Drifting off into her dreamland, Candy's muscles began to weaken. But before she let herself sleep, she wanted to make sure everyone was alright. Standing up, she tried to walk around without falling of fatigue.
"Is everybody doing okay?" she asked in a daze. Her knees shook, but kept her up nevertheless.
I want to make everything comfy for them... but what should I do? I wish I could cook for them... they look so hungry... but the strangers...? What did Kai see? Everybody should relax... but will somebody keep watch? They need rest, too...
In a way, she felt like she was mothering them too much. She couldn't help it, though, because she couldn't live right without nurturing or helping somebody. Even if growing up nearly killed her warm heart.

Kotarou leaned Asuka up against the wall instead of him and stood up, he walked over to Candy and put a hand on her shoulder "Get some rest, you need it. I'll keep an eye out for anything." he told her noticing she seemed tired yet also worrying about the group.
Asuka mearly continued to sleep.

"Are you sure...?" Candy asked softly as she turned around to face Kotarou. Her eyes were barely open, and her legs barely kept her up. She leaned on him for a little bit, but instantly fell asleep with a sigh.

Seeing as the new face had invited himself into the group, Taerel dismissed it with a shrug and a short sigh, returning deeper into the cave and laying down beside Domeki.
Domeki fought to keep his eyes open as his eyes cautiously went from one person to the other. He had to take responsibility for Taerel; because she certainly wouldn't.

Kotarou realizing she was asleep was left with only one option. He picked her up and carried her over and sat her down next to Asuka and leaned her up against the wall aswell. He turned back to the front of the cave and began walking to it. What am I doing? he thought to himself Why am I being so friendly? What is it about these people? he continued to think questioning his past actions as he sat down at the entrence of the cave. "Now's not the time to think about that." he said to himself as he looked out and around, watching for anything suspicious.

Taerel was both suprised and confused by the newcomer's actions. Why he felt so at home she still wondered. She tilted her head to the side and looked at the boy questioningly, frowning slightly.
She relaxed her shoulders and used Domeki as a pillow. She slowly closed her eyes and drifted off to a deep sleep.
Domeki looked at his surroundings, leaning against the cold stone wall. His large, yellow eyes was filled with anxiety as he wondered what their adventure would unfold for the two of them.

Amitia wasn't feeling sleepy at all. She would have liked to go outside and find out, what was going on, but had to tell herself not to by biting her lip hard. Finally she sat next to the wall and closed her eyes letting her body rest, but didn't fall asleep. "Tell me when you want to switch turns, I'm only resting. I simply can't sleep tonight", she said, relaxing slowly but surely. Sleepless nights were the bad side of her curiosity and observance. Luckily she could fall into some kind of state of deep rest.

Kotarou glanced back at Amitia when he heard her. "Alright." he said then turing to look at Asuka who was sound asleep. "Get your rest, we may need it later." he said softly then turned back to the front and resumed his watch.

Kai glanced around at the group, watching as everyone began to rest. It wouldn't be a bad idea. In journeys like the ones he was used to having, he would have to fall asleep any chance he got, so he could wake easier in a surprise of anykind. From sneak attacks, flash floods, rock slides, and the occasional Coyote chewing at his boots, he was well adapt to springing up in the morning, and running for his life. Kai folded his arms behind his head and leaned back, listening to Tyo snoring outside near the campfire. "Remember to get some rest too." He said to Kotarou, as his eye lids slide shut, and he didn't make another noise afterward, save for his breathing.

Skye went back into the cave where a pile of apples lay an the floor. He picked a bright red apple and pondered how someone could find an apple that red in a dark place. He bit into it and chewed happily. He finished his apple a few minutes later. Skye went deep into the large cave and gently set his back pack down. He lay his head down on the back pack, using it as a pillow.
Meanwhile, nearby Nomekia hovered at the entrance. She stayed soaring in small circles for a short while, then flew to Kotarou. She wanted to help him guarding the cave. She landed, perching on his shoulder.

"Yeah, I will." Kotarou responded to Kai though not turning around. He still couldn't understand his past actions. Is it because these people are nice? That they didn't regard me as crazy? That they can SEE Asuka? Maybe .... just maybe he thought to himself as Nomekia perched on his shoulder. Kotarou proceeded to pet the raven softly "So, your gonna help me watch huh?" he said to her.

Waking the the sound of light showers outside, Kai rose and yawned in the fresh early morning air. He did some stretches to get his blood pumping reguarly, and walked over to the edge of the cave. The sunlight penetrated through the thin clouds, creating a sort of eirie look as the rainfall dripped from the sky. He leaned against the door quietly, and crossed his arms, listening to the drops rattle the leaves of the tree next to the entrance, and tap along the grey stone outside. His clothes where slightly dampened, having been the unlucky one who slept near the channel of water that flowed down from the natural staircase, and soaked the stone where Kai laid.

Candy arose to the smell of fresh morning air. She rubbed her eyes with the palms of her hands and looked outside. Drawn by the rays of sunlight, she walked out of the cave making sure that her steps were silent.
Feeling the 'tears of the heavens' drip over her head, she stuck her tongue out and tried to catch a rain drop.
Myaah... was it snowflakes or rain? Both maybe? I hope this isn't acid rain. That would suck.
Once she caught one, she noticed that she was standing right before the edge of a small cliff. Being deathly afraid of heights, she crouched down and grasped a hold of the grass below her.
Blankly staring ahead, she wondered what happened last night.

Kai walked back into the cave, then up to the fire ashes, only to see Candy right next to the cliff, sitting still, clutching a clump of grass. It was awkward to see, but by this point, Kai didn't ask questions. "Be careful. The stone's slippery." He commented dryly, walking over to the damp ashes of what remained from the fire. Nothing looked salvagable.

Tilting her head slowly towards Kai, Candy smiled a funny looking panicky smile.
"Hehehe..." she nervously giggled. "Slippery... I should move back from this edge-HAHA... edge..."
By now, she was shaking in a foolish panic. Slowly she slid herself across the stone and crawled to the middle of the cave entrance.
"Hahaha..." she stuttered with her silly old smile. "G-good morning, Kai."
