Her maroon eyes slightly saddened,'Was the thing that killed Irene's village the same thing that killed mine and Lucian's?'Kaori asked herself staring at the fire.

Aubrey sighed and moved the meat over to the side.
"Sorry, I forgot... Living out here for so long, you have to abandon some parts of the code." In the code, you could only eat things that died of natural causes. These, obviously didn't.
"What's wrong?"

Kaori didn't move she simply looked at Lucian from over her knees,"I was just....well it's nothing to worry about."Kaori placed a fake smile on her face. Kaori looked away from them.
Images of her village being slaughtered ran through her head.

"Tell me, getting it off your chest'll help." Lucian scooted closer to her and tried to get her to look at him.
"Hm? What is it?"

Kaori kept her eyes away from his, she felt if she couldn't see him she wouldn't have to talk. she hated remembering her past, all of it.
She lost Lucian, then after he left she had no more friends. and last their village was destroyed. Her past was nothing but dreadful. she didn't want to tell him, she didn't want to remember any of it. ((That's why I use only one name, it's easier like that, but it's not bothering anyone so don't worry about it^^))

Lucian sighed.
"I understand." Lucian sat back in his normal spot and munched on his rabbit.
"Well, where are we heading?"

Kaori looked back at Lucian and dropped her ears and her tail curled around her,"I'm sorry, Lucian."Kaori whispered knowing his hearing could pick up what she had said. Kaori didn't want him to feel as though she didn't trust him with her feelings, but she didn't have the strength to talk about it.

Kaori kept her ears down and nodded to Lucian, she still felt slightly bad for not telling him,'He deserves to know. It was his village too.'Kaori thought herself.

"The man that killed my parents went toward the mountains, and that was where I was origionally heading. So I guess we're going that way. It's my best bet anyway." Irene noticed another voice and looked behind her. There was someone there. "Oh, sorry. Who are you?" Irene asked the stranger. 'I wonder if he's neko too, like Lucian and Kaori. It's amazing he found us out here.' She thought.

Lucian kepts his eyes on Kaori a moment longer, thinking...
"The mountains? To the mountains it is then!" He smiled, and stood up. As Irene adressed the stranger, Lucian tilted his head and then offered him a rabbit, his tail swaying from side to side and his ears twitching.

Irene smiled at Siaxu. "Well, nice to see you. Want a rabbit?" Irene asked pointing to the one Lucian was offering. Irene looked like a thought just struck her. "Wait, you live in the mountains? Have you seen a man with short black hair and blue eyes?"
