When Aluure sees who comes through the door, something inside her wants to jump up and dance around, and then faint. In control of herself and also not wanting to embarrass the royal family, she stays where she is and smiles broadly as she bows her head. Her hand gives Kel's hand a slight squeeze. Things will be alright now Kel, just hang on.
(heheh yup, no pressure... none at all xp ))

((wow, you really don't like giving me a lot to work with do you >< apparently your character never talks blaugh ))
Seere stands, his serene smile on his pale face. He bows his head , closing his emerald eyes, identical to his sisters "My Lady Diandriel" he greets his elder sister in the normal respectful fasion.
Diandriel couldn't help a warm smile from spreading on her face as she hugs her sibling. She lifts his head in her hands "we will talk later" she looks down at Kel. 'At the moment it would appear there is something else demanding my attention" she pauses for a moment. "Oh, and I found something of yours" she leans back, opens the door and whistles. Fion swoops quickly into the Den, landing with a rush of wind on Seere's arm band. With a flick of her wrist Diandriel un-dos teh clasp holding her forest green cloak in place and lays it on the back of a nearby chair. The Den had fallen silent upon the famed Princess' arrival. She was the hope of many elves who had left the Emerald Wood due to the tyrant of a king, and they wanted to see what she would do. "Luuva" Seere's bodygaurd snaps to attention "Will you go to my room and get my packs" she tosses the key to Luuva who nods smartly and turns to rush up the stairs. Diandriel then kneel's beside Aluure "Now my dear, would you be able to tell me what happened to your brother?"

((well.. Dia is a princess and Aluure is a commoner... and.. really... yeah... I also didn't know what to say xD what would you say to a princess who is pretty much your idol but you don't want to look or sound like a idiotic fangirl? And Kel... he's pretty unconscious atm...=P))
A shaky smile tilts Aluure's mouth. Nodding, she looks from her brother's face, to the Princess, to the others in the tavern and back to the Princess. "Well, we were attacked by orcs my lady. It was nearly dusk and they came. An oak was able to tell me in time for me to warn my brother. He was cooking you see. There were four of them, but Kel was able to defeat them. Bu--But he took a hit and I tried healing it, but I'm not strong enough in the healing arts, and I couldn't fully heal him because..." The last coming in a burst of panic as the anxiety she had been feeling the entire time of her bring Kel to Corssroads, but kept bottled, came exploding out. Realizing what she was doing, Aluure lowers her head, squeezes her eyes shut and takes a couple deep breathes. They were shakey, but they did calm her down a bit enough to continue. Lifting her head once more she glances around again and then leans towards Dia and says in a rasping whisper, "because there was something on the blade. And..." glancing around again, Aluure reaches under her cloak and takes out a foot long object wrapped in cloth, "I don't know what it is." Setting the wrapped object between her and the princess, Aluure pleads with her eyes while in her mind, she pleads with the Gods to save her brother.

((touche'))
Diandriel looks from Aluures' paniced face to the wrapped object on the ground. For the time being she pushes the childs comment about the oak talking to her to the back of her mind. now was not the time to discover another Earth mage. With care she un-wraps the blade, careful to keep her pale hands away from the dark stain along its edge. She studies it for a long moment. Luuva returns with Diandriel's twin saddle bags and sets then down beside the princess. "This blade looks to be teh same make as those the stray orcs in the wood use. It is crude and its edges are not as smooth as the weapons made by teh Drow that his main force uses." she pauses for another moment "but I have never heard of them using poisons before" she scrunches up her eyes in concentration. "But if it is a blade from the Wood Orcs, then the poison must be made of something from this area" She pauses agin in her tirade of thoughts spoken aloud.

I'll post Aluure after I calm down D... sorry... evil ))

