Sari couldn't help but giggle when she heared Kage's words. Isn't he overdoing it a bit? "You talk like a girl in love! Way too much!" She sent him a wink and childishly stuck out her tongue. "Mari! Don't you think so?" Mari's attention was momentarily caught by Sari when she heard her name. Realizing she was just asked a question she nodded and went back to messing with her jacket zipper. She wasn't really paying attention anyway so it didn't really matter to her what she was being asked. "Ninjutsu and Taijutsu are so much better than Genjutsu! Though, puppets are better than Genjutsu, it has nothing on Ninjutsu! Taijutsu though I'm not so sure of..." Sari was now off in her own little world where everything was no comparison to her Ninjutsu. It was bad though, because she didn't know very many jutsu at this point. I hope I can get some more training in some time...Hopefully before I find my jounin teacher and genin squad! That way I can be better than all of them! I hope Mari is on my team! We could be a great duo team!

Listening to the girl Sari ramble Tadashi decided to turn around and walk back over toward her with a smirk on his face. "Oh... so your so quick to doubt the power of genjutsu? I really don't think you or your sister could face mine. But are you willing to try and face it?" Tadashi asked Sari as he walked to about ten feet in front of her and then stopped. Even after his previous match he was sure he was ready to face these two at once even if need be. Another good training exercise if not so extreme as before. And he would have a lot of fun messing with the girls. "And how about this. If you agree the winner gets to choose what ever they want to looser to do."

Sari face now had an adorable little pout as he offered to fight. "Sorry to say, but I've had enough of betting and Mari is too tired to do anything. See? She's so tired she's off in her own world!" Mari, hearing her name, looked over to Sari again slowely. What was it she was talking about? She kept calling her name. This time, ignoring her, Mari went back to playing with her zipper. Up and down, just bored as hell and having nothing to do. "See?! She can't even hear us right now!" Sari knew what was going on with Mari but wasn't in the mood to fight again. She was still thrilled on getting to see and be in a fight. She wasn't particularly excited about going into another one.

Kage shook his head a bit as the boy began to speak about becoming a puppet, "No, not in a physical sense. More a mental state. You have to be able to remember the limits of your puppet. Unlike humans, puppets cannot overcome their limitations in the heat of battle. They are set to whatever point they have prior to the battle. In other words, if you believe your puppet can't handle something, take it out of battle right at the moment."
Kage then listened to the girls words. His eyes darted to the girls but he didn't turn his back to them at that moment. Tadashi would be in perfect position to see Kage's right eye glow that intimidating red. Finally, as she insulted the great arts of her forefathers, he spun around.
He soon pulled forth his scythe and looked to the girl, "And you cling to your sibling like your world will be destroyed if you two are even seperated, let alone seperated forever. You have not found a bond forged within the heat of battle. A bond that trandscends mere blood relations. And you speak of the Jutsu as if you are a Master already. You know nothing, therefore you understand nothing, and thus, are nothing. If you hold so little respect for any of the arts just because you see no use for them, then I wait happily for your death by their design so you may forever know your error."
He was pissed, no doubt. Granted, he didn't know a single genjutsu himself but he knew never to underestimate them...after all. That's how he got like this. A genjutsu placed on him forced him to kill Star's family and, in her rage, she killed him. To disrespect any art used by a shinobi or any warrior was to invite certain death by said art.
He then heard the girls objection to combat...he looked to the side and then to Sari, "Why do you not wish to battle him? He's been through combat once this day and still has the stamina to go on...although his usage of those accursed pills should be stimmed but thats for a later conversation. I say you fight him. Here and now. Without the aid of your sibling. If you do not, I'll kill you. If your sister joins in, I'll kill her then you. "
He was serious...he had very little in the way of jutsu without taking another of those strange rocks he had taken earlier but he was still mroe than fast enough to lop off a head or two.

