[I'm just gonna hurry things long a bit, Mercuraki, so you can just get to exploring.] A cacophony of muttering and whispering passed along the bench. A race with the ability to adopt the physical appearance of other beings? Well, needless to say, most of the Wise Ones were quite skeptical and wondered if this was some sort of tall tale, but they were intrigued nonetheless. " Really?" said the yellow Draconian who had first spoken to the group as he leaned forward. " Please, do go on . . ." ***** Roughly an hour later, the doors leading into the main council room opened once again, and Nake, his friends, and the Draconians who had accompanied them stepped back out into the antechamber. After listening to their story, the Wise Ones had deliberated long and hard, and finally decided to give the group rights to wander the island as they pleased. To reflect this, they each received a small piece of parchment certifying that they had permission to do so from the Wise Ones. As they stepped outside, Flarus turned and bowed to Nake and the rest of his group. "I must be leaving now. I have other business to attend to. I apologize for my rash behavior when we first met, and I hope we meet again." Then the crimson-colored Draconian straightened up, and nodded respectfully. "Goodbye." With that, he and Baltus left, and the small group was free to go wherever they desired. Meawhile, Relt and his partner rose from their seats. "Come," he said to Daniel and his entourage. "It is our turn now."

And of course, they followed. Best not to be rude on another person's turf, after all. Besides, it would hopefully not take that long. Then again, it didn't matter how long it took, as long as the message was sent and the point got across. There was nothing to fear...
So why did they feel like they were voluntarily stepping into a den of lions, as the saying went?

"Mmm." She giggled gently and shrugged. "They'll have to get over it."
Asherah was looking at the water. She was thirsty odd enough, transforming did that to her. And usually she had a bottle of water somewhere nearby.
"They like me right? I'm sure they won't s**t themselves."
Unannounced to her, Enki always carries bottles of water on his person. He smiles gently over at her at her question. "Well, I can only hope so, or I figure they would have kicked you out by now."

"Funny, they were going to probably eat me instead. Those lizards can fight. but, they can be nice too. I guess.. Or something."
As they walked along, Asherah kicked a few rocks, and a few sticks out of her way. It seemed that she was getting the rougher path.
"Bleh," she stuck out her tongue, "there's mud ahead..."

As they walked along, Asherah kicked a few rocks, and a few sticks out of her way. It seemed that she was getting the rougher path.
"Bleh," she stuck out her tongue, "there's mud ahead..."
Enki's eyes turn bright blue as they approach the mud and water from the river flows to the mud and hardens to ice, becoming jagged on the top offering stability on the normally treacherous terrain.

Her long ears flattened to her head as she saw this happen before her eyes, he didn't have to do it. But now, she was probably going to slip and look rather silly.
"Ice and me.. um aren't meant to be. I'll slip if I don't have skates."
She stopped and thought of alternatives. But only one showed in her mind. Him carrying her. So she sucked it up.
"But I'll walk anyway. Don't want to be a burden.. Eh..heh..."

For a woman as old as she was, Asherah wasn't very subtle about her speech patterns. Enki looks down at her and cocks an eyebrow before leaning down and wrapping one arm around her middle back, his other slipping under her legs and lifting her up into his arms. He holds the woman close to his chest and walks slowly across the ice, the jagged surface making it much easier to walk then smooth ice.

She would open her eyes to look at him, she'd blush for sure. Asherah wasn't the type to fall for a man in a night.... But there was always exceptions...

Enki just kind of smiles as he walks across the ice with the woman nestled against his chest. After passing the small bridge, he looks down at her with a slightly cocked eyebrow. "Now the choice is yours, little Ashera," he says as his eyes stay affixed to hers. "I can put you down now, or continue carrying you to the city."

Opening a single eye, A bright red blush could have covered her whole face, but it didn't. Ehhhh s**t he's handsome... she thought, yet not giving an answer.

Again, not very subtle. He smirks and continues walking on ahead, still holding Ashera in his arms as he makes toward the city. "Of your people I have had many indirect encounters and a couple direct ones. But of you, little one, I only recall on that one occasion."

"Must not be too important then." She said and she lightly rested her head on his chest. "I'm not that exciting either. I guess I ca say I've already had my hay days..." A smile appeared. "Ryoko would've liked you.."
She wished she could have taken what she just said back. It slipped, and Asherah wasn't ready to speak of it.
"... But I guess she can't be here to meet you."

A small laugh escape Enki lips as he once again looks down at her. "You know, ever few years I tell myself that, but something new always manages to creep up on you. So who's this Ryoko and why wouldn't they have liked me?"
