty strong. Just realize you are a basic hollow, the highest rank a basic can be is C-rank, so the power will not be THAT great.
Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense.
Also, we start with like... Soul-Body Separation and Acidic Touch... and when hollows evolve into Gillians they get like Kumo and Negacion, right?
Or do we have to do some kind of training for hollowkin techniques?

No training necessary. You start with it.
But that doesn't mean you're GOOD with it unless you train. You don't start out as an expert in your ability.
Also, I'm going to start assigning roles to people for modship duties. Would anyone like to help?

I'd love too, but I'm usually only free on the weekends for any real period of time >> Military, free-time is very limited during the workweek.

How can you come into someone else's hardwork, declare it boring and then advertise your own? I know Lanny's not the type of person to bring the matter up, but that's about as grimey as you can get. Please show some respect. If I was still a mod I would have edited the link out of that post.
