((yup, it is understandable, since tactical is a very useful type. still, I kinda wish i chose a different one. um, I know its tough/annoying to do learning posts, but i know you can do better than that. let the next one be better ok? heart ))

Nagisa watched Sora perform the jutsu, and while she managed to perform it, her technique had it's flaws. "umm, perhaps you should practice that one a little more before you need to perform it in battle. I'm sure you can iron it out on your own. Let me finish this one real quick, and then I can help you learn it ok?" and with that she looked towards the sky and closed her eyes. Concentrating as she performed the seals, and formed her chakra. She needed to concentrate this time, or it would be weak again. After what seemed a lifetime, she finally said "Raikou Jishaku no Jutsu!" and let it fly. Once again. a small cloud formed as if from nowhere, but unlike before it grew rapidly. Before long there was a massive dark cloud above their heads. A thousand thunder dogs snarled, as streaks of silver flashed across the cloud. Once more Nagisa reached into her bag and grabbed a senbon needle, and once more she launched it at the tree. The needle missed the tree completely, landing in a bush a couple feet away. After taking a moment to enjoy the beautiful cloud, Nagisa released the jutsu and watched it fade away. "I believe this one is almost chuunin rank, and it is certainly a useful jutsu. I'm sure you watched my seals closely correct? You need to concentrate on this one, don't just try to create it and let it fly. You will only get a fraction of your potential" She smiled to the girl. "Your getting into the big stuff now my friend."

((Next time try describing the jutsu more or go into more description of the process. You don't need to post again, but next time try to avoid "the first try was a success." or "the attempt ended in failure." Maybe go into any detail of what the jutsu looks like, does, or even smells like next time. I'm not looking for length as much as content. two smaller paragraphs that are interesting to read can be better than two long paragraphs that don't say anything. (not too short though!)
((Sorry for bein a pain, if nothing else this will help you write longer/more interesting training once you get into the higher jutsus (which take a lot of posts even with tactical) ))

((this next one should be fairly easy to meet the post min for, since you could describe the process of forming the cloud and then the experience of being the cloud for the first time.))
Nagisa watched Sora practice the jutsu. She had indeed pulled it off, almost injuring herself in the process. "Try to be careful with that one, it's dangerous for everyone in the area. You need to stay on your toes. Please wait while I learn the next one. Kumo Keba no Jutsu , which looks to be a scouting technique." She read out loud what the scroll said, so they both knew what it did. "A scouting technique. The user forms a cloud in their hands and infuses it with chakra. This tends to take time, and shouldn't be done in the middle of battle. The cloud then borrows the shinobi's consciousness and the cloud flies away. This little wispling of cloud is now controlled by the shinobi. the shinobi can hear and see everything the "cloud" does. Destroying it is very easy, physical attacks, ninjutsu almost anything can dispel the technique returning the nin to consciousness, but a horrible weakness this wisp does have is that if one were to use genjutsu on the probe it immediately dispels and the user is afflicted with the genjutsu that was used without even knowing it." She finished with a smile. that last bit would be useful information if she ever saw a "ghost" and she made a mental note of it before practicing the seals several times.

As always, Nagisa performed the seals one more time and announced the name of the jutsu. "Kumo Keba no jutsu" Her hands quickly moved from the handseal to carrying an invisible ball. She focused her chakra into her hands, and charged the air with it, a technique she had already learned which was used to make all "cloud" jutsus. A ball of mist began to develop between her hands, and before long she was holding a thick whisp. Now she just needed to figure out the final part, she needed to lend it her consciousness. She already had gotten quite familiar with her mind, as it was necessary for genjutsu, and that part wouldn't be particularly complex either.

Staring at the whisp, Nagisa focused her natural non-elemental chakra and then with a curious mental "twist" found herself feeling light. She was so light in fact, that she began to float away with the breeze! The body that was holding her before collapsed to the ground as Nagisa felt herself dragged towards the rest of the village. Smells seemed slightly stifled, and sounds were partly muffled, but it was all clear enough. what an experience being a cloud was! This was like being put under "kumo yotogi" except better! she had control over her own mind, and she still felt so free! After wandering the village, the whisp faded as if it was never there. Nagisa then found herself back on the hard ground, it seemed so much more solid now. Standing up, Nagisa smiled at her student. "You are going to love this one!" she said, still remembering the joy she had just experienced. "You'll probably be able to perform it much easier than most."

