I take it then that I'm not the only one disappointed by the outcome? gonk (and this isn't necessarily a chat thread..it's just a place for intros I think so people can look you up later...kinda like a GSA directory! biggrin )

Oh and by the way. Due to the idiots who I have to go to school with stressed sinnce I was little. I picked up homophobic slang terms a lot witch have become part of my genral speach stressed . I just say them by instinct as a genral insult. If you ever see me say them on gaia anywahre in an argument(not in this guild obviously) then I don't mean them to be homophobic... just so you know

At work we recently talked a lot about biases and just things that seem inborn, like your using homophobic slang deragatorily (is that even a word? o.O). The lady who was leading the workshop gave an excellent approach to changing those kinds of things. When it happens, you just take note. You say "oh, I just used "gay" as an insult," each time. If you take note of those kinds of things consciously, the mind has a way of changing itself. Obviously you can't just vow not to use that slang, because it just won't work. Just take note, and know what you want to change. You're on the right track :]
