I also like what's going on with the Black Sisters. And having the elder pop up running that restaurant was pretty funny too. If Nia kicks it... ninja [/*****, I think it's great the differences between them getting shown, though fang-tan seems to be the odd one out, as the supporting role. I seriously want to shop a 'bitches don't know bout my Mole Pig Steak'.

I thought the bit where Nia brought Simon a lunch and Rossiu had that painful recollection of eating her cooking was amusing.
And I really do wonder what happened to Rossiu in the last 7 years.

Cynder Is anyone else sensing a possibly epic team up in the future of two certain main characters? I'm thinking that Yoko is gonna bust Simon out. I also suspect that she'll be busting Viral out and it might be revealed that she's been working on him as a member of the resistance.

On the other hand, he does seem like the only one who has any clue as to what direction the group ought to take other than "Charge in and break it."
I do really like where they've taken the show. What with the really good first portion, I was worried they might have trouble living up to that, but they're going it splendidly. I'm really excited about Gurren-Lagann again! 4laugh

Also, I'd just like to really praise the artistic choice in having the Anti-Spirals look nothing like any of the other mechs. It really is a very good way of visually representing just how alien they are from the rest of the series. The Ganmen, while sometimes unique, didn't deviate that far. That was fully intentional, as we've learned. But to see them then take the new enemies, something completely different, and make them so...different. That really is a nice touch.

19th episode ... NICE.
Rossiu's acceptance factor went up a little for me. He is ever so close to the complete and utter tightwad jackass line, but you can still see what he is trying to do. Reminds me a bit of Gendo, actually ... but Rossiu is caught up too much in playing the "public servant" politician. Gendo just went and did whatever was necessary, public opinion be damned.
And ... that last scene ... Skizz should squee ever so slightly. 3nodding