(OOC: Don't worry, I know how to deal with higher-level jutsus. It's just that I'd rather not do much more work than necessary or else having tactical as a shinobi specialty would be meaningless sweatdrop .)

Sora listened intently to the description of the jutsu Nagisa repeated out loud and continued to focus on the jounin as she practiced the skill. The girl observed the cloud-like ball that Nagisa formed and made a mental note to apply the way she performed other jutsus that involved cloud-making into this jutsu. Returning her attention to Nagisa after thoroughly analyzing the ghost-like wisp, the girl was somewhat surprised to see the dead-dazed expression on her friend's face. "Ermm, Nagisa?" Sora asked tentatively, hoping that this was just an after-effect of the jutsu, "Nagisa? Hello? Anyone in there?". The girl began waving a hand in front of the genjutsu-user's face and quickly progressed to jumping up and down while waving both hands . When her friend, finally came to, her boisterous announcement combined with Sora's natural clumsiness and the fact that the genin was in the middle of the jump, caused the blonde girl to fall flat on her butt on the hard ground. "Really?" the girl asked as she picked herself up. Without waiting for a reply, she promptly began training, excited to find out what Nagisa meant. [1/2]

The hand signs were easy enough and the girl made sure to utilize what she knew about forming clouds. The problem now, though, was she was somewhat to stuck on what exactly she should do with the misty have that was now floating in her hand. She knew she had to transfer her conscious to it, but how? Sora thought as she shook the mist-like jutsu about slightly, and then quickly tried the tactic out. While she wasn't a genjutsu-user like her friend, the girl knew a fair bit of genjutsu herself, so she wasn't a stranger to the concept of using chakra to affect the mind. After several tries, each one tackling the problem from a slightly different angle, the girl landed on the right one and, before she knew it, she suddenly felt herself drifting away with the wind. the girl thought, already hyper and excited at this new experience, . Very quickly, she began to drift up and Sora would have continued to revel in the experience even more if she hadn't remembered what she was in the middle of doing, and the girl was back down in a much shorter time than Nagisa's trial run. "That was fun!" Sora commented in her usual happy tone when she came back to, "How did I do?". [2/2]

Raikou Henge no Jutsu (Lightning Transformation Technique)
Description: This technique, while being a branch of Henge no Jutsu, allows the user to transform in a way they never dreamed of. When performing this skill, the user transforms into an extremely quick 'strand' of lightning. In this quick state, nothing is done slowly - everything is in a rush for the user. However, this strand of lightning is incapable of changing directions on its own. It can only change directions by bouncing off another object, such as a tree or a boulder, but the user is capable of bouncing off in any angle they wish to. It is not recommended using this technique in a field with little objects to bounce off of. The Henge automatically dissipates when the user makes contact with a living target. Being in a state similar to lightning, the user plunges completely into their target, and ends up in their physical state on the other side of their opponent. In addition to giving the target a painful electrical shock, this skill may or may not paralyze their opponent. Because of the fast speeds associated with this skill, the user will feel dizzy, confused, and often nauseous for some time afterwards.
Note: This technique can be used in conjunction with other jutsu, such as the Call of Lightning Technique, or the Lightning Clone Technique, to confuse the opponent. However, no skills can be used in this state.

After this one, if it's not too troublesome, could you also teach Sora whatever universal genin techniques you know sweatdrop ? As for the third chuunin tech, not yet. I'm still trying to decide on which one to learn for that.)

(OOC: Genjutsu is good, too. That's why I didn't specify the type of technique xd .)