((Eve's right, in real life I am very scary twisted and I bite blaugh but she is right, if its only two pages you are expected to read it so you know what’s going on If it was like 10 pages, and you had been away due to school and what not and had let me know in advance then I would have kept a tally of what’s happening, but not for only two pages!))
She pulls one of her saddle bags closer and roots around in it. In those two bags Diandriel kept samples of every plant she came across. With her power, she had the ability to use the sample and a small patch of dirt to grow enough of the plant to use it. It helped greatly when it came to healing, since she didn't need to carry the large satchels that most healers had to carry. She pulls out several small leather packages and places them beside her. She then gingerly lifts the blade and sniffs the dark stain on the end. It smelled of blood, but there was a faint odour under it. Something familiar! She begins picking up the pouches, opening them and smelling their contents. Most she sets to her right, but three she sets to her left. Once that process was over she puts the ones on her right away in the saddle bags and moved the ones from her left in front of her. Laying them open reveals three small plant samples, some crunched leaves, stem, and what appears to be some root in the mix. One was a deep purple color and gave off a pungent smell that overpowered the other two. She points to it. " Saura root" she announces, lifting a tiny amount of the plant "it’s not dangerous really, but its smell tends to mask that of more dangerous plants. it has been known to kill deer and other grazers who eat a patch of it, drawn by the fragrance. sadly more dangerous plants enjoy the same growing conditions and are eaten as well." She places the sample back on the ground. She holds up another sample, that looked like a powdered bark. “Emerald Oak Bark. Its not really dangerous, but the trees defense is that its bark can cause a fever. Its discourages animals from eating it. Its the reason the Wood is so full of Emerald oaks. It is likely what caused his fever, but the effects will wear off in a day or so” she places that sample down and holds up teh last one. It was a sickly green color, and the leaves looked almost slimy then way the drooped and the way teh shades of green mixed on the surface. “Laiwa” she says, holding it slightly away from her face. “This is likely what caused his sickness. It grows often with Saura Root, which is probably why the Saura root was added to the poison. Laiwa attacks a persons mental state, causing hallucinations, loss of coordination. The victim tends to mutter incoherently before loosing consciousness.” She places the last sample down before looking up at Aluure. “Did I describe your brother symptoms correctly?” she asks.

"It didn't occur to me that his symptoms were from plants. I just thought his fever was from the wound itself, with the fever producing the delirium." Aluure murmurs mostly to herself. Her eyes wide with fascination and wonder as she watched the princess at work. Realizing Dia had asked her a question, she snaps to attention and quickly nods, "oh, yes my lady. I knew there was an anomaly, but it being from plants... I just hadn't thought..." Shaking her head to clear her rambling thoughts, she focuses on Dia once more, "So now that you know what it was made of, is there a cure to the toxin?" Looking back at Kel's pain pinched face, Aluure's hand tightens even more around his, a slight attempt and hope that her strength might transfer over to him. However, with the contact, she had been sensing the poison spreading farther and farther through his feverish body which wasn't helping her stay calm. She had been keeping her panic about the spreading infection mostly at bay, so to distance herself in order to have hope and not despair. But then, now that Dia was here and the cure seeming so close, her tether on that panic was starting to fray and loosen. Hugging their clasped hands to her chest, her lips tremble slightly even while pursed, as she curses her lack of knowledge and power.

Dia offers a reasurring smile. "Almost every poison created in this land can be traced back to simple everyday plants. Nothing can be made form nothing, everything must be made from something. Every resource we have comes at one point from the earth" she pauses for a moment as she concentrates on carefully wrapping the Laiwa , "As such when one is learned in the lore of our plants, recognizing and breaking down poisons becomes simple." She makes a face "Its even simpler when the maker of the poison is nothing but a stupid orc." She places the packages back in her saddle bag, pushes that bag away and draws the other one over to her. "To answer your question, there is a cure" she empties out her second saddle bag before looking up at Aluure again "When you are as old as I am, and you have this much time to study and learn the plants that grow in your homeland, you begin to learn how they react to eachother." She begins sniffing at different packages. "The easiest way to identify different herbs and healers is by scent" she explains as she holds packages to her nose one at a time. "there is no need to remedy the saura root, since it causes nothing more then a bad taste in your mouth. The Oak Bark causes discomfort, but it will wear off shortly and his fever should go down" she smiles slightly, though grimly "Unless his fever is also caused by the wound, as you said, in which case I will later give him something for that" she pauses for a moment "likely some ground tulka stems steeped into a tea" she nods to herself. "now the Laiwa is our real problem. Without his mental state restored he cannot aid me in healing the wound itself and any other aches and pains that are a aide effect of the laiwa." The grim smile returns to her face. "lLaiwa can be fatal if left untreated for too long." she goes back to rooting through her samples. Finally she smiles after sniffing one packet and pushes all the others aside. She opens the packet to reveal a sample of flame red dust. "Ground naar" she states "it is not common in this area. There is almost none left growing wild in the Emerald Wood, though we do keep stalks of it in our gardens at home." she takes out another bag, slightly larger then all the others. She opens it and pours most of its contents onto the ground. Soil! She then takes a pinchful of the naar and places it on the patch of soil, pushing it in slightly with her finger. With a glance up at Aluure's worried face Diandriel holds her hands over top of the patch of soil. Her eyes begin to glow an eerie green. her full concentration is on teh sample. Within a few breaths, a tiny red shoot begins to sprout out of the soil. It grows larger and larger, until it is about a foot high. the plant is tall and slender, with thin lance shapes leaves growing upwards along the stalk. Diandriel draws her knife from her hidden sheath strapped to her leg and quickly cuts down the stalk. "I wish Tim were here" she mutters. Seeing Seere's confused face she adds "the plant is most potent when dried. Tenjina could use her element to dry the sample quickly for me simply by heating up her hands" Luuva swallows and looks guiltily to the burnt hand print on the table. Diandriel sighs. "It would seem I am going to have to do this the long way" she looks over to the hearth.

