Ares rolled his eyes at Aphrodite. "I never came because all that would happen is we would fight."

Then he looked at Evermore, softly. He was surprised that she'd called him, of all things, her boyfriend. That was very unexpected. He fondly held Evermore close, not minding her unresponsiveness.

((Crazy scene going on!!! Sweet! And i know i know, i need to move on, sorry! I'm seriously getting too lazy...and my post was never answered, but no excuse, sorry!))

After the girls had told her they'd found nothing yet, Akira had started searching through the books and loose parchments with Kilala, taking up a seat in a nice comfy chair and buried her head into the books.

Hours had flown by without her even realizing, yet she hadn't gotten very far in her reading, too troubled by Evermore's sudden annoying behavior...She was conflicted, wondering if all this searching was really worth it anymore...

Before she knew it, the girl had fallen asleep, snuggled up in the chair with Kilala, though the feline continued to read, using Akira's hand to turn the pages.

She woke up at Aurora's voice and nodded slowly, agreeing.

Ever sighed and laid back against her bed. It felt wonderful.

She put her hand over her eyes and groaned softly. "What.... a day..."

She didn't know if she was talking to Ares or herself. As she laid her arms back on the bed, she hissed and sat up in pain as her forearms connected to the comforter on her bed. First the cuts on her cheek and now cuts on her forearms... she was a mess.

"Dammit... I should have had Aphrodite heal these."

She was looking down at her forearms.

Ares sat by her on the bed, conjuring up a set of first-aid set and silently taking her arm, looking it over. "It's not bad," he said. "I've seen worse."

But of course he had. He was the God of War--he could not simply go through life without ever having seen the horrors of battle, now, could he? After all, no matter what others thought, he would fight with the men (well, and women) he favored. he would not leave them to fight alone.

Quiet, for once, he reached for the supplies and set about cleaning up Evermore's wounds.

Ares glared at her. "Do you want to become infected? I think there's something calmer that I could use on your face, but you will be infected if your wounds aren't cleaned. Especially the ones on your face." He took her arm, gently, and began to wrap it in thin gauze. "Don't worry. No scar will remain."

Ares chuckled at Evermore, shaking his head and taking her other arm to patch it up as well. "Sorry. You'd have to visit Asclepios for that, m'dear. We have control only over our own domains. I do not know if Furies can heal themselves, but I know I can heal myself. It is harder, though. Takes more time." He began wrapping the arm in gauze as well.

He laughed in response and took out the more gentle cleanser, then looked closely at her face, gently rubbing it in and getting her wounds uninfected. "School, huh? Was it that exciting?" He, of course, had never been to school.

Akira followed, signing and crossing her arms.

"Ya, if she'll want too...At this rate, it's gonna be a big fat no, though..." she glanced at Kilala, then made up her mind when the demonic feline nodded.

"Ok, i'm gonna go see Evermore. She's probably in her room, so i'll go talk to her, try and convince her to come along tomorrow!" with a wave and a thank you, Akira and Kilala left Aurora's and Caroline's room, heading for Evermore's.
