You seem to make friends so easily Takara. Or did you know these people before the Pagoda? I'd wandered alone the whole time I was away from home until finding the Pagoda... Well, Loki has piqued my interest, so I vote for hearing the story along with Tochi.

"I didn't meet Tochi or Travis before coming here, but I did run into Loki before. I was being chased by some hunters and he helped me out. Then we started travelling together...If my story has to be told, then so does Tochi's. Loki, I'll give you the honors of this account."
"Takara, it's such a nice story. I don't know why you dislike it."
"I simply didn't like him, now please get on with the story before I change my mind and gag you."
"Well, we had just arrived in this quaint town, when we noticed she was being followed who turned out to be some demons. A fight ensued and the demons were killed, but then the two of us were taken to the lord of the castle nearby. When we arrived, the young Lord Iashu was playing a game with some ladies. He was blindfolded and was chasing them around, trying to catch them. He ran into Takara and held her while removing his blindfold to see who he had caught. He was quite surprised to see it wasn't one of the court ladies. Lord Iashu stood like that for a few moments before smiling. It was then that we found out the game had been to choose his future wife. Things got pretty complicated and it took us at least a week and 5 attempted escapes to convince him to choose someone else. You should have seen Takara during that time, especially when Lord Iashu tried to win her over, she was a awkward as a new-born calf trying to stand. Honestly, she could face demons, hunters, dragons, but not that lord. She was quite relieved to leave. Love was definately not her thing. Though I don't know if that has changed."

Tochi looked at Tarara,trying to keep a strait face. It lasted a few seconds before he broke down. "Fine, but it's a crappy story. I was hired to kidnap a throing master, but Kax got in the way. I decided to let the kid go. That was my first failed mission."

I'll help where I can. No one comes in here and disturbs the quiet of this place if I can do anything about it.
*Hikari ran after Loki towards the woods. Since she had begun to study a bit of astral magic lately, her recent trip to the astral realm had left a lingering effect on her astral abilities. They were very basic, and relatively weak, but she was able if she concentrated, to feel differences in the energy of the area. She couldn't tell who it was or even if it was positive or negative energy, but it was something to start with.*
There is something, something new going on, about 2 miles southeast of the edge of the forest... Shall we head there?

Takara appeared on the lakeside with Tochi and sat down, staring across the lake. She rested her head on his shoulder, comforted by his presence. Even though the scene was so peaceful, a look of worry crossed her features...Should she leave again?...
