 "Sounds exciting in a way. I feel bad that they didn't get out though. It should have worked." Maria commented to the story. "Although most successful escapes are based on timing." She thought back to some of the few times she had managed to escape.

Leva shrugged, "I doubt they'd have gotten very far." She answered, "Once you're deemed a slave, there's no freedom, only time between cages..."

Leva raised an eyebrow, "Oh, what would that be?" She asked curiously, inclining her head to the side as she spoke.

Maria looked towards the inside of her cage. "A promise to my parent's." Was all she was able to say without bursting into a rage or tears. Either one would not be good. "The only thing is I have to be out of a cage to keep that promise."

Leva shrugged, "Fair enough." She answered, for once not in the mood to pry. Inside she had her own demons to fight. Half of her yearned instinctively to be near her master. It was against everything for her to be this far from the one who owned her lamp. Yet the lamp was here and so she was anchored to stay. On the other hand she hated the woman and would rather stay far away forever. She sighed and leaned back against the wall, "Goodluck with it."

Leva shook her head, "It's a highly overrated skill, believe me." She replied, "The future is constantly changing. Even still, I can only do so by the power of a wish." She said simply with a shrug. "Why?"

I long to be free......  Looking up at the ceilning of her cage she could feel eyes on her. Knowing who it was she didn't look back. Turning on her side with her back to Kye's cage she closed her eyes. She hated where she was. She hated the fact that her freedom had been taken away from her once again. Would you set me free?

"I was wondering if you knew when I'd get out of here." Maria simply replied. "But I guess I'll just have to keep waiting, huh?" She sighed and hugged a pillow and looked around the shop.

A man entered the store with a woman at his side. They both were rolling crates containing identical nekkos. One of them was covered by a towel as though it would keep her calmer. The woman smiled and sighed as she hefted her crate over to the counter, "Hello, we'd like to sell two nekkos..." She said timidly, looking around the room.
But you can make me bow...

 Kye sat up on his bed as he looked across to the cage adjacent to his... the one containing the lycan girl. "Hey... are you awake?" He called to her.

Leva looked up at the woman's call and floated over to the two selling slaves. She tipped her head to the side, "Alright, I just need to see their papers and we can find an appropriate price for the two of them." She replied as she leaned against the desk.
