Lolita had been sniffing around for food for some time now. She was bored of leaves and vegetables, her tongue was waiting to taste some freshly killed meat. With her nose close to the ground she was getting stronger scents of an animal near by. Her guess was a reindeer but she hadn't seen many animals around here to say for sure what lurked around. The smell was spread up a tree to the right of her, obvious to her now that she was sniffing deer urine. She stepped back to shake off the smell when she saw the animal up front, no more than 5 maybe 6 trees away. Staying still she listened for anything else nearby and caught the sound of paw steps, not belonging to just one creature. She crept closer forward keeping close to the ground in shadows of the trees. The form of modifoxes to shape as she squinted hard. It seemed like she was beat to this piece of meat this time, unless they left any scraps. She strayed left of the modifoxes to stay out of the way, hoping it would increase her chances of not being seen. Those hopes were snapped as she did the same to a branch beneath her feet. Both the sound of the break and her small wince at the small sharp pieces of wood pricking her paw. She froze still waiting for something to happen.

Kekkon had spotted the movement of another fox nearby before she had even snapped the twig, and the unfamiliar scent told him that she was foreign. When the twig snapped however, the deer became spooked and made ready to dash away.
Spotting (or rather, foreseeing) the attempted escape of their prey, Kekkon immediately lunged at it from his hiding place and clamped onto the animal's throat. Though not quite full grown yet, he still had a lot of strength and managed to hang onto it while trying to use his weight to throw it off balance. Hopefully the others would come to assist him quickly. After all, he had never before tried to take down anything so big on his own. Heck, just earlier they were hunting rabbits!

Sangre had left after seeing Konton and Frenka. She was running. Possibly after something but she didn't know. The scout was having... well, issues. As she yelled at her self for anything she had ever done, she almost ran into Kekkon. She hadn't met him, but the fac that he was going after a large deer made her skid to a stop.
"Need help?" She said, leaping onto the deer's back and digging in her claws, drawing blood.

"Ank kyu," he replied back, his jaws still clamped onto the deer's neck. With the help of the other fox the two were able to pull the deer down onto its side as he slowly suffocated it. (Not yet being strong enough to break such a big neck.) "Fellow tribe member I would assume?" he said after the deer had stopped struggling. Blood was dripping down his mouth, but it just blended in with his fur pattern. "My name is Kekkon."

Seika sat on the sides observing Kekkon's techniques. They were actually very good for one his age and size. When Sangre emerged from the shadows of the forest, she decided to just casually break the deer's head to kill it quickly. It may have stopped struggling, but that didn't always mean it was dead. She trotted over and picked up the deer's head in her mouth. Her jaw muscled tensed as they clamped down, forcing the deer's skull to cave in. Eventually, there were several very loud, evident snapping sounds that ensured that it's skull was broken. Obvious proof that it was dead.
She then flipped her head to the shadow in the trees, a female by the looks of it. "Alright, you can come out now." She said.

Lolita felt guilt as she realized she could have cost these modifoxes their meal. Lucky for her the younger modifox was ready and fast, surprising her. After another modifox joined in she thought it was time to leave them to it and thought about where to head to next.
She heard the call from nearby. One of the group had spotted her and wanted her to come out? Feeling almost defeated in her stealth she crawls closer into the light. She stood, adjusting her pose to look confident in herself, while taking a closer look at this modifox and the ones attacking the deer. She was unsure if the modifox was friendly or not so she chose not to speak.

Kekkon turned his attention from the scout and watched as Seika crushed the deer's head, quite impressed. He then looked over at the newcomer. "Ah, you must be the breaking twig," he said with a small smile. "Welcome. May we ask your name?" Though she attempted a pose of confidence, he didn't really believe that she felt that way. After all, she was on foreign turf facing four other foxes that dwelled there. A rather precarious position to be in really.

Sangre nodded to Seika. "I need to remember that." She turned the female who had appeared. She sniffed and didn't find any danger on her. "Hello, new commer." She said, bowing her head slightly.

