(Alright, getting right back into the thick of things then.)
A few hours pass before your mage friend returns to you. "It's begun," he says. As you guys make ready to return to the bunker, he informs you that magical detection has revealed several breaches in the tunnel walls and the army calling for reinforcements.
------
The scene at the palace is panic and you don't have much trouble sneaking underground through one of the large flights of stairs.
The mage points straight ahead. "That is the main area of the military base. It is the assembly point for most of the soldiers and the hub of the complex, and so will be their first target if they mean to secure the bunker." Pointing to the right, he informs you that the breach came from there, then he points to the left. "The crystal is there."
Looking at the halls in front of you and to your sides you see several dead soldiers and a few dead demons, indicating that the demons have already arrived in sufficient numbers to flood the complex. Either that, or they are sending a vanguard to attempt to quickly secure the crystal before cutting off the main body of troops.
"We need to get the crystal before the demons do. This entire complex is blocked from teleportation, so we'll need to go on foot. You can either come with me or try to help out the main body of soldiers, but I am going now to get the crystal."

"What good would helping the troops do if the demons are already at the crystal?"
Gerbo proclaimed.
"We must secure the crystal! quickly lets go!"

I agree, the crystal is the most important objective and the most logical choice.

(Sweetness! Things are back up and running again. I almost had to quit gaia again.)
Regal readied his gear and followed the rest of them to the crystal.
"Ok bring on the demons! Lets see how they fare againstthe might of the, um, mighty Red Dragon!"

(It's hard out here for a procrastinator.)
You step through the hallway and over the bodies of several more soldiers and a few more demons. It's pretty much assured now that the demons are already going after the crystal.
Moving swiftly through the halls, you come across three Breakers (Brown Demons). They stand guarding a small doorway, which seems to be made of metal with large cut gems embedded in it.
"Do you think you can handle them?" your mage friend asks. "I'll move through and try to get to the crystal. If you can hold them off and find me when you defeat them, we'll save more time."

Gerbo looked over the mage.
"Yes we can take them! Go on!! We will find you!"
Looking back towards the party, Gerbo said in a low tone.
"Ok so these guys aren't going to go down easy... my magic cant do to much damage... Team up on one and we will widdle there numbers down! Regal... Keep them off of me ok?"
Gerbo then charged a large fireball into his hands.
"Hey you mister Rock thing! You want a piece of this?? HAVE IT!"
Gerbo said as the ball of orange and red death flew at the creature full force.
(ok then, um dice for defense, fireball full force on Breaker 1)

Regal runs in front of Gerbo attempting to block the massive rock creature from crushing the gnome into a pulp.
"Stand back Gerbo! I got you then... Since you asked so nicely!"
Regal then sliced at the first breaker with a massive slice of his sword.
(taunt anything attacking Gerbo, attack same breaker, dice for attack)

Okay, I guess this comes down to how do you guys want to do this, I guess? The dice seem to be disabled at the moment, though there are a few ways to circumvent that, such as just me rolling with my dice on my table here, or commandeering a thread in Chatterbox (likely the easiest).
Also, either way, this combat will need to be toned down since you lost a third of your membership. Or we can just say "to heck with it" for the combat and do the rest of the adventure as being sans combat.

(feel free to roll the dice yourself GC, we trust you! What you could do is instead of the 3 Breakers we were fighting, scale it down to 2 of them, or 1 plus a few Gusters or something. The final word is going to be up to you, but since we have not had 1 single resolution post for this particular combat, then i think its ok for us to poof back to the start without Regal. So take it away, el capitan!)
