No, he does both at the same time now, because he souped up that crazy-looking racing-engine grill he got so he could roar around on it. He was dumping loads of BBQ ribs all over Gaia during the Summer Festival.
A couple of days ago he came zooming into the Cookout and actually hauled a huge whole BBQ pig out of that thing! No way that could fit, unless he's made the grill dimensionally transcendental like his TARDIS! rolleyes That's just one more bit of crazy tinkering with offworld tech added to the mix that could add to the danger. He's really NOT that good at tinkering, not like the Doctor is...but no way will he ever admit it.
