Edward Scissorhands. That was the movie that really got me started with his movies. Then I'm like "HAY THAR MAUM CAN WE GIT BENNY AND JOOOON?" lol just kidding, but I love Benny and Joon. Finding Neverland made me cry so hard. Absolutely dreadful. But all the same, his movies kindof inspire me to become a better person and improve myself. I have no idea why, but they have changed me just a wee bit.

Hmm I never knew much of Johnny until POTC then I saw Secret Window. I then saw Blow, Cry baby etc..
The first movie I ever saw him in was Platoon.

Hmmm...I started likeing him because of PotC one. but mostly just his charecter. Soon I got more interested in Depp as a whole and now like seeing his movies and such.
I think i stared with PotC 1, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, sleepy hollow, PotC 2, The Ninth Gate and Secret Window
=P not many movies though

I first got hooked on Depp when he was in Edward Scissorhands. That was the first movie I ever saw him in.

When I saw Edward sissorhands I was in awe of this actor and the story... I would have been like 6 or 7. I later saw What's eating Gilbert Grape and Benny and Joon. I soon discovered this actor was Johnny Depp and I was fascinated.

I don't remember really how I first got hooked...
But Johnny Depp was one of my first favourite actors and he didn't disappear from my personal favourite actors list ever since.
Sometimes he faded a bit under the sudden attack of a new object of desire (I mean a new hot actor I'd discovered lol ) but then he came back in an even better shape. blaugh
I'll mention some movies that attracted my attention again to him:
Edward Scissorhands
What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (though I prefer Leonardo DiCaprio's performance there)
Don Juan DeMarco
Sleepy Hollow
Chocolat
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Finding Neverland (at the moment my favourite movie with JD)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

I was over at a friend's house, and we started talking about our favorite movies. He said "The Ninth Gate. Without a doubt." I said I had nver seen it. History is as follows:
Him: eek
.......
Are you serious?
Me: Yeah, why? Is it really good?
H: Only the best movie EVER!
M: Wow, really?
H: Yes, and I have it on VHS. Call your Mom, we're going to watch it now.'
M:Um, okay sweatdrop
The rest, as they say, is history.

My mom always liked him and she would rent his movies a lot and I came to realize as I got older how much of a great actor he is. Then Pirates of the Caribbean came out, and I didn't only want to see it because of him, I loved pirates and I had this weird feeling about it...
So we saw it on the first day and he then officially became my favorite actor heart .

My mom loves watching horror movies..and let me watch them too as a child. When I was 7..and Nightmare on Elm Street 1 first came out, I was allowed to watch it. I do have to say that I thought Johnny was absolutely ADORABLE & developed a huge crush on him lol. After that, I continued watching each of his movies that he starred in & have done that ever since. I truely love his acting..and what he brings to the movie he's in...and his hot looks don't hurt none either lol. I think he's as amazing as he was when I first saw him..and that was 22 years ago!

I had no idea who Johnny Depp was until I watched POTC. I remember thinking eww this guy is gross. WOW. Boy was I clueless.
Then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory came out. I fell in love with this movie and everything about it. I especially LOVED the director TIM BURTON! I became obsessed with Tim burton and watched all of his movies, Ed Wood, Edward Sissorhands etc., and I didn't notice that Johnny starred in all of them. Huh, well that shows how versitile Depp can be! Finally..... I realized oooo my gosh this is the same guy, holy mother bleep this guy is amazing! Luckly, after that bit of confusion, my potrayal of Captin Jack has changed, and POTC rox my socks!
Yep that's how it happened. lol mrgreen
