Vaihingen "No, I suppose we aren't. Off the court we do get along most of the time, though." She shook her head when she saw Kura was awake and heard his reply. It might not have been intended to come out the way it had, though. "I thought you were asleep there." she said "But of course, seems no one ever does that here." "Well, I'll gladly take up some lodgings in the male dorms, and consider me contactable whenever you need my services," Charles said to Pale, finishing with a partially over-dramatic sweeping bow. Kura "Colorful only in knowledge and skill, but don't classify me Charles-dono...tis never appreciated." He slowly turned his head, and despite the darkness, his golden eyes seemed to glow through it all at the man. Kura didn't have anything against him, and no malice was in his eyes, he simply didn't appreciate being referred to in a general sense. "And my sincerest apologies to you, sir, for making such a classification before I even knew your name, though you know mine... and my knack for assumptions." The Chauffeur was so used to life on Kami Kojima, where everything had its place. This person was evil and had to be killed, that person was actually one of the Angel of Eroticism's harems that wasn't to be used as target practice for the Black E-Mailer... But things were different here. Felicia Pulling nervously on a strand of her hair, Felicia stepped back, stumbling over a few random things in the process, but that was just her being an idiot. The pale blue hue of her eyes caught the moon's silver glow, and made her look almost unnatural. A look of innocent bewilderment was fixed upon her face, and her head tilted ever-so-slightly to the side. What's going on? "Christ, they just pop up all over the place, don't they?" Charles said with a smile, and giving the newcomer an small acknowledging bow. Hey, he may have been the child of international thieves, but he still knew to be civil and polite; there was no such thing as too many bows. Turning back to Pale he asked, "So, before I'm shown where I'm to be staying, what is there to do around your clan lands? Any sort of festivals, ceremonies, tournaments?"

"Quiet Stix I hear voices." she spoke quietly to the horse, who could not pass up the opportub=nity to lagh at what she just said. Don't go walking around saying that to just anyone. Hearing voices is not good. Wait... I hear them too. I've been around you too long. Humans! Kat did not respond to that. The horse walked quietly till she saw the people. Kat remained far away and practically out of sight. Perhaps they were not friendly. She needed to be cautious.

Kyol kept up his little game of melding with the twilight shadows that were being cast across his path by the twilight illumination. He passed the lake without incident, not really even noticing the person there. He continued at a somewhat slow pace, "This place seems pretty nice. I guess it would be a welcome change to stop wandering for once. Gotta love this forest, nice tall trees, and lakes. Hell, two people just got married, gotta be somewhat stable." he said to himself. Since he usually travelled alone, he often talked to himself as he walked, just as a habit.

The horse turned around. There was someone behind them too. Kat turned and saw the lone wanderer. She had no where to hide, so she just sat on Stix and waited for the man to aproach. Her cloak covering her blonde hair. She looked a bit formiddable in that state, it was a protection thing. she was less likely to get attacked that way. The man however did not look belligerant.

Kyol was still shadowmelding for practice, disappearing into the shadows he walked into and reappearing from them as he walked out. He wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings, his thoughs had started to wander. He did however see the person on the horse. He tried to get a better look at her, but her cloak did a pretty good job of hiding her features, like his would if he bothered to put the hood up, he thought with a smile. He stopped shadowmelding and stopped walking, to lean against a tree a few meters away, he made sure that he was in a shadow just in case, he didn't think it likely that the person would attack, but if they did, he could use it to escape. "Greetings. It's a fine evening, might I ask where you're headed?" he asked.

"Reaper is organizing some tournament tryouts if you're interested. Other than that, there's not so much to do. Wait," she paused and grinned "There's always the bar, open at any hour. Would you like to go there?"

"Yes it is a fine evening. I have no clue where I'm headed. I had not thought, just as long as its not where I've already been. You?" she removed her hood. The twin blonde braids came to her shoulders, framing her oval face. Gray eyes scanned the other person warily.

Kyol laughed, "I understand that philosophy very well. I'm headed in general to the men's lodgings of the Black Amber clan. I was searching for my stuff," he gestured to the sword, bow and cloak, "i was invited to a wedding earlier as I just got here, and didn't think these would be proper for the occasion. Perhaps in hindsight, hiding them in a tree wasn't the best plan, but it seemed like a good idea at the time." He shrugged.

She laughed whole heartedly. "Well I hope the wedding went well. What is this Black Amber Clan?" she asked. Having never heard of it, her curiosity was sparked. "And why would the men be lodged seperatley from the women?"

"It went well as far as I could tell." Kyol said, he shrugged out of the pack he was wearing on his back, setting it on the ground. "The Black Amber Clan is something of an army in a way. We are more just a clan of people drawn together from different walks of life." he shrugged, "it's one of those things that's kinda hard to explain. From what I've seen, all the people here have quite varied histories, and simply live in the same area, spend time with each other, and such. As for why the sepparate living quarters, to be honest, I have no clue." He gave a comic shrug, "Like I said, I'm kinda new here. I met a person in the clan while I was wandering near here and they invited me to join. They didn't mind that I used to be a Shadowdancer, so that automatically gave them a few extra points in my book."

Fae sat on a rock, imbedded impossibly in the soft sands of the beach. She dangled her bare feet, the soft sea winds making her white kimono swish around her ankles, and the feathers on her wings flutter. She lifted her head toward the horizon, enjoying the feeling of the wind against her face.

Kura looked at the stars still as he spoke. "I hear more than most can...my name is Kurayami Odokemono...tis a pleasure I'm sure." He closed his eyes slowly and then hopped from the rock...more floated it seemed though. He landed and bowed his head to the two. "Search me out if you're ever in need Charles-dono...Miss Pale-dono, I'm sure you'll find me again...you have a knack for it." He turned and began walking off slowly, his steps leading toward the woods, he felt like walking to somewhere...he wasn't quite sure where yet though.

Matthew had gotten lost again, oh well, it was a nice place to be lost in. The homes he had before this place were all in bustling towns, or dark swamps. He could not come out, for fear of meeting the same fate as his parents.
Matthew sat down on a stump, the tree had fallen due to natural causes. He looked around the moonlit forest. It was nice here, he would stay for sure. His eyes watched teh fireflies in the dark. As he pondered to himself.

Would you like to go there?" "A good drink is always fine by me," Charles said with a laugh. "I would be delighted, and it could give me more of a chance to talk to you; get my bearings and such." Charles my boy, you keep talking like that and you'll seem waaaay to flirtatious. What would the Sex Goddess do to you then?

"Well then! Follow me! It's right near that clearing, the wilderness connects everything." She took his hand and started towards the bar "I have to ask, do you drink?"
