Shikamaru walked over to the closet and gratefully deposited the bag on the floor. He rubbed his shoulders for a couple of seconds before looking over at the sword. It was...big. And it looked heavy. Zabuza seemed to be really happy about getting that thing. He looked it over and nodded.
"It's pretty cool. You like big swords then?" the second it left Shikamaru's mouth, he turned his head so Zabuza couldn't see his attempting to stifle a laugh. I can't believe I just said that. Bad Shikamaru, bad! But he couldn't help it. The laughter released from his body. Shikamaru had to lean against the wall to keep from falling down.
"I-" he couldn't even get a sentence out. He hoped he wasn't offending Zabuza, "Oh boy..." Shikamaru took a deep breath and rubbed the tears that had formed in his eyes away,"That shouldn't have been funny. I'm sorry." Shikamaru let out the occasional little chuckle so he wouldn't explode again, "But it's really good craftsmanship. Who made it?" Shikamaru walked over to Zabuza and carefully touched the broadside of the blade. It really was a great looking sword. And it seemed sturdy enough.

Kiba's eyes were downcast as Shino spoke to him. His chest hurt. He's my best friend...Why I can't I trust him? Why can't I just let him have his way...why don't I trust him?! Kiba sighed and shook his head. He pulled away from Shino,a frown still settled on his face. "No...I just... I'm not ready yet, Shino. Please understand."

Shino quickly withdrew his hand and stepped back. His hand dropped back to his side. "I understand Kiba. Just so you know.... I'm there for you whether it be as a friend to you or more. I should get back to class anyway..." Nodding to Kiba, he walked away from his friend and love, hoping he hadn't screwed up what mght be his only chance at love.

Zabuza gave the younger male a full grin, something that was actually pretty rare for him. "You surprise me Nara. I didn't picture you as the perverted type. You're pretty strange if lugging around heavy equipment got you thinking about sex." Normally he would have hit anyone who touched one of his swords, but for some reason he allowed it. "My former sensei made it from all the blades that I broke while training. It seems he finished it just in time..."

"Yeah, anyone who takes the time to get to know me would be surprised. But no one really cares so I don't give it a second thought." Shikamaru was looking at the blade. If he looked carefully enough, he could see that some parts of the sword were different hues, most likely from the ranges of metal that were used to make it. Shikamaru looked from the sword to Zabuza's face.
"So it has some sentimental value to you, doesn't it?" Shikamaru wondered why Zabuza's last sentence seemed to be lacking something. It was as if he was going to say something else but he didn't, "Why did you trail off?" He had never really spent much time with people, but that didn't mean he was completely horrible in handling emotions.

Zabuza gave a shrug. "Oh, I just killed him the last time we fought but it was after he'd finished making this. Glad I didn't do it sooner." he ran a hand down the blade before looking right at the Nara. "I guess it does have some sentimental value to it just because it was made by the man who taught me everything I know, but there are more important things...like if this is as good as it looks. I can't wait to test it later."

Shikamaru didn't let the frown that he felt coming appear on his lips. He looked back down at the blade. This was made by a man who was murdered by his own student. Shikamaru decided he wouldn't judge based on what he did know. He didn't know the real story. Maybe Zabuza had a good reason. Shikamaru pulled his hand away from the sword and scratched the back of his head. It was going to be a long day.
"Hopefully it's as well crafted as it looks." Shikamaru said, almost with a sigh. He would probably be the one that it would be tested on. He didn't think he could hold up against such a strong man. He looked back to the bag by the closet door and then to Zabuza, "Is there anything else you want to do with those bags? Or are you going to empty them out yourself?" Shikamaru decided that it had been long past the time to change the subject.

Zabuza set the sword to the side, then grabbed his notebook and a pen. "No, you can head to your next class unless you want to stay." He scribbled a pass for the Nara and ripped it out of his book and held it out to him. "I really couldn't care if someone skips class, it's not my life." Which just admited that he'd only dragged poor Shikamaru along to torment him. "Just don't forget that fifth period your a** is mine."

((I hope Mej doesn't mind, but I really need to give Kiba and Haku a chance to be used and get air, and it seems Zabuza and Shikamaru are basically done.))
The bell rang, making Kiba jump from his spot against the wall. That was two classes he had missed today. Oh well. Inuzuka Kiba didn't make his way to the lunch area but instead to his room. When he got there he kicked opened the door, closed it with a slam as soon as Akamaru had gone in and then kicked off his shoes. He threw his bag across the room before shuffling over to his bed and landing on it with a soft thud. He buried his head into the pillow and groaned. "I'm such an idiot!" He yelled into the pillow, tears still resting in his eyes. He hoped Lee didn't come into the dorm for lunch, he didn't know he would be able to stand being with him for a while.
The Inuzuka's wild brown hair grew even more wild as he rubbed it with both hands. He looked over to Akamaru as he sat up. He unzipped his jacket and threw at one of the two work areas. "Come here boy." He said as he laid down again. He started to pet the dog when he jumped onto the bed to lay next to his master. "I just don't know what to do, Aka. Should I trust him with this when I saw him kissing Lee...?"