 exclaim exclaim exclaim Akatsuki Announcment exclaim exclaim exclaim
Okay, Shi and Sasuke are okay for the time being~! Yay~ 8D
First thing first, all new foxes who are coming into the Akatsuki Tribe, I don't know who is coming in here officially, so please send the application form to this mule :3 The form can be found on the first page.
These foxes are the ones I think are coming in. Just PM this mule if there's any errors. Otherwise, send the form so that we can approve of the position and every other aspect of this XD; Just remember: THE HUNTER POSITION IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL THE OTHER POSITIONS ARE BALANCED OUT!!!
Foxes:
Shadow-san -Status- Form sent; Position yet to be determined (Scout???) Danag -Status- No Form Sangre -Status- Approved, but not confirmed by Sapphy; Can you PM her, Mak? :3 Lolita -Status- No Form
Secondly, I think we have . . .
BABIES!!! 8D
I have talked to Makette and I think we have two kits coming into the Tribe~ Celebrating time~!!! >3
Thirdly, we have a . . .
TRIBE GUARDIAN!!! 8D

Yes, Akakumo, Elf's Guardian, is the first guardian of the Akatsuki Tribe and I think the first Guardain with an assigned tribe! More celebrating~! 83
Lastly, the Tribe's RP amount has gone down drastically (Partly of which is our fault >>) but Sasuke and I have an enormous plot up our sleeves as a few of you know. So, we're going to have this entire tribe have a part in it, though we're not going to give it all away till the very end 83 *Shot*
So this is the Current Plot where this tribe will be starting at:
FRENKA IS MISSING!!! D8
There are new tribe members coming in and Sangre is having children. Where is the Elder in this time?
He is Possessed by his Father's spirit and away from the tribe. He cannot control this demon that wants to kill . . .
So Konton is the leader at this time and is awfully stressed out, the pressure weighing her down. She knows the course of the future if they continue down this road. Burdened with all the things going on, she's finally come to the decision of letting the Tribe in on it.
The Tribe meeting has already ended and the objective is to find Frenka. Each Tribe member is to look for him.
But, there is another natural conflict: Winter is approaching fast.
The land is already becoming bitterly cold and the deciduous trees have lost their leaves. Snow is falling on the cliffs and to the North of the Tribe. The southern area is frosted over and the Sea of Sorrows has frozen with the ice being as thick as a foot or as thin as an inch.
Food is becoming scarce and the scents of the other members have been camouflaged with the moisture in the air. Fog is constantly blowing into the lands, making it hard to see and very easy for one to get lost. This makes everything much more difficult than it was already.
Right now, everyone is separated from one another and the fog is extremely thick. It is freezing and snowing at the moment and the foxes are thin to the insufficient amount of food, not to mention it's very hard to find right now. It seems more like a day in the dead of winter than in fall.
So, have fun with the plot introduction and the severely harsh conditions your Modifox battles against in this time while searching for Frenka.
(I am so nice amn't I XD; *Shotmauledkilledthrownoffacliffputintoawoodchipper*)

This weather was never what any fox would want to live in. I mean, this fog, the cold, chilly air, to top it off, you can't spill a single thing BUT moisture! It was plain insane! As yet, Frenka of the tribe had disappeared, with the news of him being possessed by his own dead father. More concern was coming now, since Konton looked stressed as it was.
Koana was going to bring her some herbs to settle her nerves, but in this weather? It was impossible. The black and white male padded angrily into the clearing, sniffing softly as chilly air sent a stinging sensation down his nose. Grunting Koana turned and picked up the smelly herbs, a waft of these plants did calm one's nerves and discomfort. Konton needed it the most, though he was having trouble finding her scent. She blending in with the fog, like himself. Koana slid into the small enclosure of the medicine den, laying the hebrs carefully with other different scented herbs. He breathed them in, enjoying the scent that emenated from them. Being a Shaman was what he had desired, it had been his favorite thing to do as a kit, sniff the scent that wafted from them, so were bad, some were quite good in scent.
Drifting curiously away Koana thought about Seika, his mate. Her leg was still considered injuried, even if she was able to swiftly run across the forest floor like a rabbit in spring. Lately, she was coming in the medicine den, complaining of her leg highly hurting. Maybe the muscles had ripped from her long distant chases of catching food for the others... That woukd probably be the case. Koana murmured a set of prayers and picked up another set of herbs, good for usually healing up ripped muscle tissue if eatten.
Padding out into the foggy camp Koana slowly tried scenting out his mate's scent, she usually was around here at this time, her leg wouldn't let her go too far, right?

