I would say the wings came from another image...and yes, are edited in.

Yeah, the wings are from either a Revolutionary Girl Utena or Esca Flowne picture. I vaguely remember it. I'm pretty sure it's from Utena though because the expression looks familiar too. *runs off to find the picture*

Huh. It that entirely legal? I paid her 5k for her to draw the commish...but half of it apparently is only edited. It's a fairly close version. I also thanked her and mentioned how well the wings looked. She never once mentioned that it was edited in. Besides the wings..even the woman's pose is the same. Her arms are held the same..and everything.

Here's her thread...lookie at her samples.

I'm kinda glad that I'm not wrong in assuming there was something odd with the picture. At the same time...I dunno neutral
