You just mean the character, right? You haven't gotten him yet, have you? If so, he's the last laguz you get...I think. [Aside from the dragon you end up with and the three in the final chapter.]

Oh, do you mean after promotion? I'm telling you, Sothe is very unnecessary, but I bet he's required to recruit someone since he said "I'm looking for someone" on Nasir's ship.
I wonder if Nasir ever becomes an ally.... from what I've seen of him (up to chapter 13), he's pretty awesome too.

Sothe can get you Devdan, I believe...Not that anyone really wants Devdan. =/
The only reason I got him was because I was trying to get all of the characters. =_=;
As for the person Sothe was looking for? You don't meet her in FE9. You know of Micaiah, right? From FE10? Yeah. There you go.
Nasir is more difficult to get than Stephan. Speaking of which...Did you get him? I believe you said you'd made it to Tormod and Muarim's level. You get Stephan there, in the desert. He's hard enough to find, and you can only get him with a Laguz. Getting him does give you some time to look for the items drifting in the sand. Every FE game I've played has at least one desert level with such items. =/
You don't get Nasir 'til Chapter 27, I believe...Rather, I think you start using him in CH28, if you got him in CH27. If you don't do it right, you get stuck with Ena instead. Ena is PATHETIC.
Beat the Black Knight as fast as you can. If you can't beat him in time, as much of a pain in the arse it'll be, RESET. Don't get stuck with Ena. =/

That's happened to me twice in PoR now! scream Again, off topic. Back to... characters. I like Gatrie a little more for coming back from going AWOL.

Set Ike on the Green Square. When you're defending, it's good to put someone on the spot you have to defend. Have a healer behind him, maybe. If Soren can use staves yet, put him on the green square and Ike in front of him. That should be enough. Get Astrid away from danger. I'd put her on the plank to your ship with Gatrie in front of her to defend. Block off the bridges. Lethe is good for this...And Oscar. You should have at least 3 units that can take some hits. Make sure you have Mist ready to heal. Rhys, if you're using him. 13 is a good chapter to raise Mist, though. Ravens come in later in the level. Have Rolf. Ilyana can use a Wind. You should be fine.
Nephenee is AMAZING. I'd advise against using Astrid this time. Take her little shield thing and give it to Neph. Level her up. She'll be a MACHINE.

I hear Nephenee is awesome once you raise her. And I have a Master Seal still...
Not to mention, like Oswin, she's got that awesome little poker face. I love poker-faced lance-users... they get the job done without so much as a complaint!

The nice thing about Nephenee is, she's a foot soldier. I really loved that about her. Mounted units are great, but I found her to be really easy to use. I was kind of hoping Amelia would stay on foot...Without all that armor. =/
I believe you get 4 Master Seals, total...So my advice? Use one on Ike...Save one for Volke, and DEFINATELY use him. He premotes automatically, so have him raised by then. Ike will promote soon too, if you're still around the chapter you were on last time. Don't waste one on Soren. It's not worth giving up Adept. Save one for Reyson. Trust me. I can't remember, but I think it's useless with Laguz...Ah...I only remember three that I used it on...
Here, this may be helpful:
Ike: ::::: Aether :::::
Class: Lord
Character's Skill = chance of activation
Unit makes two strikes, one which halves enemy Defense, and another that heals
the user's HP equal to damage it does.
Volke: ::::: Lethality :::::
Class: Assassin
Character's Skill = chance of activation
Instantly kills target, regardless of the strength of the attack.
Reyson: ::::: Blessing :::::
Class: Heron
Always active
Units in adjacent spaces to the unit with this Skill receive healing at the
beginning of turn.
Do whatever you like with the last one...Though I'd advise against Flare or Roar in particular. They're pretty much useless.

And also.. O_O You only get four of them? You're kidding! *rushes to support Volke*
Ahem. Enough talk about units, that belongs in strategies.
Lyn is probably one of my favorite female characters, next to Lute and Titania... and probably Lilina. (You start out having to rescue Lilina, but afterwards, she's a unit that PWNz. *loves Fire/Light A support between Roy/Lilina* <3)
I love.... way too many guys to list. XD

I mean... it all started with Vika x Synra. Wait, is it in that order? *shot* -_- I think I'm the only one in this entire guild who likes Eliwood as a character, BTW. Everyone seems to hate him, and I don't think he's that bad at all.

I like... Hm. I dunno. I think Haar is the most awesome. Or Hector. Quirky characters are the best, no?
