Neoxis heard what Shaydra said, but still focoused his eyes on Sigilos. "I can assure you, miss, that our kind can be hurt, and can be beaten. What people like you dont see, is that we can only do what we have seen before, and even then the spells that we mimic are weaker forms, more likely than not to be modifications. You all can call me Neoxis, what can i call you?" At that he shifted back to his more regular posture.

Lex piped up, even though he was not talking to her. "My name is Lex, pleased to meet you!" She walked up to him and held out a hand, forgeting about cosequences.

Sigilos relaxed, smoothing himself back to normal posture. He pumped his wings once, and floated up to the level of the other male.
*No, I haven't heard of a Wind Guru, or a mimic. And you might be as old as me, I'm not really too old compared to the rest of my race. I'm only 13,266. To a human way of thinking, that's the same as about 23. Nice to meet you, anyway.*
He held out one paw, keeping his wing beats the same as the other males, so they rose and fell at the same time.

Neoxis smiled, and shook both hands. "Well im only 13,260, only a little younger than you. We better go to the pub and get your friend. People around here are friendly but if they dont think you have talked with a guard yet, lets just say you wont be liking yourself in the morning." Neoxis turned around to follow the fox's scent.

Shaydra blinked. "No greeting for me? Very well." She inched a little closer to the entrance of the gates, keeping her eye on the dagger thrower.

Lex was wary at his sudden kindness, ut she followed anyway. She morphed into a tiger and walked behind Neoxis, looking around for Zinc.

She jerked her head around. "Who, me?" she said, confused. "Not really, maybe just meet a friend, if he is here, and buy a few things for myself. Oh, and maybe I should send a message. Does this town have courier birds?"

Shaydra considered the question. "Well, I hail as Shaydra Duske Silversky. My companion, if he is here, would be named Shaklaan Shaede Grispuke, a black dragon but still quite...friendly." She tilted her head. "Would you, perhaps, know of him?"

Lex walked over and sat down next to Shaydra, still as a tiger. 'Hmm, this Neoxis guy seems weird...' she thought. She looked up at Shaydra to see if she thought the same way, but her eyes showed no sign of second thoughts.
