I'm sure people have probably been keylogged and hacked that way. I don't know if they got the keylogger from gaia or from elsewhere though. Right now we're having problems with cookie grabbers in people's marketplace stores and sometimes even profiles.

Well, i raced a few days ago, and the guy said he had 15k, so i won and i was suppoded to get 1k, he said he thought a k was a g (stupid!) so i still havent gotten it. b*****d.

I'm not stupid and have been attempted to be scammed over ten times so I found this one to be super funny!

I've never been hacked or scammer, but a guy PMed me last week claiming to be Peasant telling me to donate to him so I'd win the Giveaway.

 Luckily, I have never been scammed. The only thing that has ever happened to me was that I got hacked the first few weeks I started playing Gaia. My poor friend got scammed, though. It was that one where yout trade one of your items for one of those giftbox present thingys, and when you open it, you get some noobish item. =/

A guy ATTEMPTED to scam me by offering certain items for my Sash, which only added up to 6mil...If I see him in the Exchange again [he's always there...] I'm gonna have to ignore him. Dx Relax...

when I was a newb, I got scammed out of horns of the demon, winged anklets, steel plated ninja band, angelic headband, kitsune mask, goti clips (x2), demonic pitchfork, demonic pendant, and the staff of the angels. o.o Things were a lot cheaper back then so I didn't feel too bad. >.<;; If that happened again now, I'd....*shrugs* I dunno what I'd do. o.o Stare at the computer and become depressed at the fact that I've been wasting my life collecting pixels, only to lose even those...?
Eh, whatever. I've gotten everything back (except for the kitsune mask) + more and I've learned how to better protect myself from falling for online and real life scams. =] ...but I did come close to getting hacked again recently (stupid keyloggers D: ).

Centillion I've never been scammed, but one tried in 2006. I completely outwitted this one guy who told me he was a "secret admin" here, and I won a "secret giveaway". I asked him how long had he been there. He said "5 years." I told him Gaia hasnt been running for 5 years. Only 6. He said "thats what I meant." I then told him Gaia had only been running for 3 years, and then he said "thats what I meant." I then told him I was rich, and would actually donate to him. He immediately gave me his "real" account to trade with. Then I reported it. xd OWN! *applause* rofl

Also, whenever I go on a site that directs you to another, I just look at what I was looking for, get off quickly, change my password, close that window, make another window and log in Gaia there, then change my password there. I'm VERY protective. ninja

A few hours ago when I logged on. I got a message from somebody named
MOD Kolcose, saying that my account would be on a six month suspension if I don't post my user name, password and the reason why I'm innocent. I didn't fill out the form because, mods and admins have a different colored name, mods and admins don't ask for passwords or use outside sites asking for your Gaia password, and he/she wasn't an official of Gaia. I decided to report him/her.
