kuori, sense rei's eye lids are merged and genjutsu needs eye contact. does that make rei imune to genjutsu? on the other end wouldn't sound jutsus do double or more damage becuse of the super hearing?]
ariving at the hospital sho watched the gypsies and ninjas file in to the hospital past two gaurds with his echo-location. running to the hospital on all fours with his long black hair flowing behind him. a gaurd grab him by the ankle as rei tried to hand spring off the grauds head to the wall. slipping off the first gaurds head rei fell on to the gaurds back thrashing. the second guard slung rei over his shoulder like a sack of feed.

But that isn't the point, since bombs are not technically electrical devices. A bomb explodes because of an exothermic chemical reaction - higher temperature quickens reaction rates - and destroys by sending forth a wave of energy. Hatsuyuki is short-fusing the bomb by slowing the chemical reaction gradually so that the reaction can't take place or, as little as possible. Besides that, Naruto technology is not complex like modern bombs and more falls under the more antique explosives. Hence why also theoretically, an easier task to disable.))

How long... The singular thought kept chanting over and over again in her mind but Hatsuyuki did her best not to mind it and concentrate rather on the task at hand. But how long indeed, before this bomb explodes...no, rather implode if she manages to steal enough of its energy. Perhaps she would be able to lessen the effects that the detonation wave would cause... No no. That wasn't a matter of question, she would have to make sure there is no detonation wave. It was too risky to take chances with whatever remains of the bomb's power and though she was slowing the reaction rate...still another would have to actually disable the device itself.

Batosai failed as his attack was in vain. "Dammit..." he thought. He then turned to the girl and looked at her efforts to defuse the bomb. "...I need to help and quick." He concluded as he jumped backwards to her location. Batosai immediatly let his guard down for three seconds and he channeled his chakra to assist her. He gave just enough chakra for her to finish the bomb. "Now you can finish the rest." he said to her

Hatsuyuki nodded lightly, grateful for Batosai's assistance, but did not break concentration on the bomb. Just a little more... But she of course could not afford to falter...messing up this time might mean the lives of all present in this building. And the injured patients were not in much of a condition to run. Hatsuyuki increased the Hyouton chakra surrounding the bomb, further sucking out its energy, or what little bits of it remain. Her goal was to channel her chakra past the bomb's metallic shell, directed at the inside, to take the energy and freeze the explosive contents. The fuse to the bomb had died long ago, flame smothered ruthlessly by Hatsuyuki's artic chakra. But the Hyouton princess would not relent until the bomb was ice cold...for certain unable to do any damage. The metal surface would not freeze, the pure metal being of the few superconductive types but a single finger pressed against the bomb's fuse, before ripping it out...satisfyingly concluded the sphere ice cold.

Baotsai stood still in fear as Hatsuyuki continued to disable the bomb. "Any sudden movements to kill everyone in the hospital." he thought as sweat was running down his head. Batosai tried with all his might to not watch this but his eyes were drawn to it like a picture. But with those few moments, Hatsuyuki disabled the bomb, turing Batosai's fear into relief. "Thank god." Batosai though as he and Hatsuyuki probably saved hundreds of lives inside the building. He then turned his attention towards the boy who was still standing. He turned his head to Hatsuyuki to show his gratitude. "Thank you for helping out...it was well needed. Now if you excuse me I got take care of this son of a b***h." Batosai said to Hatsuyuki.

[D: You were supposed to work together not just Hatsuyuki doing it herself XD + 1 from Caleo... I mean, the reason the DC is so high is because Midori, Hikaru etc are hiding in the hospital somewhere >_> but whatever.
Just so you know, I also factored in teamwork when creating the lil boy stats >_>
@Caleo: Make sure you don't make more attacks per turn than you are allowed to. I think you can only make 1 or something <_<]
The boy detected the knives too late but reacted quickly, only getting grazed by one. His attention turned to Batosai and as Batosai ran forward the child anticipated his movements and dodged them easily. With a hiss he realised that the bomb had been rendered useless and childishly turned to the culprit: Hatsuyuki. He decided that Batosai wasn't much of a threat and decided to aim for Hatsuyuki, throwing a kunai at her before closing in.

i asked my out science department (inside joke) why. he stated it is not a tempature thing persay it is a dencity thing. the dencer the matter the easier energy passes threw them. squerming out of the gaurds arm rei sprinted down a hall then a adjacent hall with the tags. turning an other corner the gaurd jumped rei and pinned him to the ground. a gipsie saw the rumble and exlpained the situation. escape dc: 13 sprint dc: 16 hang on ceiling dc: 15
