*lyserg tried to keep from falling as Netsubo's momentum threw them off balance, but it didn't work. they crashed to the ground*"h-hi Netsubo.....I was looking for you, but I wasn't expecting to run into you like this...."

Shizuka walked over to her friend and the boy, both now on the floor. So this was this 'Lyserg' that she's heard about.
Hey, if he's friends with Netsubo-chan, he can't be too bad.
Shizuka reached out her hand to help him up.

Faust acknowledged Lyserg's presence, then returned to fiddling with his oracle pager. "I don't really like your tactic for getting into the shaman fight," he sighed, "But I guess it's better than what mine was. Ah! I'm getting a signal." He squinted, reading the tiny lettering on the oracle screen. "Apparently, there isn't a way to just contact on officiant. They'll show up if you really, really need help. According to this."

"cause I'm the only one of us besides Yoh who was tested by Silva..."

*Ahem*, said Silva. "The Patch Traditional Hand-Crafted TV has informed me that someone is in need of help. I suggest you seek professional help, Faust VIII," he said, turning to Faust.
Faust sighed. "Not me. Her. The girl," he pointed at Shizuka.
"No oracle pager..." mused Silva. "Hm. What would someone not in the Shaman Fight request from a Patch Officiant?"

"Well, this is unexpected!" Silva said. "How strange... you are a Shaman, then?"
"She is!" affirmed Faust. "But for some reason she was never tested.
Silva took out his Traditional Patch Handicrafted Oracle Laptop and started typing. "It might have something to do with the officiants... I tested Yoh Asakura and Netsubo... Kalim tested Faust VIII, and had lots of stories to tell about that..." Faust cast his gaze downwards, avoiding eye contact with Silva, "... ah... here we are. It appears that Chrom, the officiant who was supposed to test you, Shizuka, was killed before he was able to contact you. By one Tao Ren, I believe. I apologize... things were bad with ten of us, so many shamans, so little time... even less money... but Chrom's death really put a different spin on things. It was a terrible blow to the Patch tribe, and obviously the other Shamans he was supposed to test. But I don't know if there's anything I can do," he admitted. "The oracle pagers have all been distributed to shamans of talent, and Goldva would be overwhelmed by the effort to make even more. It takes 500 years to prepare for somthing like this, you know..."
Faust was still stinging about the "professional help" comment. "Boy, are you long-winded!" he commented. "Leave some room in the forum for the other roleplayers, will you?"
"Sorry," said Silva, in the most dignified voice he could muster.

*Netsubo and Lataru had started to work up tears. Netsubo went right up to him with tears about to spill from her eyes*"Oh please!! you HAVE to let her join!! She has potential to be the winner! PLEASE!!"*by the time she was done talking, she had tears streaming down her face, as did lataru*

Faust sighed, trying to show that he disapproved of their manipulating scheme, but a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
"Oh, erm..." Silva said. "Girls....crying... urgh!!!"
"What's the matter?" a woman asked, stopping and staring. "Why are these girls crying?"
"I don't know!" Silva said, guiltily watching the tears stream down their faces.