Sora completely freaked out as Nagisa nearly crashed into her, stepping backwards so quickly that she tripped, stumbled, and then slammed into a tree herself. She had only managed to get past the dizziness and pick herself up when Nagisa met back up with her and gave out instructions on the jutsu. "Alright," the girl replied and immediately began working on the handseals. Really, the thing she was most scared about the jutsu was the sheer uncontrollability, the chance that she might hurt a friend while using it. Other than that, though, the speed and straight lines restrictions sounded familiar to the girl: it was like the Rokubi's speed. As she mastered the hand seals, Sora began to manipulate her chakra, following Nagisa's advice about using a specialized version of the henge style of chakra manipulation to turn herself into lightning. At least, that's what it sounded like Nagisa was saying. [1/2]

Finally, after going through the flow and hand seals several times, the girl felt that she got the hang of it. She performed the hand seals once more, this time to actually execute the jutsu, and then released her chakra. In a flash, the girl felt her entire body electrify, similar to the feeling she had whenever she became afraid, the feeling she had whenever the Rokubi tried taking over. Scared, the girl quickly canceled the jutsu, withdrawing all of her chakra into herself as she always did in such a situation to prevent herself from losing control. However, the feeling was simply a false alarm. the girl realized, embarrassed at how scared she had become, Her heart was pounding heavily and the girl could feel the nudge of her bijuu. However, she ignored the former and repressed the latter knowing that both were caused by unfounded fears and performed the jutsu once more. This time, anticipating the feeling, the girl allowed the jutsu to continue. Once more, she felt the split-second flash of her body electrifying before a completely new rushing sensation filled her as her new form raced forwards. In the next moment, despite being in such an open area, the girl felt herself hit something and quickly focused on bouncing to the side, away from Nagisa. The directional change worked perfectly and Sora continued to bounce a couple of times to get used to the sensation. Finally, the girl stopped the jutsu right after the third bounce. Still, even with such a sudden stop, she was already halfway between the tree she had just bounced off and the next tree. At least, that's what it seemed like. Like Nagisa, Sora left the skill dizzy and unable to stand still. Actually, she kind of had a hard time just telling up from down. At least she didn't feel nauseous. "I'm done, I think?" Sora announced to Nagisa... while facing the other way. Obviously, right afterwards, the girl tripped and landed flat on her face. [2/2]

(OOC: Yeah, sure, as soon as I find a taijutsu style I like xd . By the way, since when were we in a room? Heck, since when did training fields have rooms and doors 0_o ?)

Sora looked at Nagisa perform the technique with interest, noting all of the details of the hand movements and how the genjutsu worked. Because it affected multiple targets, Sora would obviously need to have the chakra focused into whatever she was trying to cast the illusion over and then, from there, have the chakra travel to those surrounding the object and affect how it was seen. Furthermore, since it relied mainly on sight, the chakra would need to be focused on fooling the eyes. the girl thought, Her plans done, she began practicing the hand seals while muttering the name of the technique over and over. As she continued with hand sign practice, the girl began working on having her chakra flow in the correct pattern. She used the chakra flow for the Fake Blood technique as a base and then built off of that, changing bits and pieces as she worked. Finally, feeling that she had done all she could in theory, the girl performed the hand signs, had her chakra flow in the correct pattern, and muttered, "Kokuni Arazu no Jutsu," as she released her chakra and initiated the technique. The change was slight but there: Sora's dog tags around her neck, which had the symbol for Cloud inscribed on them, now seemed to have Leaf's symbol etched into them instead. Keeping the jutsu in place, the girl held the tag up to inspect them and even turned them around to show Nagisa just to make sure that she had done the technique correctly. "Is this right?" the genin asked with her usual bright smile. [2/2]

For a moment, Sora actually believed Nagisa's act, and shrunk back in fear and confusion. She looked back at her tag once or twice, trying to figure out what exactly she had done wrong. It was only after the pause, when Nagisa mentioned "Konoha" that Sora understood her friend was simply playing. She breathed a sigh of relief as she released the jutsu, blushing quite a bit at the praise while she mumbled something about not being all that good.

At Nagisa's offer to hang out, Sora nodded and jumped up and down exuberantly, "Of course! Oh! And taijutsu! I need to learn taijutsu, too! I bet it'll be really helpful! But which one? Thanks for reminding me!" and before anything else could be said, Sora dashed off to the library do some research on the various fightning styles in her usual manner: buzzing full of energy yet maintaining enough control over her actions so she seemed like any over-energetic kunoichi.
