Lol well I havent posted in a while at least so now there are more pages than I care to look through haha... I'll just start off some random convo by saying that our football team sucks very badly, the onlny game we've won the entire season was the scrimmage.... and it doesnt even count! rofl

that's ok, the Gators lost 3 games in a row, the most recent being our own Homecoming. xp

We've lost our own homecoming for two yrs in a row now! XDDDD Really our school used to be a LOT better, I mean we had winning seasons, made it pretty far in the playoffs, we got excited about our team's games, all that, but that was 2 years ago..... Why? Our best players graduated and the ones who could successfully replace them are in 8th grade right now LOL. Oh well... At least I have my bf to make up for the suckiness. xp

heh. I don't like our team's current coach... urban meyers. he trains showboaters.

I dnt like our team's coach either.... he's not rly tryin to adapt to the palyers we got and change up some of the strategies and plays accordingly... :/ Which, if he were to do that, may actually result in a winning season! surprised

heh... welcome to the world of chronic leg-pains and anti-inflammatory painkillers... sweatdrop you are becoming more and more like me every day, Mang.

Yeah, I went to Target and bought some new shoes and some Dr. Scholl's inserts, so that sould help.

Really? I haven't noticed... but then, I don't actually, "know" know you, y'know? sweatdrop

On a not-so-related note, I suspect that I may have Asperger's. Mild, mind you, but enough to be noticeable. I looked up the symptoms/behaviors and they matched nearly perfectly with my childhood behavior, and an Adult Asperger's Test I took resulted in a 38 (32 and up means Asperger's is likely). Also, this chart's from a separate test:

surprised This is relevant to my interests. We are similar, aren't we? xp
(Just to make sure I saw the right one [because I once tried to embed directly from the site and it didn't show up right] you were mostly on the right side, yes? With a little on NT Social, Communication and Hunting?)

aye, that's right. I told you so.

I'm slightly more Neurotypically Social than you, and slightly less Neurotypically Perceptive, but we are otherwise alot alike.

The lines between the points on the chart are actually very misleading. They imply a connection of some kind, like the level of the lines themselves mean something, as they would in a regular line graph, but since questionnaires like that are not very reliable, they're really just making circumstantial data look cool.

I have had this wild and crazy idea running through my head for the past couple of days--and to save me from delusions of grandeur, could everyone please pop holes in it and maybe rip it to shreds?

I was thinking of starting my own springboard artist printing business. See, the thing is that I'm having a hard time finding a place that will print what I want for prices I can afford. Frankly, I could do most of it at home with a good printer, a cutter, a laminater, and a few other specialty craft tools, but it's impractical to invest in this kind of overhead for myself. So I was thinking of finding a partner or three to create an online service for young and talented artists--a place where they can set up a personalized and publicized gallery for ordering prints, art books, book marks, magnets, stickers, etc., but with less hassle and more exposure than they would get at the HUGE websites like CafePress, Etsy, DeviantArt, and others. It wouldn't be the sort of thing just anyone could sign up for--artists would have to apply and all the partners would have to agree that their art was marketable, that the artist could update somewhat regularly, and everyone would have to come to an agreement on royalties. But all that screening would make membership in my studio SPECIAL, and frankly I know a lot of artists who are very talented but just wallowing in the sea of amateurs all trying to find a gimmick to make them great. It's just that I know it would be SO easy to DO. I could probably have the whole thing COOKING in a year, with only $100 a month.

Problem is, I have less money than the starving-artist-cheezeburger-cat. I have $0 a month for ANYTHING. So please, destroy my idea so I don't keep vainly hoping it might happen.

are you ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you want me to tear your hopes and dreams of this down? because I am capable of shattering this idea brutally, beyond hopes of ever picking it up again, and I'd realy rather not do that if you realy are able to make it happen.

I believe in the possibilities, given hard work and dedication.

Yes. Yes I do. Because my husband won't. He likes to encourage me too, but it's dangerous. Right now, I'm bored. Work is boring. School is boring. And domestic chores are REALLY boring. So I start daydreaming about crazy things that I frankly have no business day dreaming about. My idea won't make a lot of money for me and would cost a lot and put even more stress on my ToDo list. Not that it will happen anyway because I don't have the money to make it happen. I want to be doing and helping and creating, but latching on to insane pipe dreams like this isn't the way to go about it. It'll just be a big waste of time and effort.

well, that's obvious enough. you don't have th money t start it, you won't be very successful even if you do, it's not like it's an incredibly new thing. and starting up a business is extremely hard, quite frankly.

imagine all the competition you'll have? big, proffessional, well-known competition. you could try to have competitive prices, but in the end all that does is deflate the already damaged economy. you'd actually be contributing more to the downfall of the market.

which is fine by me, I hate capitalism anyway.

but I imagine there would be ALOT of folks pissed at you and others like you, and you'd be getting alot of smack for it after the fact.

and that wouldn't even be fair, considering they will have hardly bought damn thing from you anyway. do you realy want to go through all that?

it's a stupid, useless idea, that will get you nowhere fast, and isn't even worthe pursuing. do something more productive with your life, like paying bills. you have to get payed, because you have bills to pay and mouths to fed; your own among them!

we all love you, that's why this is important. we all want your dreams to come true, but somewhere down the line there has to be a voice of reason. because some things just arn't feasible, and will only hurt you in the long run. and th short run.
