Cal didn't throw the cat off, but grabbed it by it's scruff and held it...He liked animals. But that friggin bird just got on his nerves...This cat was cute though...He had had a cat back when he was human.The dark feline didn't claw Cal again though. Before it had just been alarmed. Now it purred slightly as Cal held it close to him. It was a cold night...He continued to walk towards their building though, the cat resting on his arms, Emute close behind.

"Sure I wouldn't..."He muttered sarcastically, loud enough for the both of them to hear.The cat climbed over Cal's coat to balance on his shoulder.He pushed open the door, and the feline stayed were it was as Cal walked up the two flights to the room were Emute and Cal stayed during the day.

Cal could hear Emute lagging behind, but didn't stop until he reached the room, pushing open the door. He sighed, seeing that it was empty as usual. Good. He let the cat jump down from his shoulder. It settled itself in a corner of the room, as if waiting for Cal. He stood near the doorway though, waiting for Emute. The dark feline got up eventually and walked to were Cal stood. He leaned down to pick it up and held it in his arms.

Cal smiled, "Yes, my feline doesn't like Fantasme." He answered, letting the door shut after she entered.He sat down with his back to it. The cat settled itself in his lap, obviously comfortable.

Cal picked it up from where it lay a foot or two from him. Cal repositioned himself, looking at the old scroll. It was weathered and yellowed. He didn't unfold it just yet though."What the hell's this?" He asked, inspecting it from the outside. The cat sniffed it, then wrinkled it's nose at the moldy smell that came from it.

Cal raised an eyebrow, unrolling it and setting it in front of him. The cat went and sat on one end so it wouldn't roll up again.It lay down, tucking it's paws underneath itself, inspecting the paper. "A Family Tree?" He asked, reading the title. This was a big family...The top birth date was almost 100 BC...

Cal looked up at her, remembering his Father..."Which side?" He asked, continuing to read it. He sighed, seeing that freak Pheonix on it, then...him...Cal's eyebrows furrowed together."Sierra.."He said, seeing that his only relative was a girl that was sister to Pheonix's father...Cal's eyes wandered over the paper, seeing Emute's name..Ha.That ruined her chances.How comical.