Tadashi's eye's moved to the side as he looked at Kage behind him. Kage seemed really serious which made Tadashi on edge. He liked Kage but he would in no way let him touch either of the girls. Not before he died. Taking a moment to think he wondered why the hell he would take such risks. That was not like him at all. He would let anyone die before risking himself and he didn't even like the girls, but he felt responsible for their safety. Maybe because he had something to do with what was going on. Looking at Sari in front of him he spoke quietly to her, "I suggest you fight me. Other wise things look like they are going to be rather bad for you and your sister," finishing what he said he then spoke nice and loud. "So... choose how you want to be defeated. I would offer you a chance to even face my taijutsu but now I think it is more important that you face other powers of mine. Perhaps I can take you down with the most lowly of genjutsu."

Mari looked over to Kage and Sari for a split second. Seeing Kage reach for his weapon, Mari pulled Sari's arm and stuck herself between her sister and Kage, "You should know she speaks non-sense. If you were truely as smart as we thought you were you would realize that. Puppets are an important technique, just as the rest are. A way of art yes, but to think they are unbeatable would be pointless. Every technique has something more powerful that could defeat it." Mari's eyes looked into Kage's. She knew she was right. And if he was smart he'd put the damn weapon away. She knew she couldn't take him out. But she wasn't afraid of protecting her sister. "M-Mari..." Sari said quietly as she listened to Kage's words. She began to temble slightly when he said she'd die if she didn't do anything. She clung to the back of her sister's jacket, Mari could feel her sister shake. It got her even more irritated. "Just because you have a problem with the way other people think, doesn't give you the right to force them into something they do not wish to do." Her eyes became an even more piercing darker shade as she looked into his. She wasn't about to back down and let her sister do something Mari already knew she'd lose at. Mari, unlike Sari, thought things through before speaking.
Damn it Sari, what did you get yourself into... Mari had came out of her little daze for Sari's sake. She better not get herself into anything dangerous again! Hearing Tadashi's words, her head turned quickly to face him. A furiated look came on her face as she clenched her fists. What a disgusting sight. Men. All they want is a fight! When do they think of anything else? All they think of are fighting and women! Mari had officially lost what little respect she had for Tadashi from his fight. At this point, she was a bit too frustrated to think of anything else. Sari pulled herself closer to Mari, somewhat hiding from Kage. Burrying her face into her back, the last time Sari had been this scared was when her father came home drunk and tried to hit her. Mari had been there for her then too... It was sad...Sari depended on her sister way too much...When would she be able to defend herself? To be able to not hide behind her sister? She looked at her sister's face, the hate it seemed to have for both men at this point in time. Sari sighed, gathering her courage.
"F-Fine..." "Sari!" "No...He...He's right...I...need to stop relying on you so much...It's my choice Mari...Just...please don't interfere?" Sari smiled, shaking still. "Sari you already know how the fight will end!" "Yeah...I know...But still. Even if I lose it's a win/win situation. If I lose I can learn from my mistakes? Aren't those your own words?" Mari looked at Sari with mixed emotions. She'd protected her sister for so long. It was odd having to let her do her own thing. "Fine..." Sari stepped up to Tadashi. "Just...try not to kill me alright?" She sent him a scared smile. Trying not to think of what would happen later on. She knew it would be hard for her sister to stay in one place. Mari had a protective mother type thing going on for Sari. Mari really was the mother Sari had now. The two had protected eachother since their mother had died. "Well...let's...start..." Sari jumped back, away from Tadashi. More than likely she wasn't even going to make a single hit on him. He was way more experienced than she could ever be. All she could do now was attack first. Launching herself from her place, she sent a punch for his chest. It was all she had at this point. No good jutsu to attack with, her Taijutsu sucked, she knew nothing to get herself through it. It was easy to tell where this battle was going, even without the start of it. She didn't get very far with her attack though, she tripped on her own feet, making her fall towards Tadashi.

