Richard paused, watching her then returned to the front of your ship.

Arya waved away the man who was covering her station and waited for him to climb out before climbing in, carefully checking that all her stuff was where she had left it before starting to look for another ship.

Richard stood silently at the front of the ship, eyes scanning around. He knew one was at the back checking the Royal Navy vessel didn't turn back.

It was a couple of minutes before she spotted it to their right. Starboard. She climbed down hurriedly, sprinting towards the wheel. "Starboard." She spoke quietly although they were still too far away to hear. "2 o'clock."

The word whispered along the ship. People crept over to look out. Richard stood by the main mast, eyes closed.

The nervous tension was obvious and irritated Arya. She flexed her fingers, prepared to burn down the whole damn ship if necessary in order to get some sleep.

The ship moved closer as if it had seen the thunder, but there was no outward signs of trouble. Richard closed his eyes as if bored.

"I can't tell whether they've seen us." She muttered to him. "The man in the crows nest looks stern, but amateur when it comes to night spotting from what I could see. You can tell by their movements. I could be mistaken though. It is dark."

Richard was about to reply as flashes light the night sky. "Get down!" Richard roared, diving on Arya. Cannon fire hit the Thunder.

"Ow!" Arya groaned as she hit the deck, rubbing the back of her head with a hand. She winced at the huge bang, then muttered, "I take all that back."
