Seti was lightly irritated as he continued to eat with his eyes closed. His hearing was even sharper than his sight and he could hear what was going on perfectly. He turned his head away lightly even though he could not see them.
Haku smiled at the englishman. "No problem." As he noticed that the other could atleast pick up a small piece of chicked he went back to his seat to have a little bite himself. His onyx eyes moved over Seti and just smiled before turning to the englishman, letting the samurai be to irritate him even more. "I'm curious to how much you will enjoy this rare meal." The pale boy said with a happy smile. He toyed with the chopsticks in a way of flirting and happily smiled at the englishman. Enjoying himself fully.

Kirus smiled in return as Haku spoke to him, and allowed himself ever so slightly to lean back into the man behind him, if only for a moment, before he bent his head forwards in an attempt to concentrate on his chopsticks. The sticks were difficult to press together but he managed to grasp a slither of noodles and pass it gently into his mouth, he slurped softly, glad of the food. It had a mild stock like taste and warmed him from the inside. He smiled once more.
"to be honest as long as food isn't mouldy bread and sea faring biscuits, I have no care in the world" he said.

Haku watched the different emotions on the englishmans face as he ate a little of the food. "You can still enjoy food you know." The raven said with a small giggle. "I will make you some nice sushi tonight." He happily pronounced, before eating a few pieces of meat. Haku closed his eyes aswell for a moment as he let the delicious taste of the meat take him over. Ever so slowly those onyx eyes opened again, still smiling happily. The chopsticks never resting silently in his hand, playing around with them constantly.
Seti continued to eat his ramen. Which he was rather quick at. Without opening his sharp eyes he picked up the bowl and placed it against his lips to drink the fluid that was left in the bottom of the bowl.

Kirus slowly managed to get the hang of his chopsticks and smiled softly as Haku spoke to him. He chewed for a moment, dabbing the slight stain of stock from his lips before replying to the raven haired man sat across from himself. "I'd like that very much, though I dont feel you should cook for me at all! Perhaps as a friend more than as my host." he said with a smile, his eyes sparkling, head tilting to one side, his hair falling to sweep across his shoulders, looking for a moment like some gypsy colt. "What," he wondered though, "is sushi?" he asked softly, before picking up the next piece of chicken and placing it between his lips, and chewing softly. "I very much enjoy this new culture of cuisine, it is all entirely new to me however....rather, I have had chicken often before, but never served in such a way, or with anything nearly similar to these..." he hooked out a string of noodles to indicate what it was he meant.

Haku smiled and nodded. "I normally don't cook so that should say enough." He said with a small giggle. "Sushi is basically sorts of fish with rice and seafruits. I don't know if you will like it but i surely hope so, cause we eat it very often. Its very healthy, or atleast how we make it here." He moved his free hand through his long black hair as he was still playing with the chopsticks. Only half his bottle was empty, but who knew Haku well, knew that he was already done eating.

Kirus nodded in surprise "I would have thought as the owner of an establishment such as your Inn, you would cook often enough?" he commented, passing another string of noodles into his mouth slightly awkwardly still. He chewed for a moment or two before meeting the others eyes once more. "And I was not aware that the sea had any kind of fruit within it?" He asked "perhaps a journey by boat would not be so painful if it were so..." he mused. Life on the sea was hard enough without fear of all the illness that can occur from the bad diet that it entails. "I wonder how you would find the western style of cooking, or if you would react so ignorantly to our lands and customs as I have done to yours?" He knew full well that presented with society and grace of breeding the two would probably have no idea what to do at all, Seti would likely kill someone in the first two moments if the look that was permanently plastered on his face was of any indication.

Haku laughed softly. "Well its called seafruit. But its more like sea weed and all kinds of plants that grow in the sea. And next to that the smaller animals in the sea." He listened to the other and nodded with a smile. "Well i hadn't had time to leave my country and Inn to see the rest of the world. But i am curious to everything new. Maybe you can cook for me once?" Seti ordered some sake and looked at both others. To his disgust Haku was having a little to much fun with the englishman. But he had to accept it and he would try, but not with true happiness. Haku had seen and heard the other order sake. His onyx eyes moved back to Kirus once more. "Do you want sake aswell?"

A tall, red-haired woman moved through the crowd with the grace of a noblewoman. She was taller than most of the men and had bright red hair that cascaded in ringlets to the small of her back. Her eyes were a strange green/gray color that were both intelligent and childishly playful. She was small-waisted and large-chested, but very beautiful. Her skin was slightly sun-burned on her cheeks, but the rest of her was pale as were most red-haired people. It was difficult to take one's eyes off of her. She seemed out-of-place in the sea of black-haired people, and though she was quite clearly a woman and did nothing to say otherwise, she was dressed in man's clothes. She moved through the crowd without trying to avoid running into anyone. She didn't have to; people seemed to be moving away from her on their own.