((Well since I haven't used Lee for a while, Kiba is going to be distrubed... Sorry Kiba!))
Sighing as the bell rang, Shino went into class to pick up his stuff. Nodding at Asuma as he left. "I really hope Kiba will be alright." He dropped his stuff off at his room and headed down to lunch.
"I think I shall run around the dorm building before heading up to my dorm for lunch!" Lee said happily. Smiling, he ran around the building about 50 times and he still had enough time for lunch. "Wonder what Kiba is doing. I do hope he is okay..." Frowning a little, he walked into the dorm building and to his room that he shared with Kiba.

Haku stood up and gathered his things up. He sighed, Shikamaru hadn't come back the whole hour. Something must have happened. He looked down at the note he still clutched in his hands and sighed again. He left the class room and walked down the hall, leaving to go put his stuff in his dorm.
When he got there he unlocked the door and place his stuff on his bed, grabbed his first sketchbook and sat at his desk, staring out the window. He didn't look down at what he was drawing he was just tracing the first thing he had seen, a white rabbit.

Shikamaru gladly took the pass. He sighed when he thought about how close fifth period was and gave a little wave to the teacher, "Yeah, just try not to kill me, okay?" and he left the room. Shikamaru walked down the stairs and back into the math classroom. He gave Asuma an apologetic little smile and showed him the note. While he was doing so, he grabbed his stuff and walked out the door. He needed to shower.
Shikamaru left the main building and headed for the dorms. He pushed open the main door and walked to his own. He walked past Haku's, not really thinking about much else but getting the sweat off of his body. He unlocked his door and pushed it open. Sighing as he closed it behind him, he tossed his school stuff onto his bed before grabbing a towel and clean clothes. He started up the shower and quickly stepped in. He needed to shower quickly so he could go and get some lunch. He couldn't get through the rest of the day on a muffin he had scarfed when he woke up.
When the bell rang, Sasuke almost flew from his seat. He stood quickly and grabbed his stuff. He looked back at Naruto and put his stuff back down for a couple of seconds, "I have to run back to my dorm but I'll meet you in the cafeteria." And with that, he picked up his stuff again and left the classroom. He practically ran down the halls. When he got to the outdoors, the fresh hit him hard. He grinned, this felt good. He took in as much fresh air as he could as he walked to his room. He pushed the door open to see Haku already there.
"Hey Haku." Sasuke said as he walked to his bed. He put his stuff down and looked over at the other male. He looked kind of sad. Sasuke tilted his head slightly, "You okay?"

Haku looked up at Sasuke and nodded. "I'm sorry about the picture. I just wanted to draw something that would never happen. And you and your brother seemed just right. I drew something to make up for it though!" He said, flipping the pages back to the third pages and showing Sasuke the drawing of Sasuke on a window sill and Naruto standing below him, holding a rose. "I still have to finish coloring it but when I'm done you can have it. For teaching me how to draw and everything." He babbled, trying (Without knowing it) to move away from the question, though his left hand still clutched to the note.

Sasuke shook his head, "Really, its okay Haku. I overreacted to it and I shouldn't have. I should be apologizing to you." Sasuke sat on the bed next to the other. They had become very good friends in the small amount of time that they knew each other. Haku had seen Sasuke at his worst, but Sasuke felt that he wasn't exactly a good enough friend to Haku. He would have to make up for all of those bruises somehow. Sasuke took the picture from Haku and looked it over. A little smile crossed his face. He placed it back next to Haku and laughed a little.
"Naruto should be the one in the balcony." He smiled down at Haku, but the smile quickly disappeared. He got down onto the floor so the two were at eye level. He put a hand on Haku's shoulder and looked him in the eyes, "But seriously, what's on your mind?" Sasuke propped his chin on this other arm, which was now on the bed.

Haku shrugged and sighed. "I'm not sure. I might have made a new friend today but I'm not sure...but I just have this nagging feeling that something happened. But, it's nothing. Just me getting all silly and thing life is a manga again." Haku said with a smile, closing his sketchbook and standing up. "Come on Sasuke-kun, you must be hungry, I know you didn't really eat much this morning." The elder held out his hand towards the younger. "And we've got gym after this then training. We'll need to have enerhy for those two classes. And maybe Kendo if you signed up for that too."