Kage looked to Mari, least there was some hope for this girl. He relaxed the scythe against his shoulder and looked to them again. "Each techinque...each ability has it's goods and downs. It's up to the shinobi to discern when and what to use and how. Your sister badmouths the techniques as if she were some sort of God of Ninja arts. If you wish to keep babying her then be gone. I wish not to see such ignorance of simple truths. Your deaths will be painful and forever lasting if you die in such throngs of ignorance and stupidity."
To be honest, he was trying more to make them self sufficient shinobi. There was nothing wrong with relying on others. Hell, Star and Kage's entie fighting style stemmed from reliance on one another. But to the same point, neither had to worry about the other if they were seperated because they knew they could take care of themsleves. They were both a group and their own shinobi.
"Mari...you defend your sister...that's fine...but do you plan to protect her for the rest of your life? Even if you two are alone in the world, you each have your own lives to live and will loose all if you cling to each other for eternity. Its good to be a strong team but if you two are seperated...only you will come back alive."

While Sari was off with Tadashi, Mari was left to deal with Kage. At least he had stopped with the weapon. "I'm well aware of everything. But...Really she's all I have." Her eyes left Kage to look at Sari. "It's not like we have anything else...With our father the way he is...And I...can't help but want to protect what I have..." Mari lifted her face up to Kage's. Quickly, she rubbed her eye, as if to hide the fact her eyes had started to tear up. She had tried to make it seem like she was just tired. Didn't really pass off well though. She couldn't have Kage see her being weak. She couldn't let anyone see that. The only person who could, would be her sister. The only person she trusted.

The way Mari looked at Tadashi gave him a sharp feeling inside his chest. As if he had betrayed her some how. The fight did seem pointless now. Especially since it seemed they all knew who would win. The point of the fight was already done and now it was really awkward.
As Sari attack Tadashi he felt extremely sorry for her. Her attack was pitiful and when she tripped it was the perfect opportunity for a nice attack but he couldn't bring himself to hit something so lame. Instead he stepped forward and opened his arms. Catching her in them he pulled her up against her body so she was standing firmly on her feet and then he let go.
He wasn't sure if he would be able to bring himself to hurt her at all. His genjutsu could affect her weak mind the rest of her life and he wouldn't harm such a body. Hitting such a beautiful girl would make him sick for a long time.

(bwahaha, he cannot hit such a cutie~! XD)
Sari's face turned red as she felt herself being caught by Tadashi. When she stood up straight she looked up to him. A look of uncertainty crossed her face. Why didn't he attack her? She jumped away from him quickly. Was it a trap!? Getting back into a fighting stance, she readied herself for an attack from him. He wasn't going to get the best of her by doing something like that! She was still scared and knew what would happen if she kept on, but it wasn't like she really had a choice. From what Kage had said, she only had one choice. Her body trembled at the though tof dieing or possibly dieing from Tadashi's attacks. Her thoughts were jumbled. With wanting to thank him, tell him to bug off, to smile at him, to give him the boot in a certain place she could make him cringe, and...for some odd reason to hug him for what he had done. All in all, she was thoroughly confused. Looking over at Kage and Mari for a moment, she saw Mari whipe her eyes. Oh no! Was something wrong?! She was about to call to her when she realized she still had a fight to do. Turning back to Tadashi, she now had a look that could easily be red as fear. Fear her sister was sad, that she could be hurt, and fear of what her father would do if he ever found out that she'd lost to someone. Taking a step forward, once more she tripped over her own feet. This time, she caught herself. She wasn't going to fall into him again.

