When little pod phones give out like that it means part of the cord shorted out. Just buy new ones.

They're actually pretty inexpensive. They're usually around five to ten bucks.
Wal-Mart had really cheap ones for one buck, too.
They give me more privacy, and my family doesn't complain as much as they used to with the other kind.

I'm trying to use them less, though. I kinda wanna keep my hearing in the future...but that's all I can concentrate with.