((Sorry for my inactiveness lately, I've been buisy and was wanting to let you to do some talking befor I made a post))
After what seemed like a lifetime Arigoth and Ryku had made it within looking distance of the party of Orcs. "Hmmm, look Ryku it is true Orcs in broad daylight." He said as he looked to Ryku then to the orcs as he pointed them out. One of the passing orcs happend to look up to where Arigoth and Ryku were standing and looked over to another orc, "We're being followed." He said to one of the other orcs, Which caused it to look up and see them, he said nothing at first but then let out a gigantic and rather loud roar to get the others attention. From a greater distance away this roar would've seemed like a battle horn that could quite possibly be heard all the way back at crossroads. The rest of the party of orcs looked up and all at once the party of orcs started to run almost in full sprint towards Arigoth and Ryku Arigoth said nothing, he merely smirked and looked down to Ryku and nodded as he took out his bow and three arows and stuck two of them into the ground and knocked the other one to his bow. He aimed carefully and Shot it it his one of the orcs in the neck ,which was the only part of thier body that was exposed, the blow took down the orc but that still left at least 11 more on the rampage.

Still hugging her brother's hand, she watches with fascination, a rapt attention on the princess. Her mind greedily absorbing her words and the whiffs of the plants as she was opening the small samples. Being so near the Princess and all the bits of plants seem to call to Aluure. When her mother, Aerandir, had been teaching her the Water god's healing ways, Aluure always struggled with the art. her healing ability was meager compared to her mother. But she always just assumed she was not strong or talented enough yet. Time, her mother kept saying. However, watching the earthen power Dia wields, Aluure begins to wonder. Where do I belong?

Diandriel watches Aluure carefully the whole time she is sorting through her herbs. Now that she had teh one she wanted, there was no need for any order to them. "If you wish you are free to see what I carry. Perhaps you could find something to aid his inevitable headache when he wakes up" Diandriel offers as she gathers up the stalk. She walks over the hearth and quickly and efficiently cuts the stalk into shorter peices, removing teh lance shapes leaves as she does so. She places the stalk pieces in a pan Taharl had brought from the kicthen, moving it constantly as the fresh stalk slwoly dries. After about ten minutes she removes ths pan and carries it back over to a table near where Kel was laying. She dumps the dried stalk onto the table and grathers up on of her packs. From it she grabs a mortar and pestal and begins to quickly and efficiently crush the dried stalk into a fine powder. When she finishes, the first thing she does is take a sample of the powder and places it in the bag where she had originally gotten the naar. The entire process had taken approximatly fifteen minutes. Diandriel collects a kettle of boiling water and a round clay bowl from Taharl before she moves back to the floor beside Kel.

The orcs neared as Arigoth knocked another arrow and aimed. He aimed for the same spot as he did on the last orc, but this one was much larger. Arigoth let go of the arrow and it flew threw the air, but had missed it's mark and hit the orc in the armor just below the neck. "Damn" Arigoth whisperd as he knocked another arrow and fired at the same orc. This time though he hit his mark and the orc went down as the previous one had. Arigoth then drew both of his swords and took a battle stance. As the orcs neared him Arigoth clentched the handle on his swords and the blades started to glow red and simmer and smoke. Ryku crouched down and roared looking very feirce and blood thirsty. The first orc aproached Arigoth and Arigoth span in a Tornado motion slicing the orc in two with the swords and the orcs body hit the ground the blood from his body simmering. Arigoth crouched readying himself for the others that were only seconds behind him.

Still hugging Kel's hand to her chest she glances from Dia to the pack to her brother. The indecision and conflicting impulses shows on her face. When the princess goes to dry the naar, Aluure's lips tightly press together as she stares at the pack. Looking at her, one might think she was trying to will it towards her. With a slight nod she doesn't even realize she's done, she holds firmly to kel's hand and scoots closer to the princesses pack. Tentatively she reaches for it. Her fingers touching the supple material, her eyes close shut tightly as her hand grasps the bag and jerkily tugs. Peeking open an eye, she looks around as if expecting some destructive divine hand coming down to smite her any second. After a few moments go by, and nothing happens, Aluure relaxes and looks down at the collection of herbs. With one hand, she carefully picks up a single sample and tentatively sniffs the opening. As she inspects a few others, she distantly is aware that the princess had been doing things and was now back. When full realization hits, she looks up, her nose still pressed to the opening of the small bag as she looks up at the princess, a deep flush creeps up her cheeks.