Kage wasn't devoid of emotion. He knew exactly what Mari and Sari were going through. Well, ok, not exactly but he understood the general emotion that was there. It was similiar to what he and Star had, only not on a family level.
Star was all he had and vice versa. They'd go against the world if thats what it took. Nothing else would make him happy but to see her happy. But now his mind was on something else. So these girls father was in poor shape. He made note of it for later contemplation. As for now, he had to watch this.
"Your sister is her own person. There's nothing wrong with wanting to protect her..." He walked to stand before Mari. His imposing figure looming over her and soon he rested a hand in her hair, "I want you to understand that together, you and your sister can do many great things. But if you can only do it together, then you will fall if ever divided. What would be the point of protecting something that needed protecting every moment of every day. You'd waist so much time and energy protecting it that you'd never get to enjoy it. Thus defeating it's purpose..."
He looked to the fight..."If your sister is to fall, she has to fall on her own. If she is to succeed, she is to succeed on her own. Your help will only weaken her further...you must both develop as individuals and then bring that together to be a strong force..." since when the hell had one like Kage become so talkative....he looked to the side and scuffed. He felt old...like a teacher lecturing or something...maybe it was just his bordem...
Looking at the fight, he then decided that, while help wasn't something he normally did, he also didn't care for predictability. Star was to thank for that. So, raising his hands, he let loose chakra strings from his hand and grasp the standing boy. They were invisible to the naked eye. All he'd know is that something was holding him back. Restraining his abilities for some reason.
Kage's natural chakra was enough to restrain the boy but not control him. He'd only be a hinderence which was enough for the time.

Mari's eyes closed for a moment when she felt the weight of his hand on her head. She opened one eye to look up at him. His words were true. She knew them all too well. She had thought about the fact many times when she was keeping out for her sister while her dad walked around at night. Mari hadn't gotten very much sleep; She never did. She would always keep an eye out while her sister slept so that she could make sure her father didn't get in and hurt them. He always tried. Blaming them for killing their mother when it was not in their control. She lifted her hand to fall on his on her head. She smiled up at him a bit before he had seemed to do something else with his hands. Mari watched him, it seemed to have something to do with Tadashi. "Sir? What are you doing..." Her eyes stayed on his hands. It was...the same thing he had looked like when she was fighting Masa, and with Mura. Was he using some unseen force? Chakra? Was that the way he controlled the puppets as well? Was he takign control of Tadashi?

Tadashi smiled and looked straight at Kage. He could see the chakra string running between them. "That is fair I guess. But... I wonder if this shall work," putting his hands together he quickly ran through lightning fast signs. The soldier pill from earlier had already run out and its affect was no more. What Kage probably didn't realize is that almost any of Tadashi's talent came from actually physical power anyways. Even his taijutsu was only from being able to think fast and now with his eyes see through things better.
When Tadashi's hands stopped his genjtusu was cast but it was cast on all three of them there. Not just Sari. Tadashi didn't quite know if it would really work on a puppet though but it was worth the try. If he pulled this off to he would probably be the single most powerful genin in the village. This was after all the power he had kept hidden in the fight with Hiro.

((HA HA No genjutsu for me))
Hiro sat back and watch. He should have been training for the chunin exams but these people were quite interesting. He couldn't help but watch the sisters more then anything. It reminded him of his sister Mizu. The odd thing is the boy. Though it seemed Hiro was older and could hold his own for a short period of time he had not been able to beat him. It was the genjutsu that stopped him. There was only one answer. Kai. Hiro didnt leave to train it though. He would watch and try to stop Kage if things did turn on that road.
Kage and himself were very similar in many ways. He also understood what he was doing because he did it to Mizu all the time. Pushed her away for periods so she could fend for herself.

Mari took in a sharp beath when darkness seemed to fall around her. Looking around she saw nothing. Her face turned into a scowl as she realized what happened. That boy's genjutsu. She didn't know of a way to break free from it so she was stuck. More than likely along with her sister. What was that boy trying to do? Sari stumbled backwards and fell on her butt as she saw darkness surround her. Looking around desperately, she could see nothing and no-one. "H-Hello?!" Had she gone blind suddenly? What happened?! Unlike her sister, Sari never stopped to consider the causes of the situation. Frantically she stood, looking for someone that she couldn't find. She ran one way, and then the other. There was nothing there, to what she could see. She didn't get far before falling to her knees and starting to cry. She didn't like the dark. It was scary and she didn't like it... Mari... Mari looked around suddenly, catching hold of her sister's fright. She knew her sister was caught in it as well. Their thoughts were on an emotional level. Something that could go through a genjutsu, and perhaps even distance.
