Lennea looked back at her arm again. It didn't seem like it needed any stiches at all. "No, just needs to be wrapped up at most," She said.

Sayura nodded, "Good. Stitches ******** hurt without any rubbing alcohol. If you need bandages, I'm sure I have something to wrap it up with in my pack," she started down the stairs, unintentionally dragging Lennea along with her, "I left it in the front hall when we first arrived. Hopefully no one's taken it."

Lennea didn't say anything. She didn't know anything to say or have anything intresting to talk about. She just continued to allow Sayura to drag her along wherever she needed to go.

When they reached the front hall, Sayura searched around for her pack. She finally located it on the left wall, right next to a window. "There it is!" She dragged Lennea over to her pack, then let go of her arm to shuffle through. Finally, she picked out a worn looking shirt and cut it into strips with the knife that she carried down.

"Here," she said handing the strips over to Lennea, "Hopefully you know how to bandage yourself up. I can't. My bandages always turn out so sloppy. Seraphim's the nurse out of the three of us. The nurses back at the center were too scared of Dia to even go near us when she was in control. The only thing she's good for is fighting."

I'll take that as a compliment.

And here I thought you were asleep. Damn. Now I have to listen to your chatter.

Don't forget, you're the one that chatters all the time.

I won't Dia. I won't.

Lennea took the strip of cloth from her. It reminded her of the material of the straightjackets she was forced into the first several years of her life as Lilith grew stronger and El emerged. She began to wrap herself up and looked at the youth with a cuiouse expression. Sayura in genreal didn't seem all that strong, but then again, looks could be deciving.

Sayura sat down and pulled her knees towars her body until she could rest her chin on them. She watched Lennea bandage her arm, glad that it wasn't too serious. "Are you hungry? There should be some canned stuff in the kitchen. I could make ya something," Sayura offered as Lennea finished up, "And don;t worry, I won't poison you."

Tuesday turned away as they began to speak of things like stitches and waving around knives. Hey, wait! Wednesday protested, gaining enough control to make Tuesday stop. I want to watch this.
Ew, Wednesday, no! Not again. I think I would die from laughter! came Tuesday's happy reply.

Please? her sarcastic tone she had moments before was gone now, replaced by an almost desperate canter. Wednesday lived for the macabre and morbid, which was odd, as Mia's life was so sheltered, the closest thing to either she'd get was reruns of the old Addams Family shows from which she got her name. Wednesday had never seen real blood, had never watched any sort of medical procedures, no horror movies, nothing.

No! came Tuesday's giggly reply, forcing her legs to continue moving away from the others. She liked making Wednesday mad, it seemed.
Tuesday! Wednesday demanded, Let, me, watch!

The color drained from Mia's face as the struggle ensued. A horrible, high-pitched wailing erupted from her mouth, although to which mind the shriek was coming from was most definitely uncertain. Mia tried to regain her own control through the madness, but it seemed the fight was out of her hands, in a more literal way than anything.

Mia's teeth clenched as her mouth closed, keeping her scream locked behind her lips as a victor began to take control of her body. A terrible creaking began to echo from the floorboards beneath her as she fell to her knees; ready to give way any moment, it seemed. The place was ancient enough to. Finally, as Mia writhed on the ground, the inevitable happened.

The incredibly weak floorboards creaked a final time before cracking beneath her violently-thrashing weight. The victor pulled it all together, just as the floor crumbled apart. Another scream escaped her throat as she reached out to cling to anything she could grasp, anything to stop her body from being dashed against the cold ground of the basement beneath them. Her hand miraculously caught hold of one broken floorboard, the sharpness of the broken wood biting into her hand as she gripped it. Mia didn't dare move for fear of losing the slight grip she had. Her eyes were wide as she stared up at the floor above, hoping someone would come to her rescue.

Or, at least, a third of her was hoping. The other two were appalled that she had the daring to stop herself from crashing to the floor.

Aw, man! I wanted to check out the basement! Tuesday giggled.
I wanted blood...

"Help!" Mia squeaked, not caring how sane the person that saved her was. "Please, help me!" she said, stinging tears rushing to her face as her grip began to slip from the wood.

Sayura's head whipped up as she heard the creaking wood and the following crash. "Wait here Lennea, I'll be right back, 'kay?" With that she raced back up the stairs, carefully avoiding the rotten steps.

You're too concerned about these people. You don't even know them all that well!

Just shut it, Dia! I don't want to see anymore people die! And neither does Sera! Who knows, maybe seeing another person die might even wake Gilda up!

At that, Dia shut up. For some reason she was as afraid of Gilda as they were and she'd do anything to make sure Gilda wouldn't come out again.

Fine.

Sayura reached the hall again and saw that Teusday had fallen into a hole and was losing her grip. Lunging towards the girl, she held her hand out to her, "Grab it! Quick! If you fall, you'll probably die."

At the prospect of death, the two voices in her head were silenced, leaving Mia with a horrible, lonely feeling. Strangely enough, Mia didn't like not having others in her mind to talk to her. They were annoying and embarrassing and frightening; but they were the normal, and they were a strange, masochistic comfort to her. D-Die?, Tuesday finally squeaked, bringing Mia out of her self-inflicted trance. Mia's hand swung up and grabbed the other girl's, just as the board she clung to gave way. Another shriek flew from the scrawny girl's mouth as her entire life was placed in the grip of a schizo like herself, or worse than herself. She hadn't decided yet. Frightened tears raced down the girl's cheeks as she clung to her savior for dear life. "Please, don't let me fall..." she whispered, in a strange combination of tones that was definitely not normal.

Clutching the girl's hand in a tight grip, Sayura gritted her teeth, and used her other hand to catch hold of her arm. "Don't worry. I won't let you fall!"

Oi, Dia! Get out here and help me! You're the strong one!

You forget, this is your body as well. But Dia came out anyway, shoving Sayura back and pulling the other girl up slowly. "Calm down would ya? I'm not about to let you fall. if you die Gilda might wake up."

Calming down was not something Mia was ever very good at once she was worked up. She was, after all, still very much a child with not a whole lot of ties to Earth as it is. As soon as her body was solidly back on the somewhat solid ground, she crumpled into a ball and tried to stop herself from shaking too badly. She had almost died just then... If either of their grips had slipped... She whimpered softly, not wanting to even dream of the possibilities.

Mia? Tuesday squeaked. Gone was the humor that made her voice unique. These thoughts sounded almost exactly like Mia's normal ones, and she didn't much care that it was so. She was just glad that the only people she could refer to as friends were back.

We're okay, Mia... Wednesday's voice returned to her as well, trying to reassure her, although it was quite apparent she wasn't really trying her hardest to do so. It's okay.

Mia's breathing slowed as her tears subsided. "Thank you..." she said hoarsely to the girl, trying to retain what little composure she had left.

((Going on vacation for a week, not sure if I'll have compy access. Sorry...))

Sera get out here! You're better at calming people down than I am!

Seraphim kneeled down next to her, gently rubbing her back and whispering soft words into her ear, "Don't worry, you're fine now. No need to thank me, I couldn't very well have let you fall now could I?"

She tugged the poor girl up from the floor and started to lead her tot he stairs, "Come on, let's get off this floor. I'd rather not be on the second floor if the house decides to fall apart."

Lennea sat down on the floor. She suddenly just all of a sudden became depressed. She sighed and watched any activety fly by out a nearby window for the longest time.
Are you going to start crying, child? El questioned
You're just as usless as Angel is, why don't you hurry up and die already!Lilith said harshly. Angel began to sob again, just as a drop or two of tears began to roll down her checks. She put her hands to her ear and whispered. "Shut up,"