Akakumo had his work cut out for him. The tribe was supposed to be searching for their elder, but many of the foxes had gotten separated and lost due to the extreme amounts of snow and fog. Right now the guardian was flying through the air, just a few feet above the treetops. To make things difficult, the snow landing atop of him was weighing him down and the fog was too thick for him to really see anything from above. Not that on the ground was any better. "Hey, anyone down there?" he called out, hovering over a patch of dead trees. No response. He shook his head and continued his search for the others.
~~~~~
Although Kekkon had heard the guardian's call near where he was, he chose not to respond. At the moment, he was busy trying to find a something to kill. With the recent food shortage and the tribe members growing thinner, Kekkon was beginning to feel like a complete failure as a hunter. I should be able to help provide for them, he thought to himself, padding stealthily over the snow-covered ground. No matter what the conditions.
 Akuma, used to this harsh weather, padded across the surface of the snow. She was so glad she was so used to the Kousetsu Tribe's conditions. Her eyes blinked in the fog as she knitted her way around the trees. Her ribs were protruding from her chest, as she hadn't eaten much in these past months. Her spine was starting to reveal itself and her hips were becoming prominent.
She was coming close to blacking out. She let out a sigh and leaned on a tree. She wanted to scream out and collapse. Life was too hard . . . Her legs wobbled beneath her with this depression attack and she fell down. Her eyes were open and tearing up. The warm tears fell onto the white ground, melting the snow. I'm sorry . . . She thought, directing it to all those foxes she owed it too.
She had failed them all . . . Frenka, Kinovu, the Tribe . . . Everyone . . .
She cried more. This was torture . . . Life was murder . . .
She growled. It wasn't the time to think about that. She bolted upright and continued walking. She wasn't going to give up in this time, not yet when everyone needed her. Not now . . .
Konton was in her cat-like position, gazing out at the frozen sea. She was the thinnest of the tribe currently, giving up everyone of her meals to her fellow companions. She was too stressed out to care about herself.
Frenka was possessed and missing, not to mention a threat to everyone. The murderous demon inside him was loose and bloodthirsty. Another Red Cloud incident could be the occurrence of this and the Tribe would be at it's end . . .
New members were coming in the tribe, and Frenka hadn't even met them yet, and Sangre was having kits soon . . .
Not to mention these harsh weather conditions were affecting the overall well-being of all the tribe members. If they lost any one of their members, it would be such a terrible thing with such a terrible outcome. The tribe was so close to going into an era of desolation, which she feared greatly.
Konton knew the road they were headed down was not a pleasant one . . . She knew it. She knew the coarse of the future if that was the case. She had seen it in Frenka's head . . . She shuddered at the thought.
She wanted to scream out and cry, to give up on life. It was too much pressure and stress. She was going to go insane. It wasn't her job. Konton though, was stubborn when it came to losing her calm, secretive demeanor and chose not to give in to these temptations. It was her duty as a devoted tribe member, friend, and cousin to Frenka to take his job when he was not here to do so.
She sighed and stood up, wobbling the first time before regaining her balance. She took a step out on the ice and then another, gradually walking on top of it all. It was a nice way to pass the time. She smiled a little. She walked a little further. It seemed pretty thick to her. She made her way to the center of the sea and tapped her claws on the surface. Little did she know the dangers . . .
At the center, the ice was an inch thick and broke. Konton gasped and before falling underwater.
She opened her eyes in the freezing water, gasping. She swam up, but only found thick ice. She couldn't find the opening from which she fell in and was panicking. She continued searching, only in vain . . .
It was only ten minutes under when she passed out in the icy water. She didn't know if anyone would find her here. Her only hope of survival was the chance that someone may have heard her short scream.
Seika shivered as she was half buried in the pure white snow. Her ears drooped and she closed her eyes. She was thin and hungry! Her right foreleg was tucked beneath her, as it was practically useless right now. The fracture she had as a kit never healed properly and made her muscles pull frequently. She was smart enough not to listen to Koana and do what she wanted: hunting. She should have waited for her leg to heal.
She was in pain. Her leg wouldn't move. She was getting desperate now, as she had lived with this pain since the day she hatched. Growling, she decided to use her last resort. She had waited too long now and this wasn't going to heal without pain.
She sauntered towards a crevice in the rocks she was near, as she was only at the cliffs. She knew she was being exceedingly reckless as she wedged her leg in that crevice and sighed. She bent her leg in a way that her leg wouldn't, bending at the wrong side of the knee. It bent at the fractured area and she whimpered. The only way to do this was to break it again . . .