In Japan, time always passed so slowly. The afternoons were long and beautiful, while the nights seemed to never end. Hatori sighed as he thought about the beautiful world he lived in. At any moment this may be ripped away from him. Sadness overcame his face. He hated thinking that his world could be ripped away from him at moment. The bad thoughts began to fill his heart but he shook head as if the thoughts would fall out when he did so. "No...no bad thoughts today." Hatori only wanted good thoughts on his first day of work.
Hatori was a trained sword for hire. Not the best job in the world, but Hatori held in the highest respect. He loved the thought of protecting someone or helping out people in need. It wasn't about the money to him. He looked out onto the nearby city and smiled. " Maybe there are some people down there who need some protecting." He grinned and ran down the road.
Hatori looked to be about 18 or 19 years old, give or take a few months. His hair was jet black and looked very clean. He always kept it about shoulder length and his bangs short enough to see, but he always forgot to cut them. He was slightly built from training but you couldn't tell because he was so tall. Everyone called him twig boy back home. He wore his father's old black kimono and carried a sword at his side. Everything seemed average about him.
After a bit of running he came to the city. He had a huge smile on his face as he saw the streets bustling with life. Hatori had lived in a small village his whole life, so he rarely had the time to see the city. He continued on walking very formally with his head hung low. He wanted to seem cool but he wanted to look around. Hatori slowly lifted his head. He saw that people were staring at someone. He looked at who they were talking about and he gasped. She was beautiful. He walked as quick as he could over to the red headed beauty. He tapped her on the shoulder and spoke. " Excuse me mam...but you seem like you could use some protection?" He felt so stupid after he said it.

Kirus laughed heartily, his eyes dancing in the low light and mist of the canteen. "I'm afraid I cannot cook at all" he admitted "Not something I ever made the effort to learn" It was obvious that Kirus had probably always had someone to cook for him, be it his mother or his housekeeper, even on his ships, there was always a cook on hire. Cooking was not a gentleman's doing. He waved his hand in decline of the offer of sake, softly and with small thanks. "I really feel we aught to be moving on, I've much to do today, and I'm sure you two have no real desire to be keeping me company for the whole day. I am still in need of a guide however..." he trailed off. This was a strange situation for Kirus, he was used to just hiring everyone he needed in foreign countries, rather than actually making friends with them. He pushed back his hair with a free hand, and after a moments thought, pulled it back all the way, securing a pony tail at the nape of his neck. Japan was a hot country it seemed, and the steam from the food in the shack was causing a sheen of sweat to build on his forehead and back. He could feel his clean shirt beginning to stick to his skin.

Haku nodded. "We can go now and meet Seti later. Then you can try getting him to help you as a guide." The onyx eyed boy smiled at Seti and petted him on the shoulder softly. "We will leave you to the sake and see ya later on." Haku said with a very cute smile. Seti just looked at him. Not really agreeing on that. But he knew Haku and he knew he couldn't stop the other male. "Thats that then." Haku gracefully got up and waited for Kirus to come with him. "Where do you want to go now?" He asked as he stuffed his hands into the sleeves of the light kimono.

Dianne turned to the boy who had tapped her shoulder. He didn't look like much. She had seen better, and worse, too, for that matter. Her greenish-gray eyes looked him over twice, to see if possibly she was missing anything. No, he seemed like a normal kid. She smiled devilishly and playfully at the same time, "Do I?" she asked. It was a simple question, but the way she said it made it sound like she was testing the boy. Should he say 'no', then she could call him a liar for saying it the first time, and she could take offense should he say 'yes'. The smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, making the sunburn on her cheekbones glow a slightly brighter shade of red. Her accent was also strange, definitely foreign, but familiar enough to show that she had lived in the area for a while.

Kirus smiled as he stood from the booth and smoothed down his shirt, nodding in a parting gesture to Seti. "My thanks friend, I hope to see you again very soon" he commented, as he and Haku left the noodle bar. The heat and steam of the bar was hardly abated when they got outside, even by the breeze of the sea, and once more, Kirus pulled his thick hair back from his face. His clean shirt already sticking to him with sweat and dust. They had seen to Kirus' bags and though he was enjoying the new culture, he felt that soon enough he would want to return to his home country and was eager to get on with things. Right at that moment however, he was also very keen to keep his relationship with Haku clean and well- its newness hanging in the balance. It was probable Haku already knew why he was here, he was a smart man, evidently, for now however, Kirus would keep quiet. "How about a tour of this town?" he asked gently "I'd like to be able to tell my way around without having to drag you with me" he commented with mirth. "I love the company, and am very grateful for your English tongue, but am rather concious that you have your own business to run my friend."

Haku smiled and left the ramenshop. He hummed lightly as he walked out along with Kirus. He knew perfectly well why the man was here, what his business was. But he was just playing dumb and it was working pretty fine. "A tour through town is fine. Well you have seen the harbour and so wel will walk along the main road into the heart of the village." Haku said as they continued their walk down that said main road. "Is there maybe anything else you would like to know about the city that is maybe in the future important to you or your business?" Haku asked. He didn't look at the englishman but his onyx eyes where sharp and hard as he tried to draw out more information without letting the other know more about himself.
