So, I just saw Mortal Kombat by Paul Anderson and...it's impressive just how bad (read 'Simplistic') the script is, even if the video game offered little material.
I now dread and want to watch the second one to see how my mind had warped it into being better than it presumably is.

I found the first Mortal Kombat movie to be fun (That or I'm just easily amused). Kinda reminds me of a Bruce Lee movie. Can't remeber which though. Something about an asian martail artist, a rich guy, and a serise of battles on a island. Besides you can't really blame the script. It follows the Mortal Kombat game most of the time. Sure some things were thrown in there like the Cage v.s. Scorpion fight. But that was needed in order to make it at least about an hour long. The first one I'd give 3 stars. The second one... well even I didn't like that one. It may be worth to watch once but never again. It was like playing a bad video game, in which the only thing that kept you playing was because you want to know how it ends.
Your opion and I respect that just felt like I had to say that.

Apparently all firearms featured in Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop are from Resident Evil 4. Even Jessie's and Brad's Sig P228 pistols seen in cutscenes turn into Leon Kennedy's "Silver Ghost" handgun in-game.
