I need a reason to still be a member of Gaia. Its been getting kinda boring for me, because nothing is the same from when I first joined.

Lord Excelsior I need a reason to still be a member of Gaia. Its been getting kinda boring for me, because nothing is the same from when I first joined. Help. -whimper- The way to avoid boredom on Gaia is to find something to do. The beauty of Gaia is there is always something to do. I was going through the same oh god I'm become bored quick, I need something to do or I'll quit! Then I found Seth and Trisk's thread and am now questing for winged anklets in dedication to my lord and savior, Eirmehz. So all goes well again. So basically, find something to do. There's always something. Guilds, Games, Forums, Questing, Exchanging, Work on your Profile, create a user event/project, etc. There was Gaia Trivia... but `dan's been off lately. Makes me sad.

I remember when I used to fish for hour on end, that was fun. Then the admins changed the fish catch system, after that, fishing became too standardized and boring.
Casino is just that, a casino. Slots are random, and hardly anyone talks in chat. They claim that the odds in poker are not rigged, but I highly doubt that after collecting my own data.
Forums are my last resort. Since I have joined, General discussion has lost almost all serious content, and has become a box of satire with a hint of elitism, just like ED has. Chatterbox has some good hangout threads every once in a while, but the chatterbox is just that, the chatterbox. I tried some of my luck in the GCD, but nobody seems to respect you there unless you have been a reguar for a long time.
Entertainment is nice, but I could go on any other forum in the world and find those forums.
Roleplaying I still love to do, but its hard to find a deticated serious RP that does not have an entire page devoted to the rules of being literate. Since when did RP become a colab fiction novel? I want to RP, not write, I do that on my own time, not on Gaia.
I guess I could quest, but I hold a bit more meaning to my pride then typing "B-U-M-P" over and over again. Or maybe I could open up a minishop, but there is nothing I could sell. All the gold is in art, and I can't draw to save my life.
Creating a user run event sounds fun, maybe I'll take a crack at that.

for my own personal reasons, i'm quiting this guild. i'm not active enough or motivated to continue here. i have a higher responisblity in other guilds that need my attention more.
this was interesting for the most part, but i'm already intune with what happens on gaia as it is. i don't need to listen to it like i'm reviewing it. sorry, and goodbye
