Aera giggled. "He's the entire reason I'm here, actually! That's Lord Xarik'n, the GREATEST Lord of all the darker realms, and even many of the grey realms too! Isn't he neat?!!" she gushed, pleased. "He said he knew you in the future, and I'm supposed to wait until certain people start arriving. What, you thought these would be the only people you'd have as company???" Aera started laughing in disbelief at the crew, shaking her head. "You haven't a clue, do you????"
Stampedes were coming.

Morrigan munched down, and discarded the icepack. "Too cold." she muttered. So she hated the cold...

Lythia tried to follow the conversation at the table, but the pace moved really fast with many unfamiliar names used. Giving up, she gave her attention to the food, which was absolutely delicious.
"I've never seen this food before, but it's worth much appraise," she said to Bulma, whom she reckoned as the cook, "what is it?"

Devon began to stroll along the streets, still maintaining a happy grin. "Maybe we should talk about happier things on this beautiful day. Oh look, there..." she pointed at a low inviting building, "there is the bakery, there's another one on the other side of town, but I found this one's better, the little cream tart fillings are absolutely mouth-watering. Shall I get one for you?"

"And you'll be, in a world, of pure imagination...!!!" Morrigan sang, flinging out her arms, finishing the man's sentence as they teleported, cheerfully sprawling until she was plopped on a couch. She thought she heard Vincent protesting, but his voice had disappeared soon enough.
The sudden change of scenery was a bit, um, unsettling, and the tea and footstool and luxury was astonishing. She sniffed the tea cautiously, trying to figure out the flavor; however, it wasn't hard, and she stared at him, jaw gaping. She sipped the tea with rapture, utterly pleased; how..????
She looked at him, tilting her head. "Chai, light on the soymilk, white, green, and black teas used as a base." she stated, holding up the cup. "How did..?"
The fire was appealing as all hell, and she suddenly wanted to explore around here; it was rare that her curiousity was so active all of a sudden. Out of she and her brother, she was the rational one more often than not. Exploring was his addiction. So why had she gotten hooked???
"Where am I???" she asked, taking another, long, grateful sip of the tea offered. Man, this was good. "Is this where you come from???"

Aera giggled. "Overwhelmed, now? I'm surprised it took him this long. Talk about delayed reaction... Your wife I could understand."
"Morrigan?! Oh my gods, where'd they go?!" Vincent demanded, shocked but almost angry. "Where'd he take her??"
Her singing threw him off too. When did Morrigan see THAT movie, and since when did she act so girly and childlike and hyper and fun???? Something was wrong, was she drugged??? Must've been the pink elephants....

Soy watched Maeve walk away, the woman shifting her hold on her bag, once she was out of sight, did the Saiya-jin let her powers take hold of her. It was growing close to night, darkness almost taking hold of what she could see.
She took a step up, as if walking on an invisible staircase, her feet floating just a few inches from the ground. She smiled, letting herself rise from the alley, her eyes level with the roofs of the buildings around her, then more. She kept flying up high, gazing around, as she located the hotel room. Much proud of her speed, she jetted to the window which she knew was one of her own.
When Soy should have floated back inside, let herself get the rest she needed and await tomorrow when she would meet Ashuri inside, but she didn''t. She just tossed in her new clothes, and money, not bothering to hid the items, her body floating back.
She would much rather fly around for a while, to relieve her nerves. For some odd reason, her abilities calmed her. She was, after all, the first of the group to learn how to fly...At least for a second time around, but it was all confusing when she thought about it.
The Saiya-jin shot up like a bullet, her hair blown back from her face as she stared up at the silhouttes of the clouds. When she deemed herself high enough, did she stop, glancing down to West City below.
It looked so small at this height, so different from her times.
What did we do to let it change? she thought to herself, hoping to seek some answers soon. But for now, she just took it all in awe. That was, until something else sparked her interest.
She glanced to the side, her enhanced senses picking out, but what exactly?
Curious, she let herself be led toward the source of the mystery, and soon spotted a figure flying toward the direction of West City.
"Hello!" she called, waving, seeing now that it had the shape of a human body. Perhaps it was another one of the Saiya-jin? And if it was, shouldn''t she avoid them?
But I''m bored, she reminded herself, yet I don''t want to come off desperate.
Heh, good luck on that.

Poor Leif, who had never seen nor heard of a Saiya-jin before in his life before today, let alone one of their ki attacks, yelped and leaped backwards when Vejita cut the table in two. Wiping food from his face and clothing he merely watched the precedings with the rest of the residents, feeling very much overwhelmed, yet at the same time very amused.

He shook his head, Pink Elephants, wouldn't Mave have a field day with that. His laughter was replaced with a sad smile. Where were they?

Night had fallen fully and the twins continued thier stree-corner playing. Maeve was once again singing while Thom played the melody. It was a wonderful system: Maeve could jump into almost any song that suited her current fancy and Thom would seamlessly jump in behind her. They had quite a good collection in the violin case, but both of them being on an adrenline rush from the music, showed now signs of stopping their impromptu show.

Soy landed with a grace that contrasted with her rush and speed, the woman smiling slightly to the man, though her eyes were drawn to what was on the side of his head.
Odd ears was all she could think.
"Oh um...Yeah, you noticed that," she didn't specify on what part. Now that she was close enough, there was something about the other that made her...Feel weird.
"Sorry, I just saw you alone and well..." she trailed off, not really have a good excuse for her sudden greeting to the stranger.

(((OOC: Sar, just thought I'd tell you that I won't be on the computer from about 2:00pm - 5:00pm my time tomorrow (3-6 yours). I've got an interview, for a job that I really don't think I want (because it's full time). Anyway... yeah... And your sis is on my hate list for the moment. She's preventing me from knowing your evil plan for LOTR... and I have a short patience span. *thinks* Come to think of it... Only other people on my hate list is Gokou and Leonard DiCaprio... I have a small list...)))
