((Hey, I just found out that I'm going on vacation on Friday, and will be gone for perhaps a week. I don't think we'd be getting too far ahead in our storyline since Sasha's moving, so this probably came at a good time. But anyway, I'll see you all in about a week!))

Dyanel appeared by the stove, with the kettle going and a bag of donuts on the table. She looked around and saw a box of Cheez-Its moving on the counter. Dyanel raised an eyebrow and looked around smiling at the others and Jakeil. She grabbed the box and put her hand in pulling out that loveable ball of fluff.
"Cheebs," Dyanel remarked simply.
The yellow fluff turned with his cheeks full of Cheez Its. "Heh whoa" he remarked swallowing.

Katha appeared next to Dyanel and leaned against the counter next to the stove...
"I take it this isn't one of your fave topics to discuss... I'm sorry that I asked you but I want to know what my brother was like."
Katha loved Cole as any sister should love her younger brother. That time in Cole's life was lost to her thanks to Guzo. Having found someone who could shed light on this subject, Katha would not back down until she found what she needed to know.

Dyanel patted Cheebs head and placed him back on ther counter. She took the box of Cheez-Its and put them in the cupboard, taking a few jars out as well. She took out another two tea cups from another cupboard and set them down on the counter next to Cheebs. Cheebs examined the cups and looked at Dyanel.
"Can I have some too?" he asked politely.
Dyanel glared and got out another cup. She looked back at Katha. "It's not that it's hard to talk about, it's just, I was only a child really, some things I can remember, some I can't" she stated as the kettle hissed.
She opened the jars and took out three sprigs of mint, then the other for three sprigs of jasmine. She place one sprig of each in a cup.
"So what exactly do you want to know?" she asked sitting on a stool as she poured the hot water into a glass.

"I want to know how he lived and what he did with his life back then. Emberis may not care about that time in Cole's life but I do. As his sister I want to know what kind of person he was. Cole doesn't talk much about that time period so I'm hoping that you can."
Katha's voice held a mix of concern, slight anxiety, and a bit of worry as she spoke. To be honest, Katha was a bit frightened to hear what Cole lived like back in those days.

Dyanel poured some milk and sugar into both her cup and Cheebs. She took a sip and put the cup down thinking.
"Well, Cole was a wanderer honestly, we all were. We traveled with an orge named Gore place to place. It was kind of funny how I met him, he was running away from marriage to one of my elf friends. I was kind of his hostage he couldn't get rid of. He was funny to me, Gore wanted me to stay, especially when they realized I got them free food since I was so small as we went town from town. We fought rebels, those who opposed us, but never picked fights. He was always shocked that I was the size of a 6 year old and could wield a sword better than he could," she told Katha smiling slightly.
She went for a donut as did Cheebs.

Katha listened intently to what Dyanel was telling... unfortuneatly, what Dyanel had just said was almost the exact thing Cole had told when she asked him. Katha shook her head slightly...
"Is there anything else you can tell me?"

Dyanel thought for a moment.
"Well nothing that sticks out. We were just a team until Gore died. We sort of went our seperate ways. Destiny had caught up to me, while Cole just... well disappeared one day," Dyanel remarked taking another sip of her tea.
"Ooh" Cheebs remarked wide eyed.

Dyanel dipped a donut in her tea scowling a bit at Cheebs.
"He just seemed lonely, sometimes though, there were moments I'd be on Gore's shoulders and we'd be laughing about some random way Cole got into trouble again. Then he'd go off into blank stares which he didn't share with neither one of us, just be thinking to himself. I never did ask what he was thinking about though, I didn't feel like it was my place, place I was still a kid," she said taking another drink of her tea.

Katha let out a sigh and merely leaned against the counter...

Cheebs padded to Dyanel and nuzzled her arm sleepily. Dyanel looked down and scratched Cheebs behind the ears.
"I'm sorry, I think it's something you might want to ask him, we all have our demons though... well inner ones," she answered sighing.

Dyanel was still scratching Cheebs ears as a small purr came from his throught. She looked down and back up at Katha.
"Well, maybe he doesn't want to. Cole was very... pained you could say back then," she stated picking another donut up and taking a bite.

With a sigh Katha stood and looked at Dyanel...
"You're probably right...it still kinda hurts though. The fact the my own sibling will not open up to me or even turn to me for comfort... Cole trys to carry the weigh to of the world on his shoulders and doesn't want others to help him."
Another sigh left Katha's lips and she rested her arms on the counter, her head resting on her hands.

Jakeil had sat there, listening to everything going on. She looked at Katha and smiled slightly petting Cheebs who had fallen asleep.
"Its okay, at least you know his past, I'm an unknown," she said to her.
She hoped she wasn't intruding.
