Location: Illinois, USA (I really hate living here, but strangely, if I hadn't moved here, I never would have started listening to Queen.)
Interests: Reading, Singing(I'm a chorus geek :p), playing video games, watching tv, going online, feeding my tamagotchi
Other Favorite Bands: Foreigner, Styx, Freezepop( cry ), and Within Temptation
Favorite Member of Queen: I'm a Freddie girl :p. I think my main reason for Freddie is that I have to respect his ability to sing, I've never heard anybody even come close to him, and his voice is just soothing to listen to. Never mind the fact that he's just so energetic and fun. ^^ I had to write a paper on somebody who inspired me, and I wrote it on Freddie, my teacher sent me an email right after he read it and said that I had the highest scoring paper in the class.
Queen Phase Started When: Don't laugh but....I didn't start listening to Queen until about a half a year ago...When I was little my parents didn't listen to much music, and hated buying cd's, so I was stuck with listening to the radio, which we didn't do often. About 8 months ago I started going to this store in the town I live in alot, SuperValue, I got to be really good friends with an employee, Ryan. He's a huge Queen fan, and has been since he was younger, he found out that I had never listened to Queen much, and bugged me about it till I started to download some Queen. Within a week I was so obsessed it was scary. 3nodding
Misc.
I love weird movies and musicals(Rocky Horror Picture Show, Party Monster, Rent, Chicago, Cats, Phantom of The Opera, etc.)with a passion. Alo of people don't realize that i'm naturally a blonde, I got really sick of people assuming I was dumb(it's happened EXTREMELY often)so I dyed my hair a really dark red. I have mood swings that could make a PMS'ing mom cringe. I talk alot. I ramble. I collect random things that remind me of when I was younger(Tamagotchi's, My Little Ponies, etc.). I still watch stuff like Power Rangers and Pokemon.
I feel like posting a picture so here, it's the best one I have of me, and it's not all that great. It's from my Homecoming dance a few months ago, that's Ryan next to me.

HI! I guess I'd be considered the newb here... cry Well, I guess everybody's got to be new sometime or other...

LOCATION: I'm usually immersed in a Queen album, so I don't really know where I am. xd
INTERESTS (besides from Queen): Writing. I'm working on a novel that I plan to publish and make into a series. It's actually quite good, if I may say so myself. wink I also like classic rock, guitar, singing, and, well, pretty much anything rock n' roll related, dears! Except for emo rock or that screaming junk where you can't even understand the words...I also like astronomy, but sadly I'm not very good at it.
Favorite Games: I like the Final Fantasy series, especially Final Fantasy VII. I also love the James Bond games!
Other Favorite Bands: The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Paul McCartney and Wings, Styx, and Fog Hat. I like the good old classics! rofl
Favorite Member of Queen: That is REALLY hard...I love Brian because he's so down-to-Earth, not to mention he's completely gorgeous and an awesome guitarist. Roger's really good, too; just gotta love those new purple shoes. But I guess my favorite member would have to be Freddie. We have a lot in common (both Virgoes, both like yellow, both like Some Like It Hot, the list goes on). I also admire him greatly. Not only his talent; I'm also awed at how he handled his last days on this Earth, as well as how hard he worked to achieve his dream: to be a rock star.
Favorite Queen Song: Innuendo is very moving; it's definitely my favorite. I also like I'm Going Slightly Mad and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy.
Queen Phase Started When...I first heard Another One Bites The Dust on the way to my best friend's birthday party when I was 7. I heard Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time when I was about 12, which made Queen my favorite band, but the obsession started just this past March when I saw the Live at Wembley Stadium DVD for the first time.
Misc.: I think I'm a banana tree...Oh, dear.
