She looked to Vivi and giggled, blushing a little.
I don't think I'm that good. look at DiVinci, Michaelangelo, Rafael. They were good. I'm an amateur.

"Gah," Vivienne was stunned, "Michaelangelo and DaVinci would have said the same that I have. You are an artiste. Never say that your art is not wonderful."

She shrugged down.
I suppose you can say I'm quite self conscious of my art.

Having been an extremely self-concious artist herself, Vivenne could understand. "Art is a form of creativity. Eachperson has their own style that cannot be copied. But you are a very talented artiste, Rima." she said, putting a hand on her friend's shoulder gently, not wanting to make her mess up. When she took her hand away, she rested her arm on the bar counter top again.

Rima had stopped moving the charcoal on the page when Vivi touched her shoulder. She looked at Vivi with awed eyes, then those eyes changed to happiness. She got up from the stool and stood on her tippy toes, hugging Vivi, careful not to touch her skin.
Thanks for understanding. People don't get us artists most of the time!

Vivienne laughed a little. She hugged Rima back. "Artistes are hard to understand, but if you do understand them, many worlds are opened to your eyes." she said, lamost sound prophetic. She noticed that Rima was careful not to touch her skin. She pulled her gloves up on her arms higher and wrapped her cloak around her shoulders.

Rima sat back down in her chair and swung her feet around quietly. She was lost in Vivi's words, thinking about her family. Alram, Arashi, and Raine were her family, but didn't listen to the world around them. Arashi was locked in her lab, Alram was far away and Raine was always asleep. Rima felt as if she was the only one looking to the world around them. She might not be the strongest, far from it, but she seemed to be the only one with common sense without over thinking things.

Vivienne closed her eyes, humming a strange tune softly. She was relaxed and calm, for once. If only this would last forever...., she thought somberly.

Rima snapped out of her daze and looked at her, drawing her charcoal from the page.
That's beautiful Vivi

"Hm?" Vivienne asked, the soft tune of the lullaby swirling into the word. She looked at Rima, her ice-blue eyes, surprisingly, warm.

Your lullaby. It's beautiful
Rima was truely enchanted by the humming lullaby.

"Oh." Vivienne said, she was rather stunned herself. It was just an old lullaby her mother used to sing. "It'just something my mother passed down. I forget the name, it's been so long." Her eyes suddenly clouded with what looked like pain and longing, but it was quickly cleared away by her faint smile. "I'm surprised you like it. It was orignially created as a funeral song for the LeFrenaires, but my mother thought it was too sweet to be a funeral song." Vivienne started humming again, this time adding soft lyrics in a mesmerizing voice. " Le soleil a réglé sur le du soir drôle, La lune s'est élevé pour prendre l'âme, De l'a passé qui est allé, Pleurant un-non, il y aura la paix dans leur coeur, " (( The sun has set on the evening droll, The moon has risen to take the soul, Of the passed who has gone, Crying a non, There shall be peace in their heart, For the journey has begun its start. ))

Rima closed her eyes and listened as Vivi sang.
Well, your mother was right. It is way too sweet.

Vivienne stopped singing and returned to her humming of the song. "It is only too bad 'zat I had to sing it at her own funeral. It was a very sad time for 'ze LeFrenaires when our mo'zer died...." her accent coming back into her voice after singing the lyrics in French, she sighed.

She took a small sip from her glass and her eyes glazed over in memories. She remembered when she was at Alram and Arashi's mother's funeral. Rima wasn't their biological daughter, but was treated just the same since her father had left her for dead. They were changed by the same vamp after he hadn't had his fill with Alram. Rima was 16 and Arashi 17.