Once it was at the point where it wouldn't bend anymore, she reached up with her tail and rolled a boulder off of the edge of the small cliff she was under. The heavy boulder fell directly on the fracture and then there was a loud snapping sound.
Seika howled in pain and it echoed throughout the cliffs as she wrenched her newly broken leg from the cliff wall. She fell on it and breathed heavily. That was a lot more painful than she thought it would be. Oh well, it was for the best . . .
Koana moved, he slid softly in the hard snow. He kept his eyes focused straight on the scents ahead, even falling into a cool pool of water he would deal with it. Then he stopped as two agonized screams split the chilly air. He regonized their horrible wails like wildfire, water seemed to have splashed out in his other direction, the other wail had also been from that direction. Koana grumbled sadly, his mate had done something he hoped she would never do...
Break it, again.
The blue and white coat was half buried in the cool snow. Two pairs of amger eyes dwelled out from them, markings scanning the area with a cool gaze. Sheba wheezed a heavy sigh, her bones were failing her already. She would have to face soon that her youth was fading, she was old. Sheba's first reaction and notice was when her bones started heaving done, a disease only elderly foxes carried was infecting her bones now. Sheba's eye sight was also failing her slowly, the sharingan vision had already started to blink out. If the tribe could help make an elders den, she would appreciate it.
But her nose hadn't failed her, Sheba was able to smell more better then any in the tribe. That was how she scented something familier, her own scent roamed the scent that was nearing closer. Two ear splitting screams filled the area quickly, echoeing into Sheba's ears, she didn't hear it well and sighed. The blue vixen stood, coughing slightly and turned around. She started limping slowly and slowly over to where the screams had been, concern filling her old eyes with fear. That scent she had picked up was indeed Akuma's, yet those screams were from Konton and Seika.
Trouble was rising, Akuma was needed more then ever.
Koana pawed his way through the thin ice. Concern more for Konton was making him shiver worser. If something happened to her the tribe would be un-able to work. They would be in total disaster without her, if something happened to Frenka, she would be the only fox to take role for him. Calmly the male prodded ice, it broke quickly as Koana withdrew slightly. He heard bubbling rising from it's surface, Koana knew straight away Konton was going to drown.
Koana gulped, his fear of water hadn't settled, yet it was for the tribe.
Immediately Koana jumped into the water, holding his breath enormously. Icy water stung his eyes like needle as he looked for the white female with ease. Wreathing was spotted from anotehr direction, Koana turned and saw the female fighting for her life. Koana swam to her, grabbing her by the scruff and gently swimming up. He had been one of the tribe member's to not lose as much source as food, so he was still strong. With one final heave, Koana burst out of the water, Konton drifting up with him.
She was safe, hopefully.
Koana dragged her out with a more vervous expression as the ice crackled under his fiht, paniced Koana swiftly put Konton on his back and ran from the water, ice splashed into the water. In a second Koana had Konton off his back, on the cool snow. He stared at her carefully, Koana picked up the herbs and put them by her. He was thankful they worked for something like this too.
How much would they suffer?
Splashing reached Sheba's ears, Koana's scent wafted into her nose. He had saved Konton, now for Seika. The old female limped further from them, yet Koana's eyes caught her off guard, he looked at her and breathed limply.
"Are you ok, Sheba?" the male asked, concern filled his voice.
"I'm fine..." She rasped, "I'll go check on Seika..."
"O-ok.." Koana murmured softly, looking at the female with dread. He knew she was old, and her death would be soon.
Sheba ignored his concerned looks to her and padded up the high stone cliffs of the Akatsuki Cliffs. Her eyes looked around, a red blob layed limply on an edge, blood spilled everywhere as Sheba noticed a rock was grudgly over Seika's leg. Sheba whimpered loudly, sitting by the female and licking her ear sadly. "Are you able to wait a little longer, dear?" Sheba rasped again, "Koana is looking at Konton..."
((Scout he be!))
Shadow-san trudged along in the fog, his breath visible. From what he had gathered, Frenka was officially insane. "God, why did I get myself into this mess?" He asked aloud, squinting to try and see his way through the fog. To deep. He grubled to himself, wishing he had one of those things humans called 'Scarves.' 'Someone's being a selfish A-hole.' Said a little voice in his head. This voice was his tamed side, which only popped out every once in a while. It was like his consence basically, and he was forced to listen to it. "Shut up." He growled, shaking his head. Tame was right though, The tribe had lost its Elder basically, everyone was under alot of pressure, hunting wasn't that great, and soon enough, Sangre would have kits. And the young had to come first. 'Ya need ta get yerself a mate...mate.' Oh great, his third persona. The witty one. "Shut UP!" He yelled, swatting his own head. Wit was true as well, he did need to find a mate, and quick. Who ever heard of a guy going matless all his life? That would be a disgrace to all of foxkind. But right now, the tribe was most important. Damn that Tame. Shadow-San rushed off into the fog, looking for any member he could find.
