"Rikku came earlier. She cant find the one who's supposed to be doing the job, so she's helped you as a temporary measure, till he shows up." Stretching again, she lays back down, and looks at the ceiling. "You were asleep while she did it."

"Ah..." He felt his hopes sink when he heard the one who was supposed to get rid of Mathadus couldn't be found. He sighs and lays his head back on the pillow.

"We'll find him, dont worry. If I have to go out and find him myself, we'll find him." She closed her eyes, though she wasnt planning on sleeping. She felt safe where she was, which was something she hadnt felt quite a lot of the time in the past, if Kinikki was around. This made her smile slightly, before she opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling once more.

Sighing, she remembers New Zealand. She used to lay like this on her own bed, and stare up at her own ceiling.. Till Jace had put goofy glow in the dark stars on it, and it had freaked her out. He'd spelt out the words 'I WILL KILL YOU', and hadnt told her before she went to sleep. She didnt sleep for weeks. Just stared at the words. "So, apart from the headache.. How are you? Your arm?"

"Umm." He looks down at one of his arms "..I can't feel or move that one, the other one is alright." He smiles slightly and looks back at her. "How's your ankle? I noticed you were limping."

"Its fine..It comes with getting tackled, then doing this weird surfing flying grabbing thing off a building, then landing with a Vampire on your leg." She smiled, then let out a small laugh. "I'm a New Zealander. I can handle it. Were tough. Ish."

He smiles and reaches his good arm over, taking one of her hands. "Us Texans are good for nothing but... Sounding dumb and saying dumb things... Yup, sounds just like me."

Entwining her fingers with his, she laughs. "I talk to fast, sometimes. If I get really angry. Jace said I used to sound like a Chihuahua on crack or something." She laughed at the memory. "Or, If I'm around water. I get a little tetchy then, too."

Grinning, she rolls over so she's on her front, still holding his hand. "Thats not true. You-" Using her spare hand, she holds up a finger at each point. "-Are Leader. You do a good job, despite what you think. You helped Arceli when she needed you, that shows you have a big heart. You helped me when you were.. You know. That shows strong mentality." She kissed his cheek, before raising an eyebrow. "Need I go on?"

"Your strong.. Well, stronger than me, anyway. You have really cool hair. You are, actually, quite smart. Your sweet, and your trustworthy. Did I mention you have really cool hair? You can sing, AND play the guitar. You ..Have girls falling over themselves to get, to you. You know how to defend yourself. You are a really nice person to chat to, really. Most of all, your lovable. And, you have cool hair." She grinned, before tucking some behind his ear. "No, I'll shut up now. Honest."

He opens his eyes and looks at her, he then smiles while gently running his fingers along her hand. "Awwww, but your hair is like, so much cooler than mine!" He laughs a bit then moves his hand to her cheek. "You're beautiful, very lovable, very beautiful, very fun to be with, very intelligent, very beautiful, very reliable and very cute... And you're the only one for me."
