I guess I will go first, since I own the gem that opened it up...wait here, I will call up if it is safe for you to come down...
*Summer lit her wand like the others and crouched down on all fours...she went to take a step with her left foot, but found no landing space. Instead, she slid along like on a giant brick slide, twisting, twirling, falling...screaming...*
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
THUD!
*Summer had reached the bottom, landing on her back, smacking her head against the concrete floors. Her wand had extinguished itself during the fall when she couldn't concentrate on her wand. She stood up, rubbing her head with her left hand and looked around. She couldn't see anything...it was too dark...*
Lumos Maxima!
*The room lit up at once. Summer stood there, stunned...*
Kamalia, James, come on down here!

Katie bursts into the room, panting, and runs up to Kamalia and James. "Summer? Are you down there? [[whoa this took a surprising twist]] Oh my goodness! I'm coming down!" Katie says. She crawls in. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Her back hits something hard. "Stupid stone floors," Katie mumbles, getting up and brushing herself off. "Lumos. Whoa....." Katie is awestruck.

:: Follows Summer and James down the Tunnel! Once finally landed brings wand back to the side of my body and at the ready and looks around. Looks at Katie after hearing her come down also and smiles.:: "Everyone ok?!?"

*james crawls into the opening with his wand in his pocket*
after sliding down the twisting twiling slidey thing james gets up and pulls out his wand " Lumos Maxima" "there we should be able to see alot better with all of us lighting our wands"
"care ful now we have no idea what lays ahead"
((ooc hey rayne if you just walked into the common room you would notice that the snake statue has turned into a secret passage way and thats where we all wenht ))

"What is that?" Katie asks, pointing to the large thing in the middle of the dark room. "It looks like it's covered in black vines..." Katie says. She moves towards it, but her foot is caught. She looks down and gasps. "No one move!!! This place is crawling with Devil's Snare!!"

"Don't panic, and be really still." Katie flicks her wand and says,"Lumos Maxima!" pointing her wand at James. The Snare retreats and James is freed. "Be still, James. It's still all around you. Kamalia!" Katie screams, seeing the Snare wind up her back and towards her neck.

wait doesnt devils snare not like warm dry places in the sunlight?
so wouldnt fire be a good way to destroy it?

*Summer whips her wand towards the Devil's snare, and shouts*
Lumos Solem!
*The Devil's snare releases everyone, including herself who had had her legs and half her waist wrapped in the vines.*
Everyone alright? Any major injuries from the concrete? I think I split the back of my head...
*Summer says rubbing her hand over a particular spot, where a small amount of blood appeared on her index and middle finger...*
