Leila's anger rose again. "I would NOT be alone! I would be with my loving parents! And I would be celebrating my sixteenth birthday in another few months! And I'd have presents!" She yelled all of this as tears streamed down her face, the thought of such things caused a lump to form in her throat. She lunged at Vanessa, wanting to hit her, to make her take back all the things she said.

Dream smiled a bit. Vanessa may be a little... unexpected... but she had good intentions, after all. And his words had allowed Leila to see what she had almost done. "She's got the right idea, though." He looked at Leila, happy she had stopped trying to kill the man, even if Violet probably wasn't.
"What you can do is your own choice. Think about it though... you probably should have been an angel. What would an angel do?"

Vioet shook her head in dismay.
"Hells Bells your already a demon,like the demons would ever let you go to heaven anyway, just kill him. Its all he deserves. Your souls gone already, get over it," she said angrily. Striding forward she stood, leaning over the man. It was obvious that if Leila didn't kill him she would.

And it was just as obvious that Dream didn't want that to happen. "Come on, Violet. He's just a normal human. It's not his fault." He sighed. "Do you honestly think he should suffer just because you want him to?"

Vanessa ducks right before Leila's fist hit her head.
"What are you trying to do?!" Vanessa said, eyes filled with tears. "Listen! I'm just trying to help because I don't feel like getting hurt in any way right now! Your one of my FRIEDNS now, ok?! FRIENDS!" Vanessa screamed. She ran over to one of the benches near the dirt path, and sat down, head in her hands, crying. This was the first time that she felt she could trust some one, but she felt like she had just lost it.

Dream looked at her, and then back to Leila. "Does that make you happy? I don't think that it should... You should go make up with her. It's the right thing to do."

Violet nodded, the human qualities she had seeming to fade in the presence of her wide gleaming eyes and stretched grin.
"Of course i do, thats my purpose for existing. My family's famous for killing. You should be thankful the person to die has commited so much wrong," she replied, her wings arching up above her head, making her look far taller and frightening.
"I may look almost human...but nothing could be further from the truth," she stated, her voice barely above her whisper.

((Whoops lol, thats what i get for trying to read a book, msn and post at the same time lol.))
Violet ran a hand through her jet black hair.
"She's bound to feel the same way. She's a demon, like me," she snarled, though it was softer then before. Turning on heel she stared at Leila, her head on the side a little. Her hand was still compulsivly curling around the handle of her sword.

Dream looked at Leila one last time before stepping away. He felt that too many people telling her opposite things to do would pressure her too much and possibly make her decision not true to herself. Instead, he walked over to Vanessa. He attempted to comfort her in a softer voice. "Vanessa... I'm sure that Leila didn't mean that. She was just reacting."

I was just trying to help her out..." Vanessa said. " Because now I feel like she's my friend..." Vanessa said, drying up her tears. She stood up, standing next to Dream. "I mean... It seems like every time I try to do something right, it allways truns the other way around..." Vanessa said, sadly.

Leila yelled at Dream before he want over to Vanessa. "She said mean things! I would NOT be alone." Her appearance had returned somewhat to normal, the claws and fangs now gone. She sat down hard on the sand, glancing at Violet. "She deserved it...right?" after which she sighed heavily. This stuff ujst wasn't easy...
The man had pulled himself above water, wondering if he was dead, swimming to the shores of Heaven. But he saw the familiar figures from before and realized he was still alive. Curse his luck. Maybe he stayed right where he was, they would just leave, having forgotten him. It would be best if he stayed underwater for a bit right now, in case they turned around and saw him. Taking a big gulp of air, he sat on his haunches, his head only a few inches below the surface.

I was just trying to help... I didn't want yiu to hurt anyone..." Vanessa said, softly. "I mean... Your sorta... My friend now, and I didn't want to see you hurt... I mean I'm sorry that I hurt you, but I didn't want to see you like that..." Vanessa said, timidly. She sat back down on the bench, looking at Leila, waiting for her to reply.

"I guess...I'm sorry too for acting so irrationally. Sorry..." her voice lowered in her apology, almost turning into a mumble. Leila kicked at the sand a bit, feeling ashamed and embarrassed at what she had done to someone who considered her a friend.

Vanessa stood up and went to sit down next to Leila. "I'm really sorry..." Vanessa said, warmly. She stretched out her hand, and grabbed Leila's. She held it very tightly, before seeing something under the water, "Hey... Hey what's that. She stood up, and went over to look int he water. She waded over to wear the figure waws, and saw the man. "Why... WHy is he under there?" Vanessa questioned.
